Cut/copy and paste NOT working, NO malware and registry change only temporary in FF 18.0.2

I followed EACH suggested 'remedy' for FAILURE cut/copy - paste function in FF 18.0.2 without success and am entirely whereas FF UNINSTALL and go back to IE8. There are MANY features FF I love and want to keep it, but the simplest things become so frustrating...
SUCH as: 1) Clipboard worked ONLY SPORADIQUEMENT, no matter what I do, 2) why don't y at - there no history URL when you use the PRIVATE BROWSING so I can trace my own steps if necessary, press BACKSPACE or by clicking the arrow to the left. By pressing the arrow to the left ONLY goes a certain number of steps back and loses my point of departure, 3) why the EMPTY the CACHE NOT button erase the HISTORY. for example, I go to a website, say email Yahoo, do my thing and disconnect, and then click HOME, then clear the Cache and enter Yahoo email to a different e-mail account and Yahoo acknowledged my attempt and me in my email previous username. Shouldn't happen, in my opinion. No help here, NO running AV/malware detection/clean and remove registry entries since NONE OF THESE do something positive?

Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox and all the leftover program files and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps one by one:

  1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
  2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click Exit in the file menu or Firefox) and confirm all future messages.
  3. Now, uninstall Firefox by following the steps mentioned in the article to Uninstall Firefox .

IMPORTANT: Under Windows, the uninstall program has the option to remove your personal data and settings. Make sure that you have not check this option. If not all of your bookmarks, passwords, extensions, customizations and other Firefox data user profile will be removed from your computer.

After uninstalling Firefox on Windows, delete the folder of the program "Mozilla Firefox", located by default in one of the following locations:

  • (Windows 32-bit) C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
  • (On 64-bit Windows) C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
  1. Go to the Windows Start menu and click on 'computer '.
  2. In the Explorer window that opens, double-click on disk Local (c) to open the C:\ drive.
  3. Find the folder "Program Files (x 86)" or "Program Files".
    • On 32-bit Windows, double-click the Program Files folder to open it.
    • On 64-bit Windows, you'll see a folder "Program Files (x 86)" AND a "Program Files" folder. Open the Program Files (x 86) folder.
  4. You are looking for a folder of Mozilla Firefox . If you find one, right click and select delete and confirm that you want to move the folder to the trash.

Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:

  1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
  2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.

    Have you tried the three methods of cutting and pasting? Using the keyboard shortcuts CTRL-X CTRL-V, right click on the file and selecting cut, then using the tape from the file Explorer / File menu.

    If you have tried all three, the next thing to try is a boot minimum to see if something is in the background to block the order. A clean boot loads Windows with the drivers and the minimal software. This link of Support technique Microsoft will show you how do it.

    Once you have made the clean boot try three methods of cutting and pasting. If it works the next step is to go back to msconfig (see Microsoft link above) and enable half the services you shut-off valve to the clean boot. Then try to cut and paste again. Keep half of the remaining services that allows until you cannot cut and paste, then disable half of the services that you just active. This, until what specify you what service has problem.

    If after all that you still have a problem then the next step would be to backup your files on an external hard drive or a USB flash drive and then doing a complete System Recovery.

    Method 1:

    Check if your headphones are configured to be used as a Communication device by default instead of the default device, or if the two devices are configured by default. If so, that the fault of headphones, so that Windows will only use when they are connected.

    I'm unable to use my fax/copy/scan on the printer functions.  The printer works well when printing from the computer.  I've done all the troubleshooting... Disconnect, restart it (printer and computer), etc.  All the reports that I ran to the 'troubleshooting' return with all PASSES.  But when I re - try these functions, the printer display "starting fax" or "Start scan" and "start copy."  I've been here for the last 10 minutes trying to get a copy, and the screen is still showing "start copy".  And while they are 'begins', I am unable to 'x', so I put off the printer.  The printer is 2 years old and we bought the extended warranty expired 2 months ago thanks for any help you can provide.

    Printing and scanning functions are working properly, but the copy does not work.  He stopped abruptly.  I installed a new cartridge, nothing helps.  Also unplugged printer and wait 60 seconds before I plugged it again.  Still no copy.   Any suggestions are appreciated.

    Solved!  I discovered that the printing and scanning functions used the color cartridge that printed as a dark blue.  When I ran the copy function using the copy color button, it worked.  Guess I had a bad black cartridge.
