  I have investigated static customization using MDS and have travelled [customization of Applications with MDS | http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/web.1111/b31974/customize.htm] (and the apparently identical copy in JDeveloper Help Center). However, I was able to customize my application because I get this error (some parts have been abbreviated) when you start JDeveloper with the role of developer of personalization:
  
  Error initializing configuration MDS of application 'file:/C:/Documents and Settings/..._adf_main.jws '. Customizations disabled for this application. MDS-00035: cannot load the class: oracle... uiview. IndustryCC.
  
  The problem is that I don't know how to add a class to the classpath of JDeveloper by following the instructions in section 33.2.1.4 of documentation. I added my class of JDeveloper classpath via falling a .jar in lib/ext of the JRE, but then had horrible addiction disorders.
  
  While walking in the documentation, I discovered example 33-1 and its surrounding documentation are obsolete, because getIDPrefix() is final in CustomizationClass and therefore cannot be overridden if the documentation States.
  
  I use JDeveloper Version 11.1.1.1.0 build JDEVADF_11.1.1.1.0_GENERIC_090421.1521.5361.

  I modified the "Message of connection" in the properties of the Application and put some JavaScript as well as the Message.

  I had to use the id of region R455645218512225484 and R8550713561097270 because they have not all the other attributes that I could use to hook. It might work correctly if you use apex.oracle.com (I guess that since the region id would be the same for all applications).

  You can use firebug (or any other web developer tool) or to inspect the HTML source code of the region and to identify the actual region id

• OfficeJet Pro 8730: Homescreen App customization

  I bought a Pro Officejet 8730 and implemented according to my needs and also to customize the applications on the home screen. The next day, when I turned it on, the customization disappeared and I'm more able to customize applications. When I press and hold on any application on the home screen, it is supposed to fade and then I should be able to move it. On the individual menus for scan, copy or fax, if I press and hold, the icon is supposed to fade and a bar is supposed to appear down to drag the icon, so that a shortcut is created on the home screen. Now, when I hold that this is anywhere, the icon fades but I am able to move on the home screen, or I am able to create a shortcut on the home screen of any of the individual menus.

  Contacted HP service but no resolution yet. Please tell us whether someone has faced a similar problem and how it was resolved. Thank you.

  This process starts unexpectedly in my task manager, takes about 13% of CPU and about 250 MB or memory. But it makes the fan on my VPCF119FX run strong.

  Just a tip: change the apps in the wheel of the preferred application works only with the original Launcher of Lenovo. If you have installed another Launcher, to return to the original Launcher to customize the applications of the wheel.

• Layer of extra customization in 11.1.1.8 Portal

  I'm working on seeded customizations MDS for some of the out-of-the-box taskflows for our WebCenter portal.

  It is a 11.1.1.8 (with BP 4) Portal (formerly spaces).

  Now I have some customizations I want to target a group of users, not for all users. But when I am the role of developer of personalization in JDeveloper I only seem to be able to use the site/webcenter layer and the value.

  Is it possible to add an additional layer of customization to a WebCenter Portal? And if so, how? 'webcenter"as the value of layer seems embedded in the WebCenter Portal Flow customization of Application tasks, without the possibility to change it, or did I miss something?

  It is irrelevant that taskflow or what implementation of the class of customization.

  Unfortunately, this is not supported in a 11.1.1.8 portal.

  IM wondering if it is possible to include any DPS created inside a custom App. content type with an application created by DPS App Builder, but with custom iOS App capabilities side.

  The intention is to allow two-way communication between the content of the DPS and the iOS app.

  Can someone tell me what are the different ways to customize these applications User Interfaces. For example, replace the Oracle logo with the logo of my business on the Web Conferencing Console, change the appearance (colors, CSS) etc.

  I like the new App, or like. Since the update I have to see 'Top Stories' & 'Stories of a trend' in the application which contains the subjects, I have absolutely no interest. This means rather than to have my nice in the media of photography, technology etc. etc. I now see Donald Trumps face and banal stories about people living with bears.

  To customize the application of news on your iPad and get rid of the stories or sources that you don't like, I suggest that you follow the steps below:
  

  Add a subject or a channel

  1. Tap Explore the bottom of the screen.
  2. Browse the categories, channels and topics that interest you.
  3. When you find a channel or a topic you want to add, click on .

  Looking for a specific topic or channel? Click the Search tab and enter what you are looking for. You can also add a topic or a channel, you are looking for to your Favorites. Just type in next to the search results.

  Remove a theme or a channel

  1. Go to your Favorites.
  2. Tap on edit.
  3. Type in the upper right corner of the string or the topic you want to delete.

  You can also cut a channel to avoid stories appear in your feed you.

  

  

  Love, save or share a story

  What version of windows is installed on your computer?

  Follow these steps to disable the Photo Manager.

  1 - click on the Windows "Start" button and select "Control Panel".

  2 - double click on the icon "Add / Remove Programs" If you are using Windows XP. If you use Windows Vista or Windows 7, click the "Uninstall a program" instead.

  3. Select the entry "Microsoft Office" and then click on the "Edit" button if you are using Windows XP. If you use Windows Vista or Windows 7, right click on "Microsoft Office" item and select "change".

  4 - Select "Add or remove features", then click on 'Next' or 'continue '. If you are using Office 2003, you must also check the box on the next screen titled 'Choose advanced customization of applications', then click 'next '.

  5 - double click on the item of "Office Tools".

  6 - click on the drop-down next to the article "Microsoft Office Picture Manager" menu and select "not available".

  7 - click on 'Update' If you use Office 2003. If you are using Office 2007 or later, click on "continue".

  8 - click on 'Close' once the uninstall is complete and restart the computer.

  I try to do aapplication in J2me technology, I use netbeans 6.5. .

  That my goal is to provide a good look and feel of the application. But according to me when I do an implementation of the form we donot get any graphics object, so we have no control over the appearance of the application.

  Now, I try to use SVGForms, but they also seems not to support a lot of phones. because when I do an SVGForm, and run the K530i it gives an error of application at installation time, but if I run the same pot in E51 forms gets displayed. I want to know the reason behind the problem

  I wanted to know if there is another way by which I can customize my application and run on devices like the Sony erricson, nokia, motorola... etc.
