Customize sort by option in windows 7

How to sort records in the days of the week? I mean, we have 5 folders named Mon, Mar, sea, game, Fri.  I need to get their records in order?

Could someone solution?

I don't think that there is a way to sort by day of the week.

Date would be pointless in this case because a day is not a date.

The only thing that might work is sorting by Date of creation,

Make a folder of all the days until you get to the last ;)

  • Two operating systems; Windows 7 Professional with an option of Windows 10

Two operating systems;  Windows 7 Professional with an option of Windows 10.

As a Neolithic Windows, I'm comfortable with Win 7 like all my old XP applications have continued to work with Win 7.  Now I want to try to get around the current Win 10 operating system through experience to see what Win 10 offers me in every sense of the use practable. I don't want to lose the existing installation of Win7 which works well, I think to a new PC.

I need a route which can accommodate my learning needs.  I'm open to suggestions that might involve touchscreen options to win 10 OS while keeping the mouse driven navigation for Win 7 applications.  Clues on a postcard!

10 dual-boot Windows, you will need to buy retail (it's only free if you use it to replace Windows 7, not to start the long side).

So first, buy an installation Windows 10 CD/USB stick to your favorite tech store and install it as a dual-boot option.

You will find that there is no dichotomy of the 'touch' vs 'mouse' use Windows 10.  You can use the mouse as you do today in Windows 7: there is literally not a single instance of a hidden mouse-gesture-operated menu, you need to know the secret movement to activate (unlike Windows 8, Windows 10 has been designed so that a user of Windows 7 could jump in without any training).

  • Where is the hyper Terminal option in Windows 7?

Hyper Terminal Server in windows 7 Pro

I'm not able to locate the hyper Terminal option under windows 7 Professional, please update on this issue.

Hi, hyperterminal is not available in Windows 7, it was also not available under vista. It is possible to run hyperterminal, although it is NOT officially supported. If you have a Windows XP CD, look for hypertrm.ex_ and hypertrm.dl_. Copy it to your hard drive. Extract them using a program (I recommend 7zip) and place them in the same directory. Run the .exe will allow you to use hyperterminal. You can also view this Web page. social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7programs/thread/938d4225-30cd-4db5-a0a0-bdeb9c439269

  • Get 3 option of windows 7 at startup, how do so only one option?

    Original title: windows

    as
    Windows 7
    Windows 7
    Windows 7
and then I'm neutrophilia 1 of them how to remove any other option 2... ??

    Hi John,.

If you have more than one operating system installed on your computer, you can choose the one that starts when you turn on your computer. More than one operating system installed on a computer is often called a multiboot configuration.

This can also occur due to any corrupted previous installation of Windows 7.

If you try to select only the operating system by default to start when you turn on or restart your computer, you can see and try the steps to set the default operating system.

You can also set the time of the display of the operating system from the list.

Change the default operating system for startup (multiboot)

Note: This article also applies to Windows 7.

If you do not use the other operating system, you can also try the following steps to remove the entry from the boot order and check:

Note: Make sure that you remove the unwanted entries in the Windows 7 operating systems. If you are not sure, then you need to start using different inputs and check.

    a. click Start , Start search box type msconfig and press ENTER.

    b. click on the Startup tab.

    c. you will see the number of operating systems installed, select the operating system you want to remove.

    d. now click on Remove.

    e. click apply and Ok

    f. restart the computer and check.

Hope the helps of information. Let us know if you need help with Windows related issues. We will be happy to help you.

  • I would like a more efficient sorting for organizing files, a similar to the options available via EXCEL. I want to sort the files from Windows 7 Desktop AND type update...

I would like to apply a more efficient to organize the display of files, a similar to the options available via EXCEL.  I want to sort the files of desktop Windows 7 by type AND update... looks like it would be a logical way to view the files.  Currently, I can do one or the other.  Sort by modified date provides a hodgepodge of file types, sort by type will not most recently changed... organize a hodgepodge of dates.  You wonder why I felt it necessary to ask this... seems to be a simple and logical option which would already be available.  Is it?  If so, how can we do this?

I don't know where you see all sort in excel. The file > open in excel procedure uses this same kind as provided by the Explorer (its Explorer discovers Documents)

The view in excel is obviously filtered to Excel docs.

You probably need to rethink your documents folders stratergy

  • How to customize the display of Windows Explorer to always be details and sort in descending for windows order save under and attach a file?

It is in this way for some applications such as Word and Excel, but not for others, such as Adobe Acrobat, Office Picture Manager and gmail. How can I get the attachment save as and file dialogs to always get to see the detail value?

I think that I thought about it!  Is there a way to have the Save As or tie with a particular view, but only developed dialog boxes for Windows programs. It doesn't seem to work with acrobat, google mail, etc.

In the dialog box after selecting Save as or Attach, modify display and sort columns as you wish. Then hold down the CTRL key while you leave the window. The next time you go into it should reflect what you put last. Don't ask me why this works, or why it only works with Microsoft products. I got this tip on another site.
  • No option "Customize" in the games in Windows 7 Explorer

In Vista, the folder games you need to right-click, and then select Customize to change the executable file. This feature has been removed from the 7 or has been moved or renamed? I use the modified exe or command line changes quite regularly (it of to say selection Dx9 or 10) I'm sure that a lot of players do, so remove this feature struck pretty much the whole point of the Games Explorer. Any chance it will be added later as a patch?

When you use windows Explorer to search for files I find things I named by date are sorted incorrectly.

      • To configure Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 to use the method used by Windows 2000 for sorting files and folders, in the value data box, type 1, and then click OK.
      • To configure the default Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 method for sorting files and folders, in the value data box, type 0, and then click OK.

Note When the NoStrCmpLogical value does not exist or it is set to 0 (zero), the Windows XP default sort order is used.

    7. Exit the registry editor and restart the computer.

You want the first option 6.
