• Can an HP Photosmart Premium copy to printing on paper of the flat bed scanner?

  Whenever I press the copy on my printer HP Protosmart Premium C410, it will attempt to load to the top of the ADF and won't copy of the flat bed scanner. Is this normal? Can I copy starting from the plateau that I would with books, etc. that does not fit into the ADF.

• Document feeder disabling in order to use the flat bed scanner

  I wouldn't give up. So for someone else with the same problem, that's what I did. I "restored by default" and the document feeder does not activate automatically, however, it didn't complete the process 'copy' and print my document off the Board either. It is in an infinite loop, so I had no choice, but to pull the plug. I received the message telling me not to do so, as if I had another choice. I waited a minute or so and plugged back in and I was able to copy, cut and print the document on the scanner.

  What I want to do: read a map OR 6 analog voltages and provide a few analog/digital outputs from another card of NEITHER.

  Here's what I do: I use the DAQ assistant to acquire 6 different analogue voltages on a simulated map of NI 9205. I tried to run at the same time all 6 data acquisition assistant acquires (which did not), but I read that since there is only a single clock on the map, so I can not use multiple acquires at the same time because of timing issues (right?). Then, I put my DAQ assistants in their own images in a flat sequence then they would be operated sequentially. This works fine, but each frame/acquire takes 1 second to complete. Which means that my program lasts 6 seconds to do everything acquires it, before my other code outside the plate sequence. Outside platform sequence are my trips (some digital and analog a bit on a slider). Because my flat sequence lasts 6 seconds to compete, my outputs are updated only once every the 6 seconds, where as before the flat sequence has been inserted that they have been updated little almost instantly.

  Here are the questions: can I do the flat sequence run faster? Or is there a way to simultaneously acquire several analog voltage using the DAQ assistant. I feel that I shouldn't need to the apartment of sequences, but do not know a better way to go about it.

  I hope that makes sense and I'm pretty new to labview so feel free to add many details.

  PS: If you try my Vi, notice how slowly the 3 top entries in the page update, if I remove the huge flat sequence, they run very quickly and smoothly, which is what I would like.

  Instead of trying to run 6 assistants for the acquisition of data in parallel (or sequential), use one assistant DAQ who reads all channels simultaneously.

• Store values in the flat order

  Hi all,

  I have the problem as I would like to ask for help from the community.

  I currently use the flat sequence to run two blocks of different functions for my VI. Therefore, there are two frames in the sequence of plate.

  For the first image, I'd like to store the previously calculated value so that when I come back to the first frame again, I can use this value to calculate the next value. It's like the iteration. I am currently using registry to offset this.

  The problem I have enconter is that when my VI goes to the second image, the values in the first image that is stored in shift registers have disappeared.

  I didn't really need to use the shift registers. I want to just store the previous value so that I can use it again in the next round.

  This is the VI to better illustrate my problem.

  Hi Keith,

  the values in the shiftregister are only in the one frame. If you need also in two, then you must connect the wire of the output of shiftregister for the second image. If you need values of frame two Connectionwithsuchprocedures one, then put a loop around the sequence and also a shiftregister.

  Hi all

  We are currently looking at GoldenGate as a mechanism to capture changes to tables specified in an Oracle database and produce text files containing these changes in near real-time. Everything I read pointing adapter flat file for GoldenGate as a way to get there.

  I am now at the point where I want to start a little POC see prove if it will work for our needs. I downloaded GG for databases Oracle 12.1.2.1.0 RTO, as well as customer GG monitor and Director of GG. My question is now - where can I download the flat file adapter? It includes the GG for the download of Oracle?

  If I missed something in the documentation somewhere - I'm happy to be told where to read them.

  (1) delivery seems to be the only place to get it

  (2) 12 GoldenGate can capture a trail and send it to a configuration of GoldenGate 11 running FF adapter.

