Update of the screen HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15

Hi all, I have a Hp Pavilion Sleekbook 15 b-045el

This device has a TN BrightView 1366 x 768 screen, I wanted to know if its possible to improve it by using for example:

15.6 touchscreen "1366 x 768 of the Touchsmart from Hp Pavilion Sleekbook 15

The connector is compatible? I will earn touch capabilities?

Or for example a 1600 x 900 15.6 "display from another HP laptop? (I know FullHD needs pins too so that it will not work)

Thanks in advance for the help

Hi 89luca89,

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I read your thread on your HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15-b045el and replacing your BrightView screen. Here is a link to manual page 27 The only part of HP is 35.6 cm (15.6-inch), HD, WLED, SVA BrightView display panel 701688-001, so I have to say, it won't work. If it has third party screens, you will need to check that online.

Thank you.

    Hello

    I need to replace the screen on my laptop. I cracked it and two or so inches on the right side are all white with a few colored lines from top to bottom, with the exception of a few places where it is only black.

    Can someone tell me what kind of screen, I need? There is a little that I found on Amazon, but I don't know if any screen for a g6 Pavilion would be compatible.

  • Update of the screen below Newbie Question

    Hello friends and family,.

    I have a screen that displays a list of contacts with one button simple add to create a new contact. When the user clicks the Add button, and a user enters all required fields their infromation is sent to a Web server and stored. The screen is out and you are returned to the list of contacts screen. The problem is that the list is not updated with the last added contact.

    Where I should be referring to invalidate to get the contact list screen painted?

    May I suggest two perhaps simpler solutions.

    (1) onExposed()

    You don't need to update your screen until control is returned to it.  In this case, the treatment will call your onExposed() method.  When is invoked, you can check something to see if you need to update your user interface and if so, to rebuild.

    onExposed() is quite often called, so you need them to make sure that you update only if you need to filter.  For example, if you go into a detail in "view" mode screen, you do not, but if you go into edit mode, then the displayed data can be updated, so you may need to refresh your screen.

    (2) pushModal

    I do not use it because it uses one of the number of Threads each application has, but if you use pushModal, so you know when control is returned to you will have to update your user interface.

    Just a thought.  Could be useful...

  • Update of the screen, threading and synchronization

    I have a game I developed that uses multiple threads to process. The game does not focus on the user by itself and seems to be accelerating when there are more items on the screen and slows down when there is less. I have four threads in use. Three of them are used to update the main (UI) thread and run continuously; two update a class watch stop custom, and the third simply disabled the screen to force a refresh. All three of the threads use locks objects synchronized; That's why I think it slows down when nothing is on the screen, because they constantly block. I do not have variables that are constantly updated by the thread and read survival gear each iteration; which I was I use locks. I use the IDE 4.7 and the simulator of the storm. Profiling code over a minute 3 period shows that almost 60% of the execution time is during one of the locked rows (block I'm of course). I was wondering what I should use locks because only the UI thread updates one of the three? If so, is there a better way. Code can be provided if necessary.

  • computer does not work properly after the update, because the screen is black.

    Advice please! :-(

    After an update there about 2 months, my computer has never worked properly after that I turned it back. My windows start page is longer there. My screen is black. The words are only in white and fluorescent yellow...

    The only way I can go online to find Norton (is always at the bottom of the black screen) and go to help. I can get a search bar like that. Almost as if this black screen hides everything below.  Computer is 13 months old.

    My internet provider says it isn't them. Gateway said it's not my computer so idk what happened after this update.

    Any advice would be so appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hi Patty,.

    Welcome to the Microsoft community. I would be grateful if you can answer these questions.

    1. You have installed the latest drivers for Windows 8?
    2. What is the model number for Gateway computer?

    If you get a black screen after upgrade to Windows 8, it might be due to an outdated or incompatible graphics card driver. Update to the latest version of the display driver should fix this.

    Try to remove all external devices connected to the computer and then try to start the computer and check if it works. Follow these methods and check if that helps:

    Method 1: To resolve this problem, update the Gateway website. video card driver

    Step 1: Check out these Microsoft items for additional reference:

    Download and install the drivers

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows-8/all-drivers

    Step 2: If you are not able to find drivers for Windows 8 to HP support. Try to install the graphics drivers in compatibility mode and check:

    Download your applications and devices in Windows 8.1

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows-8/get-apps-devices-working

    If the problem persists, proceed to the next method.

    Method 2: I suggest to follow the suggestions provided in this Microsoft KB article and check if this can help:

    Windows 8 starts with a blank screen after a standard or hibernation

  • The PC HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15: Blurred and static Audio after update of Windows 10

    I was using Windows 10 quite a few months now with no problems. My sound has been clear until this morning when my computer automatically updated itself. After the update, I noticed that my sound (which worked perfectly fine before the update) was blurred and subdued, with a noise static when the music I listened to hit a higher mark. This had not happened before. Not until I've updated. So far, I checked to see if I need to update something new for my audio device in Device Manager, but I was told that everything is up to date.

