By pressing the update from HP for Windows 8, the installation fails, but provides no information on the cause.

    If you were using Firefox 3.6. 4 or higher, a new preference has been added to the preferences of the proxy connection settings in tools > Options > Advanced Options > > tab network - connection = settings = use system proxy settings

    If you do not select no proxy and restart Firefox your problem should be solved.

    (I'm new to this forum and hopefully the below is enough for others to understand my problem)

    Since I have my Macbook Pro I have a huge problem for updating the software via the App store or by

    Download the files of the Apple update supports pages (for example osxupdcombo10.11.2.dmg).

    The ONLY way for me to update the software system is through resettlement (command-R during the boot process) of the

    system via the web, which i, in my case, a procedure of 5 hours each time.

    In the appstore, the need for updates is displayed, but when I click on the respective install button, the installation requirements

    are briefly "calculated" for 2-5 seconds, then the process stops without having to install anything.

    When I download the .dmg on the support page file, I can convert it to a .pkg file and start the installation. The process is running

    me through the entire list of subjects required to install (accept the terms, select the location to install etc etc) asks me to restart... but then

    nothing happens / past: the old version of the system continues to operate my MacBook. Using the procedure for re-Setup "command-R-Start-up.

    whenever I have slowly migrated to Yosemite to El Captain lion (now at 10.11.2), but it's certainly in the right way.

    I have been in contact with the local (German) Apple support hotline. They even have access to my computer to watch what I'm doing and how my problem

    If displays on the screen, however, could not help and promised to call back by the technician never happened.

    Recently, I was able to solve a problem of not being able to remove all the cards in 'Contacts' following a detailed recipe posted by Linc Davis in this forum.

    So I thought that Linc or someone else in the forum could help me with my problems of update.

    Please launch the Console application in one of the following ways:

    ☞ Enter the first letters of his name in a Spotlight search. Select from the results (it should be at the top).

  • Unable to update to the latest version

    Currently, I have the version 0.5.16.16 xD and love it!

    I noticed that there is an update which has posted September 26 (version 0.5.22). I checked the updates, and it says I have the latest version.

    However, it doesn't have the new features listed (control lock ratio, zoom on selection, preview live on devices).

    Is there anything I can do to force and up-to-date? Any thoughts?

    I uninstalled XD my computer (the first time I kept the preferences) and when he returned, I always said 5.16.16. The update came across an error.

    So I uninstalled for the second time, this time by deleting the saved preferences. After the re - install he did come up with a new version automatically (0.5.22.8). I was ok with screw up my preferences saved, but I can't say the same for others.

    about who it has installed, our IT has installed the first version. I'm not familiar with the way they did (logged as admin, then installed for my vs user logged in as me and installed for me).  They have also installed other CC apps like photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Dreamweaver. I'll keep an eye now for these last and let you know if I have similar problems (certainly don't want to trash the preferences)

    Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I read your thread on your HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15-b045el and replacing your BrightView screen. Here is a link to manual page 27 The only part of HP is 35.6 cm (15.6-inch), HD, WLED, SVA BrightView display panel 701688-001, so I have to say, it won't work. If it has third party screens, you will need to check that online.

  • iOS 10: unable to update the applications due to Conditions General timeout

    I updated my iPhone 6s to iOS 10 a couple of days and now seem to be unable to update applications. The issue seems to stem from a prompt to read and accept the new "Apple Media Services terms and Conditions." When I click the button to proceed with conditions, a new empty window appears and then things churning just until the request times out (see photos). The same thing happens when I click on "View the apple ID" in the app store or through settings, even if in this case the terms guest does not appear and it charges only up to the time limit. It seems to me that the problem lies in the redirection of the terms of apple. Anyone who has experienced this since the update or does anyone have advice?

    I already tried things:

    -force settings, closed and app store

    -restart the phone

    -disconnected and signed apple ID (this feature works in the app store and the parameters)

    -tested 'show apple ID them' on the phone to my wife (6 s on the same wifi network), successful but the phone still is iOS 9

    -tested "show the apple ID" via iTunes with my macbook, successful and I seem not to be invited to accept the new conditions

    The issue seems to have resolved itself. The terms and conditions page is loaded and now updates are allowed. Just a temporary problem, I guess.

    Do you have other copies of the application on another partition or drive? If this isn't the case, move the application to the trash and try to download it again.

    I bought this iPhone 6 + about 4 weeks ago, today, I saw that there was an iOS updated 9.3.3. I was able to update my iPhone to work 5 sec, but not my iPhone6 +. I don't have a phone to jailbreak and current iOS is 9.3.2.  I googled the question and I tried these:

    1. You can try to update your software via iTunes. Your software update may fix this problem.

    2 settings > Wi - Fi and turn off Wi - Fi, and then click New.

    3. restart your iOS device.

    4 reset network by tapping settings settings > general > reset > reset network settings.

    5. change your DNS settings. To do this, simply tap Settings > Wi - Fi, then tap the blue arrow next to your existing Wi - Fi network. Press the 'DNS' field and enter the DNS servers; 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4 (Google Public DNS). After that, try a software update.

    I tried these that none worked.

    • I restarted my mac a few times

    • I can ping swscan.apple.com and she is resolved to 17.164.1.22 which is the same IP that also resolves the mac next to me (which gets the update)
    • I cannot telnet on port 443 to swscan.apple.com and it connects.
    • I have a mac in yosemite next to me who can see the updates so I suspect that doesn't pose any problems with the service itself rather something on why machine.
    • I started in safe mode, and while in safe mode, I get the same error.

    I am at a complete loss what to do next short of wiping and restore from a time machine backup, can anyone help please

    You can try to disable the Sophos websheild and ClamXav if she has one. Even better would be to uninstall both and test.

    FWIW, it is never a good idea to have 2 av programs installed.
