  Hi, I'm on a mac OS 10.11.1. 24 GB of memory are installed. The graphics card is NVIDIA Quadro 4000 2048 MB. I use photoshop CC 2015 01 Release. Recently I started having a problem in camera raw which may coincide with a recent update CC15. When I treat a raw file in ACR, words like clarity, contrast, exposure, etc., disappear as soon as I move a slider. This also happens when I use the camera raw filter. Move the sliders again changes the image, but I don't really know what I am drag once the descriptive text disappears.  I 'use the graphics processor' unchecked preferences in camera raw.   The ACR and DNG Converter store their profiles in the same folder.  If you have recently uninstalled the DNG Converter, maybe he deleted all of the profiles?  You could put them back by reinstalling the DNG Converter 9.1, which is available on the Adobe updates page:

• Camera Raw has disappeared

  Hi guys

  I am on Win10. To cut a long painful story short, after only a few updates damaged my database the other day, I had to uninstall and reinstall all my applications (using the Adobe cleaning tool. The last of them was Camera Raw. I went through the process of uninstalling, but unlike other applications, after the phase of uninstalling the process CR does not appear as a new application to replace in my Office Manager. OK, I put a Windows restore point, but that did not work and CR has not appeared again. I don't find it as an application in the CC product page or download manually.

  How can we get CR? Is it connected with the Ps or Lr?

  Try to reset the Preferences in Photoshop

  * manual backup Presets, action before you reset it.

  Also to update Camera raw to the latest version updated to Photoshop

  I recently worked with pages and came across this strange question, when I select the eyedropper and I try to pick a color, the cursor disappears suddenly. This isn't a major problem, as this can be corrected instantly by using CMD + Tab, but I was wondering if this is a bug, that I'm not aware, or something is wrong with my 'Pages '?

  I don't have this problem in v5.6.2 on OS X 10.11.4 Pages. As soon as I used the Eyedropper to select a color, my insertion beam comes immediately. Update the Pages.

  If you want to copy a color, why not use the Format: copy of Style, and then select a Format and a selection of the target: Style of dough.

  There is nothing wrong with my internet connection.  I am connected to a LAN of University and have no problem.

  OK, after having spent several minutes to compose and post a question in the forum, the problem magically disappeared.

  This thread can now I closed, I guess.

• Fallacious rectangles or "glitch" appear when using Camera Raw.

  When I use Camera Raw, I see fake or rectangles 'glitch' appear when using various tools of exposure, the adjustment brush setting, etc.. To work around the problem, I set a tool that I use as an exhibition or a brush until the rectangles disappear, then try to accomplish my initial task. Although annoying and disruptive to work, the question so far seems innocuous from a real perspective of corruption.

  The question goes far (stops going completely) when I uncheck the box "use Graphics Processor' Raw.

  My guess is that it is a matter of driver/GPU. If someone knows something about this, would be great to hear, otherwise I just wanted to share the info in case someone else has the same problem arise.

  Note, I have a relatively new Intel 970M, latest drivers and a lot of memory... This isn't an 'old system' or lack of memory type of question.

  You have your answer. That's what a lot of people have had to do when their graphics card does not work well with the cab. No solution other than what you were doing.

  Reinstall Photoshop fixes this problem. I guess I just met a bug on the last update. After full reinstalled everything is up-to-date and the Camera Raw filter works correctly.

  I have a mac OSX 10.8.5, photoshop is installed and up-to-date - CC (2014). I own a 700 d camera Canon. I have not recently updated the operating system of my computer, photoshop and camera raw have been working well since creative cloud last updated - a month ago?
  When I try to open a raw file (open with > adobe photoshop)

  I had this also when I tried to go file > open recent > IMG_138.CR2. So I went to photoshop > Preferences > camera raw... to see what was going on and I got a different error message

  I had this same error message when I tried to look in photoshop > about plug-in > camera raw.
  Camera Raw works not in Photoshop Elements.
  

  But this makes no sense because I can open raw files yesterday, everything worked fine. In Photoshop Elements, I went to Photoshop Elements > about plug-in > Camera Raw, but all I get is the following:

  Photoshop Elements open digital, negatives, but Photoshop won't and I get the same dialogue "cannot recognize the file type. I doubt that using a digital negative converter / raw file will change that. I need camera raw to work in photoshop.

  The ACR 7.4 700 d or newer of the 70 d (if there was typo) requires and ACR, 8.2 or newer.

  PS CC 2015 as the title says needs OS X 10.9 or newer so PS CC 2014 is the most recent CC PS, you can run on your 10.8.

  11 elements of Photoshop that supports RTAs 7.1 also supports ACR 7.4, so you should be able to update your PSE11 to 7.4 of the cab and open the 700 d raw files.

  --

  It is unclear why your PS CC 2014 cannot be updated at least 8.2 RTAs that must run on your old operating system.

  I would be completely uninstall the PS CC 2014, reboot, then reinstall and use the help / updates to see if you can get a new Camera Raw plugin that works.

• Help! Problem with Camera Raw image settings

  I've recently upgraded to El Capitan in Snow Leopard. I use Photoshop CS5.1 and 6.3 of ACR. I work with my Canon T5i DNG files. (conversion from the CR2 files with the DNG Converter).

  OK, so this is the problem: before upgrading the operating system, everything was fine. Now, I noticed that all the files that I have previously set in ACR, are always "adjusted" visually, but all the sliders have been reset to default and some are grayed out.

  For example, let's say I have an image that I've desaturated in the past. Now, if I open it in ACR, the image is still gray, but all cursors are reset to zero, and the saturation slider is sometimes gray. Nevertheless, the color information is gone, so I can't go back to the original version of the color.

  Again, what are the DNG files, so no XMP file don't like using CR2 files...

  Any suggestions?

  I saw your picture on my computer Windows 10 using Camera Raw 9.3.1. On my computer, loaded with the basic settings the image that looks like this:

  

  And on the Panel of Hue/Saturation/Lightness "Convert to grayscale" was checked. But the image was posted in the 2010 process version. As soon as I changed the version of process for 2012, all cursors Basic returns on their positions by default. I don't know if that answers your question. But it is the behaviour that I have seen.

  IM using photoshop cc on my mac and when I open the raw files and edit them in raw form and then open the file in photoshop, when I finished raw edit, the picture is about the missing half in black blocks, what should I do to get rid of the image missing half.

  Put the GPU in Adobe Camera Raw and let us know if it disappears. You will need to repeat the process.
