  Hi Shaji,

  I think that, before anyone can help with this question, you need give a little more information about the custom dashboard and how it gets its data, specifically how the dashboard does know what alarms to display.

  Dashboards customized very often uses the services to restrict or choose what they post.  If this is the case for your personalized dashboard, you can use the "analysis - Hosts events" report to report on the alarms against the hosts in this service.

  Hi all

  I'm looking for a tool that can allow me to create SWF files to use for the custom dashboard. I know third-party SWF, swf templates can be created using tools to create files and we can build dashboards customized unifier.

  Can anyone provide me with the list of tools to create SWF files you used for unifying dashboards.

  The only tool that SWF dashboards have been designed to work with are Xcelcius. Please keep in mind that only Skire inherited who had created dashboards SFW clients the possibility to use SWF dashboards.

• Unable to share the custom dashboard

  I have the Version 5.8.2, build 1885282 od VCOPS company.

  It's the update from version 5.8.1.

  I created several dashboards customized in the version 5.8.1 I was able to share them between groups.

  But now in version 5.8.2 I don't see / have the share for dashboards customized button. All I see is:

  Dashboard tools: MODIFY REMOVE CLONE INTERACTIONS CREATE TEMPLATE EXPORT and IMPORT

  I'm in the band directors with all active access right.

  No idea what happened?

  Problem solved.

  The problem is connected to the web browser. Firefox and Chrome do not allow to share custom dashboards. Either a sharing option as there is no problem at all. Share - is the only one missing out of the entire line, and it became very confused to me. Login as administrator, Member of the Admin group, does not. The time I had to go to IE (which is very rarely as you can see) I was able to share the dashboard.

  Because you are using a custom dashboard, I would say that you use the Advanced/Enterprise license. You can configure the tab rotation in ' dashboards-> reorder tabs... ". ». From there, you can set what dashboards (Automatic Transition) and the time (inseconds) and the tab following (this tab). Do not forget to loop to the first tab if you want to loop forever.

• I am told to close the customer dashboard to complete the installation, but I can't find that anywhere on my Mac.

Installers usually get Flash Adobe for open web browsers before installing and recommend it be closed before you install it. Then, try to go to the dashboard and then move your mouse over any widget open and then hold down option (or alt) and a small must appear in the upper left corner of the widget. Click to close the widget. Repeat this for all open widgets, and then re-run the installer of Flash. »

  I can't install Flash Player on my Macbook Pro OS X Lion mountain, due to the error it keep show me, that my dashboard Client is running and I need to shut it down.

• VROPs 6.2 - No custom dashboard Data

  Hi all

  All my dashboards customized is blue with 'No data '. I checked and the adapter is OK. State of collection and the State of the Collection.

  I tried to change the table edge, but when I used find it looking for a host, I noticed that the State of the Collection of the host is start State and collection = none.

  Sometimes, when I click on home, I receive an error "Internal Server Error" and did not find the requested source.

  No idea how to solve this problem?

  After three failures trying to migrate our installation vCOps 5.8.4 6.0.1 I decided to start from scratch with 6.0.1.

  Everything works well now in the 6.0.1 installation costs - but without any of my beautiful homegrown dashboards.

  Y at - it no change to import my dashboards customized since the old 5.8.4 instance to 6.0.1?

  I know that eventually they will not work out of the box because internal IDs etc. have changed. But just to have as a framework and turn the objects and settings inside would help a lot.

  If anyone sees a chance, or do I have to recreate everything manually? :-/

• Custom dashboard - alerts Email?

  I put a dashboard customized for one of my app teams to monitor disk space on their servers

  In particular the / opt partition on Unix servers

  The dashboard works fine - but I can't seem to find out where we can set up email alerts to be generated for any server "not green".

  First of all, you have setup your system to generate alerts when used in comments file system % used is greater than 70%. You must then configure alert to you Notifications alerts.

  Configure instances of alert Manager to send alert in the form of e-mail notifications. Select Manager > configure outgoing alert. Add the Instance of alert Manager to send alert notifications to users in e-mail messages, you must create an alert handler which

  send alert notifications to a mail filter.

  Procedure

  1 select Admin > configure outgoing alert.

  2 Add or change an instance of Manager e-mail alert.

  Response option

  Add an instance of alert Manager e-mail one click the Add alert Manager.

  filtering rules to send email notifications to alert appropriate users based on the application, resources

  A definition of e-mail template specifies what file to use for a given type of alert e-mail template subtype, and

  status. An e-mail template file defines the body of the text of an e-mail alert notice.

  vCenter Operations Manager provides several default e-mail template files. You can also create your own

  custom post template files. In general, you use the model files of e-mail by default for most of the notifications and

  create e-mail customized files from model for users that require different information in their notifications. You can

  create e-mail custom templates before or after that you configure e-mail template definitions.

  You usually send file definitions as the e-mail template files. Most of e-mail template

  definitions of point to the same e-mail template file, even if they are for different combinations of types of alerts

  and beneficiaries.

  emailFilter.xml file

  emailFilter.xml is an XML file that defines the filter rules and model files to use for the alert message

  notifications. The file also contains the General settings that apply to all email alert notifications.

  CAUTION do not change the emailFilter.xml directly unless you are familiar with the syntax and the XML structure. A

  formatting error may prevent job email alert notifications. If you change emailFilter.xml directly,

  Make a backup of the file until you change it.

  After you change the emailFilter.xml file, you must restart the instance of plug-in filter e-mail in

  vCenter Operations Manager to make your changes take effect

  I am currently using vCOps version 5.7.1 (adapter API)

  I created a dashboard customized with a personalized relationship widget.

  The dashboard provides a hierarchical view of the resources I'm followed by using vCOps.

  More than once a monitoring system contains all of the selected resources to display in the custom rel widget.

  This leads to the dashboard doesn't is not loaded / imported. After import of the dashboard vCOps gives the exception "not all key information has been found to import dashboard.

  You talk about importation of a dashboard in vC Ops correct? The "not all key information" error will occur if there are resources defined statically or relatively or metrics that are used by the widget or dashboard, but do not exist in the vC instance Ops that you import in to. Be tenacious by filling a widget with RK and attributes if you plan to import correctly into vC bodies of PAHO.

  I have a list of documents located on a local drive of the FMS d:\data\. I would like to be able to click on a tab in a dasboard and list of links only when I click on every link will allow me to open a specific document in the data folder.

  To do this, you will need to change the configuration of the Web of FMS server to allow access to the directory where your files reside and allow registration of these files.  By default, ads are refused by JBoss for security reasons.  If you really want to do this, you can either dynamically create an index.html file or change the server config to allow entries (which can be considered to be a security issue).  If you are one of those, you can check if you can get the registration by going to the URL associated with the directory.  If successful, you can set a hyperlink on the dashboard at this URL.  For changes of JBoss, you can start with a lot of resources on the web, including this one.  In your case, using the c:\Data can also be difficult because it is not in the path of the web server.  Which has a few options, but you will need to deal with that also.

  Hi Vivek-

  Is it a dashboard drag-and - déposer? If so, open the right in Foglight pane, click the general tab, and then click Properties,

  then click on change the basic properties. Change the setting of relevant role, and then click all the checkboxes you see. That should leave no matter what other Foglight regardless of role or permission, users have access to your dashboard. It must be visible when they connect a field in the left navigation pane called "other users Dashboards."
