Customize Invitations to events

Hello

I'm looking to help someone wishing to customize their invitations to events to include the users name. I looked around the email templates, but I do not see a field that would add each user name. Someone knows a way to customize the prompt and record the name of users?

Thank you

Marcus

Hi MFarrell,

Email template invitation event is customizable and you can include the user name in this model using the first name and family name run time field. To add this just runtime field change model of electronic mail and use the text component and edit this text xomponent where you will find all the available runtime fields. Select the field first name and family name and insert it.

Thank you

Little light at the end of the tunnel?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

can you collect debug voice ccapi inout & debugging ccsip GCE message and attach the logs here please?

your provider sends A Law G711 codec in the PROMPT message, but you have configured G711 U right in the dial-peers.

can you try to fix G711 has the right dial-peers and check out them? Also make sure you have TPMS in the MRGL applied to CUCM SIP Trunk.

  • Cisco Ip phone 3905 calls do not

We have 15 Cisco IP phone 3905 on a network with CUCME ver 9.1. Phones record fine and received number EXT. It has tone. But we can't write another post after dialing '1' the tone cut and nothing happens.

This problem has been posted here before. https://supportforums.Cisco.com/discussion/11651601/3905-issue-making-call

Except in my case, I only use 3905 and calls cannot take place. See my sh run and debug errors and debugging ccsip attached massages ccsip. Thanks for your help.

    Hello

In my view, that the call fails because the phone of 3905 Announces g729annexB codec. could you please try to configure "voice-class codec" or a "codec G711a/G711u' command under voice register pools 1-4 and check the behavior?

  • CUCM 8.6 > SIP Trunk > CUBE > SIP Trunk - ringtone / connected display Party

    Hi community support

When we get calls from an IP phone on a gateway H323 ISDN globalize us the number of models of translation so the display on the phone is the E164 number, for example + 442071234567. We want this even when the call is ringing / connected for us to use the view command no service additional h225 - prevent cid-update on the H323 gateway otherwise the alert screen is updated with the number of the corresponding when Dial peer ringtone and connected.

When we get calls from an IP on a CUBE phone to SIP the number is still globalized at E164 in models of translation however once we hear ringback the display on the phone IP poster "private." Can someone please advise if there is an equivalent in SIP to the command no service additional h225 - prevent cid--update.

These are the CUBE CCSIP debugging messages:

    Carl,

Understand why you are getting the private sector in State of ringtone will lead us to solve this problem much more efficiently.

If we look at the 183 Session progress sent to CUCM...

+++ See here this part called privay = full (meaning private)

    Envoy:
    SIP/2.0 183 during the Session
    Via: SIP/2.0/TCP 172.20.44.104:5060; branch = z9hG4bK3e5ecc3bcebb92

    Remote-Party-ID: <> [email protected]/ * / >; left = called; screen = yes; intimacy = full

Now that we know this, I would take a different approach to solve this rather than disable remote-party id in total...

    Here is my proposed solution...

    SIP-class voice profiles 3
    answer 183 sip remote-Party-ID header change "" "<>[email protected]"/ * / > ""

Then you must apply the sip profile at the foot of basketing od the call... IE cucm cubed

    Dial-peer telephony voip xxx
    profiles of sip voice-class 3

Now, when the appeal is as a ringtone, the full display will be + 44... What was initially called number.

  • VMware View Linked Clone pool - SID change of virtual machines

    Dear community

This morning I had the good idea to use instead of quickprep sysprep to change the SID for all virtual machines in the linked clone pools. Why? Because the customer didn't only VMs and use KMS to activate Office and Windows, therefore at least 50 different sid. Well, I created a file of OS customization invited for Windows (OS is Windows 7) in vCenter (which is connected to view admin) and I did:

    Target Machine Virutal OS: Windows

Use custom Sysprep answer file: No.

Name: The name of the file

    Owners name: xy

    Owner organization: xy

    Diabate

VM name: Use the virtual computer name

    ProductKey: Leave blank

    Admin password: play twice

    ZimeZone: GMT + 1

    Run once: no

    Network: Typical with DHCP

    Domain: Credentials client area incl.

Operating system options: create new SID

Finishing, went to view Admin has created a new and Cust comments. to Syprep (Filename). Blended at the pool and it worked very well until the generalization starts... it stucks at regional settings, when I restart the same. When I klick net he asks me for a computer name and a password.

    Well:

    (1) why is this block here? Yes there are still stuck because I was not able to specify a locale, or if it is not needed? Why he can pop up?

    (2) why he asks me for a computername? I told her to use an existing one.

    (3) why he asks me a password? I told her what to use.

Well I toigh ok Let's use an answwer sysprep file that I've included a second cost of comments. file (withi the guest also reset SID). Well it works greate except the designation: I said in the answer file to use the variable % computername %, which is certainly the name of the master, so VDI does not change this name...

    (1) the sysprep answer file the rightway anyway?