  Hi, I created an interface allowing to export an oracle table to a csv file. All the columns in the table work well. Then I need to insert the sysdate in a column in the csv file.

  I made the map as working in the transit area, implementation is to_char(sysdate,'dd/mm/yyyy'). But the result is insert in column 14.

  I tried to create a variable refreshing that choose double to_char(sysdate,'dd/mm/yyyy'), maps then as the csv file column, but he only insert 1 row and the format is YYYYMMDD.

  I tried to use SELECT '< % = odiRef.getSysDate ("YYYYMMDD") % >' double to the variable and it also only insert a line in the flat file.

  I used the same methodology in ODI10g, it works fine.

  So, I wonder how it can be implemented in 11g.

  It turns out that I used the snapshot_date as a field name, it may be a reserved word. After that I changed the name of the field, it works fine. Thank you.

• deleted all vm outside the flat vmdk files - recovery?

  In a moment of madness I accidentally tried to remove a virtual machine from a data store. All updated files other than the flat vmdk file then deleted... It is not a critical system, but I still prefer to retrieve by using the existing if possible vmdk file. Since it is a flat file without descriptor I can not simply use it as basis for a new virtual machine, then how would you go to get it? In my view, a provisioning was not used, so should I just copy on a linux machine, it mount it and copy the relevant files or I can pick it up in esx - i?

  Edit: I should probably add that I know the exact size of the disc, but when I try to create new disks I can't manage to get split into flat vmdk / basic (with an idea of just using the new disks for the old descriptor)

  Take a look at sanbarrow.com for some details on this kind of issue, but basically, you can follow this process

  (1) create a new virtual machine with the same disc than the old size.

  (2) copy the file descriptor on file with just the file flat.vmdk left.

  (3) change the descriptor file (hard) and update to point to the old file flat.vmdk.

  (4) allowing the VM.

  (5) change the new virtual machine and delete the virtual HD.

  (6) copy the old file to the new folder VM with vmkfstools.

  (7) to change the new virtual machine and add a file of existing (using the new copy) drive.

  (8) to turn on the virtual machine.

  But before that, you can you

  1) check for us if the virtual machine still works

  (2) post a list of the folder where the virtual computer files were (with the-l option to show the size of the file).

  (3) can you tell me what VMware product and version are you using?  I guess ESXi 3.5 but it would be preferable to confirm.

• Where is the *-flat.vmdk file?

  We have a pretty basic setup with run vm bit at the moment.  ESX 3.5 update 4 clinging to an iSCSI san.  I have install on ten VM and used almost all the flaws on them except for the size of the disk and memory.  I'm a bit puzzled as to why I can't see the file SERVERNAME - flat hard in the directory of the virtual machine on the SAN.  While browsing the vm files, I can see all other files associated with each virtual machine, just none of the flat - files.  Can someone explain to me why this is?  Should I see them there?  They are there and I can't see them?

  You can define an external table to read data from the file and a simple view to convert the string enclosed in columns:

  I'm trying to remove users from the IOM by using a single value of one of the present of the UDF in the flat file for example say SSN. I preferred the approach to go through a scheduled task to remove users from IOM. I know that the permanent deletion of IOM through the database is not possible. To have written a custom code to do the same thing and I have used the tcuseroperationintf.deleteuser(long...) method. But I had a straight and simple query for the same thing. Should what value I contact in the long appropriate field in the list of the attributes of this method?

  I try to write a (attached) VI who enjoy an analog voltage that crosses one analog multiplexer. I am using a flat sequence structure to change the output of select signals to change the channel to be sampled. I wonder if I can turn on the structure when my Boolean input of the sample is TRUE?

  Based on the image (I can't watch the VI himself), he doesn't seem to be a necessity for the sequence at all. There is data connections Wizard DAQ to two scalar indicators, which implies that you are taking a single sample. No need to acquire multiple samples and throw all but one. The second sequence is certainly unnecessary.
