CyberLink DVD 2.0 and CD Burner Deluxe - software is no longer on my computer?

Hello, I bought last December 2010 a tower HP which includes 8 GB of RAM, 1 TB of memory, she understood 2.0 Cyberlink DVD and CD Burner Deluxe which was already part of my package of included software. I had used it once or twice and it worked fine, then for some reason any, it is more so on my computer? I was able to make up for it because the HP docking station includes features such as Burning CD and DVDs and stuff. I did not burn any for several months, but I've done several copies of a video that I made for a family celebration, several months ago. Now, I had to make another copy, and there is no option to burn the DVD even. Is anyway to download this software that I use to have somehow deleted from my system? Thank you.

Thank you!  In fact, I was able to call the GEEK SQUAD last night after you answered and they found the software hidden on my computer.  It's in a really weird file that I put it in.  I appreciate the advice!  Thank you.

  • CyberLink recovery disk utility: can not burn to disc when you try the recovery computer

    Hi all

Recently, my hard drive on my HP Pavilion p6674y was wiped out. I have a new hard drive installed in the computer. I created my own recovery DVDs when I bought the computer first. I started with the recovery discs and all was well until about 70% (on the 2 CD at this stage of 3) and then I got an error "0xe0ef000e.

I then did some research and have ordered the discs of recovery from HP and then saw that I must download and burn to disc recovery disks Cyberlink utility so that the discs work. I have serious problems this CD to burn. I followed the instructions and when it is to the burning time of the installation wizard CD does not burn. It says on the wizard I'm full and there is a 'yes' 'no' and the button "Cancel". When I hit Yes the computer I currently use just restarts. I then try the disc (even if I can say that it's always empty) in my Pavilion and the checkmark never comes to the top.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

    Help, please.

    Thank you

    Hello:

This utility is not absolutely necessary.

You only need if the HP recovery discs do not work on your new hard drive.

I tried to run the file on Windows 8 and it wrong, then I won't be able to help you with that.

While you wait for your drives HP recovery plant to arrive, you can make your own plain W7 installation media and use that to install W7, so at least you can use your PC.

Here is how to do this.  My only review of the instructions is not to activate W7, unless you want to. Just skip entered the product key from the COA Microsoft sticker on your PC case.

You have 30 days to use the program without activating it.

Link to downloads ISO of W7 is below. Download the Windows 7 version that is on your product (Home Premium, professional or ultimate) key to apply.  SP1 Refresh of media files are the latest ISO files.

    http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads/14709-Windows-7-Digital-River-direct-links-multiple-languag...

Use the installation of Windows 7 USB/DVD tool to compile the ISO file that you download from Digital River. The link below. You need a DVD or a 4 GB flash drive using the USB compilation method.

Use the product key of windows 7 of 25 characters to activate your installation.

    http://download.CNET.com/Windows-7-USB-DVD-download-tool/3000-18513_4-10972600.html

Then go to the support of the PC and driver page to install the drivers you need.

  • How to create a DVD with DVD Studio Pro and an external DVD burner?

    Hello

I am trying to create a DVD with DVD Studio Pro. My internal DVD drive no longer works. I have an external DVD burner - slim portable DVD writer. I create the project into DVD Studio Pro, and when in the program, it works fine when I "stimulate". Well, I can't burn it.  When I look for the external DVD writer in my finder, it is not and I don't know how or where to select the option so it is programmed to burn the external DVD writer. Any advice? Thank you have a great week.

I found a thread that has addressed this issue, but does not help me to solve my problem. Meg the dog was told this to her in question written by Scott Stark. I tried his solution of generation and format, but after pressing the burn a window appears saying "insert disc please insert acceptable DVD recordable media."  I tried to use another blank DVD, it did not help. I use Word for Word, I heard that those who are the best blank DVDs, you can buy. Thanks again for your time!

  • DVD of Satellite M70 of burning low speed

    Hello world

I bought my laptop a few months there, it's a Satellite M70 which has a stack * a UJ - 841S of speed which registration should be around 8 x, but I can't check greater than 1.2 X on DVD and 8 X on CD, it takes me 40 minutes to record a DVD, can someone help me?

Is there an update for this?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Diogo

The DVD writer is not the only factor that determines how fast the media must be written. I'm sure you know it depends on media itself and burning software too.

Have you tried to use DVD media to check the burn speed? I recommend you to use well known as TDK DVD producers. I use it for a long time with different burners and until now never had no problem and the speed of combustion was always declared on DVDs.

    Hi again,

Just a click on the windows start icon and click on "All programs" down.  Then just scroll down until you find the HP Recovery Manager folder (it could just be called Recovery Manager).  Click the folder, run Recovery Manager and look for the option to re - install the software.  The process should go as follows:

Start at , All programs , Recovery Manager , and then Recovery Manager . Allow the action to proceed, if you are prompted. The HP Recovery Manager opens.
  • What type of DVD should I buy to burn my Windows Movie Maker movie? Also, I have Windows DVD Maker, but no DVD burner. What should I buy?

I created a movie in Movie Maker.  I bought some DVD + r's - the correct burn the movie on?  Also, I don't have a burner, I thought that I did, I can only burn a CD what should I buy?  I don't have a Windows DVD authoring program.

    Hi rondah,.

Welcome to the Microsoft community newsgroups.

The type of recordable DVD, you need to use depends on your DVD burner, as well as on your DVD player. Some DVD burners can burn only to certain types of DVD recordable. For example, with some DVD burners, you can only record to DVD + R discs or DVD + RW or DVD-R or DVD - RW discs, while some other DVD burners will let you burn on all of these recordable DVD types.

As long as your DVD burner supports burning to these types of discs, you can use Windows DVD creation to burn a DVD using one of the following types of recordable and re-recordable DVD media: DVD + R, DVD + RW, DVD - R, DVD - RW, and DVD - ROM. These recordable or rewritable DVDs can be either simple single laminate or single sided double layer.

You should also consider the device you're using to play the DVD once you have engraved, if possible. Some DVD players and DVD - ROM drives play only certain types of DVD. To determine what types of DVDs your DVD player or DVD - ROM drive can play, see the documentation that came with your device or go to the manufacturer's Web site.
