  I have an Officejet Pro 8600 more network (using the wireless) all-in-One.

  If I fax directly from the printer (using scanning and fax), I receive a confirmation page.

  When I fax from my computer in a network (using the 'Fax - Hp Officejet Pro 8600 (network)' pilot), the status display shows 'composition', 'connection' and 'send '. However, no confirmation page is printed.

  Hi Planckster,

  A report by Fax of Confirmation is an available option when sending the device itself.

  When sending a fax from your PC, you can find the most recent history of fax by opening the HP software.

  Click on manage the Fax setting, and click Fax history.
  The screen list a report on the recent work of fax, a printed report is not an option for this task, however.

  Create the column through customization on the Page Std and the bean of the image, set the destination as URL:

• HP Officejet Pro 8500 A910 Premium will not send fax from computer with Windows 8

  My printer was working fine on Win XP and I could fax directly from the printer or the computer.  I installed 8 32-bit Windows (I am under an older system that works very well for everything that I use it for - thank you very much) and downloaded the latest driver for HP large & software for Win 8 32-bit.  Everything works perfectly, except for the computer fax.

  If I run the test of the printer fax, the fax test PASSES.  If I run the test fax from the computer, the fax test PASSES.

  If I put documents into the feeder of the printer and use the features of fax printer, it Fax beautifully.

  It's only when I fax from the computer, the screen appears with the status of the queue, then state turns to cancelled each time.

  He has always worked on Win XP.

  Another thing to note is that in Win8, you can easily access the command prompt by pressing the windows key and typing "command prompt".

When I try to send faxes - it gives a busy signal and says driver Please hang up and try your call again. I ran my test of fax and everything he says "SPENT," look all connections so good.

  When you want to fax digitized in Word documents or images, all you should have to do is to add what you want with a fax in the current document. If you scan a document in PDF format, you will need to copy the contents of the PDF file and paste them into Word. If you scan a document as an image such as JPG file, you will need to insert the image into the Word Document. Once you have the analysis in the document, simply print to the fax driver. To do this, make sure that the printer you have selected says Fax next to it and click on print. From there just follow the wizard. I hope that helps to explain a bit.

  First make sure you have the driver of Fax installed in devices and printers and then when you go to send a fax from the printing application make sure you designate fax HP Officejet 4500 G510 driver. When you tap on print you get the fax to the step 3 dialog box.

  

• OfficeJet 5740: Cannot fax from the computer

  My new Officejet 5740, purchased on 11/15/14, worked fine until February 2015 - no problem with any of its functions, including faxes.

  That was all the time I went from a wireless connection to a USB connection and since then out of faxes cannot be sent from the computer, even if they can be sent from the printer by using the LED screen. There is no problem with the incoming faxes.

  Sending the printer with the LED screen is a nuisance of errors compared to the convenience of use of the computer. Lengthy discussions with HP Technical Support have been of any help. The technicians seem to think I should just give up and use the LED screen on the printer.

  After trying in vain to send an outgoing fax using the computer, the Fax status window appears saying "queue... "as the status of the fax, and it never goes one further.

  Is it possible that my passage in wireless USB connection type caused the problem? Maybe I need a different driver? If Yes, where can I download one, and what should I go for? Thank you.

  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see that you are not able to send a fax from your HP Officejet 5740 computer, you can send a fax from the front panel.

  I think you just need to update the drivers and software, please proceed with the following steps:

  1. disconnect the USB key if you use a direct connection.

  2. remove the HP software JO 5740 uninstall from the control panel of your computers an option of the program.

  3. restart the computer.

  4. make sure that all them that software JO 5740 has disappeared from the list of programs, but also your HP folder listed under all programs in your Start Menu.

  5. now, go ahead and download the software and drivers for your JO 5740 (DO NOT connect USB until the software prompts you to):

  I believe you can simply create a new 9000 or 9700 theme of the same type (IE Zen, Custom, today) and then use the "File-> import" command and load in the 8900 theme file you created earlier.  Everything tends to be imported, but you will have to perhaps move some indicators and check for spacing.

  But if you still want to create to create your own page and pagelayout region. Take the seeded page from server to the local computer.

  Open both pages in Jdeveloper and copy the page of seed items to your custom page.

  Copy could lead to an error you need to identify and resolve.

  So, I just bought a new area 51 R2 (not upwards and turns yet, but I'll be sure to change my signature to the new machine in due course!) and need to restore my machine with a fresh install of W7 before I sell it on.

  My machine was purchased as a refurb almost new that I got from the selling company to install W7 to before they shipped it. I don't have a recovery partition or DVD (although even if I did, they would put Vista on), so I need to start from scratch. I have a W7 ISO and obviously valid an OEM key. This works because I had to do an excessive installation of W7 a few weeks ago that things started to go wrong.

  I remember correctly see the instructions here on how to re - install from scratch, who went into the details on how to add drivers and in what order, but I can't seem to find it.

  Can someone point my in the right direction? Thank you! :)

• HP LJ 500 MFP 525 receiving only 1-2 pages of a multi-page fax

  We recently bought a 525 MFP HP LaserJet 500 began to notice a problem where when receive a multiple page fax say 10 to 20 pages (we are a doctor's office) only receive 1 to 2 pages. We tried to set the option to receive faxes by default from fast to medium then slow, but nothing helped.

  We previously had a regular fax machine that had no problem receiving fax multiple pages.

  For the 525 that we kept everything by default no customization that is bjpg compression or something.

  Any ideas?

  It seems that we have a bad module Telec. We passed on the 525 with a 425 as a temporary test. All faxes received with success so it wasn't a line telephone or missed configuration (I realize there are options between 525 vs. 425). We had fitted out 525, with a new module of fax; all successfully received faxes.

  I downloaded the patch appropriate for my EBS version, downloaded to my pc the .dbc files and configured in the runtime connections.

  My custom page works OK deployed in EBS.

  My page is the responsibility of the system administrator so I configured

  I solved this problem changing Embedded OCJ4 preferences of localhost to my local network (im my case 172.29.11.100) IP addess