    Previously, a few years ago I had a similar problem when updating from Windows 8, but rather my audio is completely out. Waiting to see if something like that happen again. I'm not sure what to do on my audio now, but I'm afraid to uninstall my sound card where I can bring him back despite says he's coming back. In addition, I don't know what to do for my specific product. I've read that many others have had similar problems, so if someone could help me I would be very grateful.

    Thank you in advance.

  • Update of the screen

    Hello

    I have two screens... screen1 and screen2.

    in screen1, I have a BasicEditField t1. by clicking on a button in screen1 I press control of screen1 to screen2.

    now, I've run a few screen2 logicin and now I want to set a value for BasicEditField which is in screen1 and I want to close this screen.

    I want to see the update in BasicEditField value.

    Please let me know how can I update the BasicEditField in anotherScreen...

    Thanks in advance

    Pass your first screen (dirty) object or a similar interface (cleaner) to your second monitor and implement a public method that you can call in your second screen.

    for example (without interface):
    in screen1
    {} public void update (String text)
    basicEditField.setText (text);
    }
    pushScreen (new Screen2 (screen1));
    in screen2
    Screen1. Update ("NewText");

    I reinstalled the latest graphics driver, the latest version of the BIOS and I still cannot adjust the brightness of the screens (screen).

    The indicator appears but is grey.

    Thanks for any help, Paul

    Update on the screen brightness controls; went into the BIOS and reset on off action keys.

    Restarted and there was no change.

    I then uninstalled the drivers for the monitor and rebooted and the brightness setting now works again.

  • A matter of design about the update of a screen of classes different all in now the lock of the event.

    I have a screen:

    • A class that extends the screen

    I have three Classes that contain a call to a database that returns records of ~ 50 that I fill a ListField with. The ListField is added to a different Manager according to the class

    1. A class that contains a VerticalFieldManager
    2. A class that contains a HorizontalFieldManager
    3. Another class that contains a HorizontalFieldManager

    Once I complete the list and add what it the respective Manager, how can I add the Manager of one of the three classes of the class that extends the screen when I lock the event?

    Is it a bad design?

    There is a lot of code that will fill the lists, so I thought that using separate classes would be the way to go.

    I guess I can't understand how to add the handler to the class that extends the screen.

    If it is a bad design, which is a good approach?

    Yes, it should work. A couple of optimizations:

    (1) you don't have to check the isForeground() - even if your application is currently in the background, you want the user to see an update of the screen once it is implemented, not you?

    (2) you already have myScreen as the reference on the active screen - use instead of run this getActiveScreen() second time:

    myScreen.replace (oldVfm, value);

    I guess you can mark this as resolved issue.

  • Images on the screen in the list update only after scrolling to the rank of the list instead of updating automatically after each image is uploaded (delayed image loading)

    1. I started a lazy image loader to download images in drawListRow and passed the url of the image to download reference.

    2. After downloading the respective bitmap in the lazy image loader, I cancelled the list (called by using a reference to the screen where images are to shoot) using a thread event as follows:

        UiApplication.getUiApplication().invokeLater(new Runnable() {
                public void run() {
                    _list.invalidate();
                }
            });

    But my images are updated on the screen until I scroll over the line in the list.  I also tried to use _list.invalidate (index) to invalidate each line once the image is drawn to this particular line, but it does work and does the same thing as _list.invalidate ().

    I want the images to be updated without scrolling, and as soon as they are downloaded. How do I get there?

    Valuable contributions will be highly appreciated.

    UiApplication.getUiApplication () .invokeLater (new Runnable() {public void run() {_list.invalidate ();})            }        });

    use invokeAndWait instead of invokeLater and check if it works or not?

  • Update on the fly screen

    Hi all - need some advice if please as does not work how to do this. Have an application built using BB SDK 5, which has several screens, even if you don't need to go beyond the first screen - it contains just tests options. Fact on this first main screen, I have a check box that is bound to a boolean object in a persistent storage.

    This storage of persistent object can be updated through various other screens and a listener SMS accepting incoming SMS messages and running orders based on these messages. However, I find that if I make a change and then say with the BB back button to view my original screen, the value is not translated. As the screen is not jumped to any point of sound as well as the values have been implemented cache or not reread about Summers to update.

    So the question is, is there a way to force a screen to refresh without knowing where it is on the stack, although it will be the first or the last because of how the application works and depnding or not having passed the first screen or not? Also take the scenario of the app displaying the main screen and an SMS comes to tell him to update this persistent storage related to the CheckBox object, the same question applies - is it possible to update the screen if the user only has the screen open on time? Bravo for assistance.

    Have you tried the override of the method onExposed to screen? This would at least give you the opportunity to update the items on the screen each time the new screen focus. Don't know if it would work for when you receive an SMS while on this screen, however.

    You can assign the SMS listener also force an update of the screen if it's in the display battery (isDisplayed).
