  It turns out that Microsoft has disabled this feature in IE9. There are two alternatives that I used:

  Use the feature of IE 8

  (1) in the IE Tools menu, click on F12 developer tools.

  (2) click on browser Mode: IE9 and now you can choose to IE8

  (3) now you can click on the right as you did before.

  Bing desktop application

  (1) use the Bing Desktop app, with "do the homepage every day your wallpaper image" checked.

  (2) then right click on the desktop, select personalize and click on wallpaper at the bottom left.

  (3) Control Panel will show you where the image is stored. I copy in a new folder, rename, reset my background there. Now I can use this image for as long as I like.

  (4) be sure to uncheck the option of Bing Desktop app.

  Whenever I see a new image that I like, I repeat. I now have a number of recorded images.

  You can still use Firefox.

  Hi, I had the same problem, after playing with him for a while, I found that in the 'customize' under 'Settings PC' if I (with mat mouse/mouse) right click on one of the photos shown as recent choices just above the Browse, an option will appear to "Return to default values", it worked for me...

  I think that you don't understand the original question. I would try to explain once again.

  It is not any display or display the wallpaper from Bing daily.

  Windows 8.1 (PC, workstation, laptop), you have the option to install Bing Office - for example - and have the daily Bing Wallpaper applied automatically, every day at your office (and the Startscreen if you choose).

  It's a shame, Bing / MS does not provide this functionality out of the box (or more).

• Major problems in scanning with c410a all-in-one...

  In courses run a Windows 8.1 high-end desktop system with a huge amount of memory and have experienced a tremendous amount of problems printing & scanning with my c410a. I have run the maintenance on this pc daily cleaning Cache, Virus scan, all and then some, the PC is a horse race except for printing and scanning...

  This Scanner/printer works very slowly, more slowly, and then it did on my old XP system for 10 years.

  Sometimes in the middle of the analysis, it stops and freezes by me to close the centre of solutions through the Manager of task or at best its not scan more then 2 or 3 elements software b4 of the scanner hangs. I tried everything in the forums I've seen, unplug the power cord of the c410a, restart, etc... Everything that...

  I ran the "HP Print and Scan Doctor" and sometimes it seems to work, allowing me to sweep slowly a point or two b4 it crashes again. Howeverwhen running the Scan Doctor it especially crashes when it gets to the part "scan Windows wia" of its efforts. These poor printing and scanning capabilities on the PC or faster (a factor) that I've ever used is unacceptable.

Although I just bought a laptop $1100.00 at HP with a support package for Smartfriend Tech that I don't try to use it for this problem because this c410 is on my desk which is not an HP.  Just for the record I never got my HP HP mini work said they could fix it by phone, but wanted at least $60.00 $ to do. I never had luck with my HP stuff, but I hope that this will not be the case with my new HP laptop... I had heard that HP had better...

  The problem with my c410a seems to be resolved and I can make the dpi / send changes in 10 seconds approximately. Slow but manageable compared to the 3-30 minutes, he took earlier today.  How I solved it on my own without ANY HP

• How to make a manual backup, so I have redunant copying my files

  In addition to the tool to try it, I forgot to mention that Windows Live Sync app keeps files in constant sync, so if a file is changed, it will distribute the latest version of all locations synchronized.  But if a file does not change, it will not re-synchronized.

  However, there is another tool that is a bit more customizable and can be run on command (there's even a command line command so you can put it in a batch file or scheduled task).  It's Microsoft SyncToy.  Here are some resources that might interest you:

  Run your anti-virus software, then download and run Malwarebytes Anti-malware program. Delete everything they find.

  Re-post if they find something, but the problem comes back.

• Bing weather ongoing tab shows various forecasts that the hourly and daily tabs

  Hi, I have this problem with Bing Weather app on the PC and the phone. The current tab and the live tile display a forecast wrong, different than on the hourly and daily tabs. I love the accuracy of forecasts on the hourly tabs and daily, but too bad the tile direct and current indicate a different forecast.

  Please see the attached screenshots for better understaning.

  

  

  It seems that the current tab and live tile display forecasts for a different location. Also, it seems that the daily and hourly tabs/sections read prediction from a different source (the good one) than the current tab... Is it so?

  Is there a solutution for this annoying problem?

  Thank you for your response. I apologize for coming back to you so late; I did not check on the subject for weeks, I hope just additional responses.

  First of all, I would like to repeat what I said in the original post: the issue discussed here was happening on the PC and smartphone. It would have been an unlikely coincidence for the app Bing can be divided on both sides. This lead me to the hypothesis that the issue is not with the application itself, but with the station that the application uses to get current weather conditions for my location. I said more than once with my responses to this subject, but no one seems to consider this theory.

  It came out that I was right: without doing anything on my PC or my smartphone, the Bing app has started the same day (a few weeks) to display specific weather conditions on the current tab, on the PC and smartphone.

  I does no troubleshooting or installation.

  The weather Chanel site (which I knew Bing used to get weather for my location) always displays these erroneous weather (fog and 3 ° c when there are currently 23 ° C and on a clear day). This proves that I was mistaken with my hypothesis that the Bing weather application uses this site as a source for the latest data on the tab. Or, it is possible that she was using this site until 2 weeks ago...

• Given that I switched from Internet Explorer, Firefox, the daily Celeb link I am always visted show is more images / photos. Can't understand why.

  Not sure about the connection, but when I install bing desktop on my system vista (32 bit) it seems to turn all black background - covering the picture.

  I don't know how this is related, but I killed the process "explorer.exe" and now I can see the image - I then restart the explorer.exe, it goes all black and covers the image bing has implemented

  Any suggestions on how to have vista and office of bing coexist?

  Hello - It seems that the problem was with bginfo (sysinternals) - the bginfo way has been configured that his background covers the image. Once this has been fixed, the image appears now