    (2) how do I get the new name out of sight for the VM for example VM001 instead of Master001

So let's see the unattend.xml file

If I check the comments cust. file without sysprep answer file I see there function which can crreate names for VMS as vim.virtualmachinenamegenerator (or something like that) is it possible to use sysprep as well? Well at the end, I just want to change the SID of the virtual machines each time they recompose is to have enough unique SID in the network! How do I need to do?

    Best regards

Duke is your main reason for the use of sysprep to work around the problem of SIDS?

We only use VDI on site for 700 + users and clients windows 7 and Office 2010 is activated through KMS.and we use quickprep because his headache free and easy.

I use the following to help with the problem of SIDS:

Manually to increase the number of KMS. Think Digital the application is clean.

Its very well explained in the link above.

  • How to invite people to an event calendar with the new iOS 10?

Before I updated to iOS of 10, I was able to create a calendar event with the apple iPhone built-in calendar and there is an option to 'invite' contacts him so they could add to their calendar. I can't find this option now after the new update. Where and how can I do this?

Invite others to an event. You can invite people to an event, even if you're not the one who, on demand with Exchange and some other servers. Press an event, press on modify, then on the guests. Type the names, or tap to select the people to contact. If you don't want to be notified when someone refuses a meeting, go to settings > calendar, then disable view guest declines.

  • How will I know if a future event I created was sent to those invited to attend a meeting?

First of all, how can I send the future event message because there is no button to press to send the event to participants - as the checkbox 'Notify participants' has been checked?
Secondly, no message appears not to say that the invitation has been sent?
Third, how can you ask for guests to answer if he is able to attend the meeting?

    Use of the lightning calendar.

    Thank you

There is no button to press to send the event to participants - as the checkbox 'Notify participants' has been checked?

This box will trigger the message of invitation to all participants when the event is logged.

No message appears to say that the invitation has been sent?

There is no dedicated notification, but you can check the "sent" folder.

How can you ask to respond if he is able to attend the meeting?

After your meeting invitation, it is up to the participants to accept or decline your invitation.
If an invitation has been accepted, you will receive a confirmation message.

  • Lightning: How can I permanently change the event organizer email address when he invited?

I have two email accounts with Thunderbird; one is the default account from which my emails are sent. However, when you attempt to send an invitation to the event through lightning, my secondary email is displayed in the field of the organizer and it cannot be changed.
Thank you, in advance, for all the answers.

Right click on the calendar in the left pane - properties
Change the e-mail address you like.

  • I use thunderbird in the New Zealand House and time zone settings, and when I invite people NZ for a new event it automatically creates a calendar for UTC entry

I bought my computer laptop to the United Kingdom and installed Thunderbird there initially, but remains in NZ and reset home location and time zone accordingly. However, when I send invites to an event it resets the invite calendar for the recipient to UTC/GMT. My record of entry and invite calendar still shows what I entered in, but not their end. And it's the same thing in reverse, they send me something for 15:00, I get like 03:00.

... to restore the original location and time zone accordingly.

Where exactly did you do that?

  • Invited guess receives not Gmail Cal event notification.

Hi all, I tried to search for it and don't quite have a simple answer to my question. I have a gmail account and use it to create all my calendar events. When I add my wife as a «who» in the case of field of creation, his correct gmail email returns, but it does not receive an invitation to the calendar event. But when I send the same event to our yahoo email, the email invitation shows immediately. What is happening with this? Are there settings or something that changes necessary? Thank you

Discovered only today, that when I create the calendar event and invite my wife when she was a gmail account, it automatically places the event in its calendar. (Without him making any type of notice).

  • Difference between different "trigger events" in the form of customization

    Hi Experts,

Can you get it someone please let me know precisely the difference between the various 'trigger events' (better with a simple example) in the form of customization in Oracle Apps?

    A TIME NEW FORM INSTANCE
    A TIME NEWS BLOCK INSTANCE
    A TIMES-NEWS-RECORD-INSTANCE
    ONCE - NEW - ITEM - INSTANCE
    WHEN-VALIDATE-RECORD
    1 by SPECIAL45

Mainly, I'm confuse when use A TIMES-NEWS-RECORD-INSTANCE, WHEN-VALIDATE-RECORD and A TIMES-NEWS-POINT-INSTANCE (it will be that it is very useful, if it is provided with a simple example to understand the difference between these 3)

    Thanks in advance,

    Bommi

    Hello

Once - new - form - Instance: this trigger is called just after form is called. If you can do what you need to do before the start of the form. Make sure that this trigger is called only when the form is opened.

WHEN-VALIDATE-RECORD: this trigger is called when the cursor is moved off the current record of the block specified to another record. This trigger can be very useful when trying to insert or update a record under certain costraints. If conditions are true to this trigger and form_trigger_failure will pass under the situation has no validation, recording is not saved. Thus, everything works fine.

Once - new - Record - Instance: this trigger is called when the cursor passes on a new record in the specified block. This trigger can be useful when it is necessary to set the computed value of an element at the level of each record.

A time new point Instance: this trigger is called when the subjects in the forms is entered.

    Hope this helps,
