  I have dalsa spyder3 line-scan Camera, GigE, who says it's scanning line 36KHz device. But when I run this camera at the maximum rate of the line in labview and display data using a while loop, I do not reach the specified line 36KHz rate. To capture all frames that I have to use a capture card or there is a way to achieve this rate of line using another technique in labview. Please help to in the present.

  Hi Charles,

  I realize that this is a line scan camera. However, the Spyder3 has the ability to buffer multiple lines in a single image. It is also highly critical of GigE Vision because there is a certain amount of load image by image, which would be very important to the rates that you will. By default the camera should give you more than one line per image - you should have manually configure for a smaller amount.  If you have configured to do one line per image, then it is likely that you drop frames in the acquisition or in your processing loop - two would probably have to follow with 36Khz rates. However, if you get a hundred or a thousand lines per image, then the load becomes trivial and you should have no problem to reach your desired line frequency.

  I develop a GigE Vision camera.

  I want to connect GigE Vision Camera to NIMAX.

  When you first connect GigE Vision camera, I can see the NOR-IMAQdx list devices. ("cam0:mycamera")

  When I click on "cam0:mycamera", a the IMAQ error has occurred.

  Error message is "cannot load the XML of the camera.

  Attached file is the package that was the problem.

  MAX OR send command "Read memory" to retrieve the device XML configuration file.

  (Package no. 11, 13: address 0x200, 0 x 400 memory read command)

  GigE Vision camera send response.

  (No. 12, 14 package: XML URL first choice, second choice of URL)

  I think the number of package 12 and 14 are erroneous data, but I can't find the point of evil.

  These questions can be better adapted to the Committee mailing list GigE Vision standard, I suppose that your company would be a member to develop a device with the GigE Vision standard.

  However, I take a look at your track of package and I don't see anything that looks obviously incorrect. One of the reasons why the software could stop after reading the two URLS, is that he thinks he has already downloaded the file previously. These are cached in a directory on your local system (usually C:\Users\Public\Documents\National Instruments\NI-IMAQdx\Data\XML on Vista and Windows 7). Check if you have the XML file for your camera.

  The error you get usually indicates GenICam has some difficulty in parsing the XML of your camera. If you join the XML itself, I could see if this is the problem.

  You can just use AIR 2.6 without any problem. It isn't really much of a difference from the point of view API between 2.6 and 2.7.

  If you really want to use 2.7 you need to overlay the AIR SDK 2.7 on your SDK 4.5.1.

  What version do you use? If your using obie10g add just "everyone" just add another required roles.

  Go to settings-> directors-> Manage privileges-> "answers".
  Here you can see - 'Save content with HTML markup' next to it, you will see "presentation server administrators.
  Click on it and change for all a required user or group or role, or 'BIConsumers' just add and test
  And save the changes.

  If its not affect please restarts the BI Services now, you can add the content and it will not error messages appear
  (FYI: for testing add the BI Administrator role)

I need avoid recording of variation when this validator fails. I know there is a way to block navigation on an element using clientListener and javascript, but it's a different need because I don't want the user to change the recording while the validator fails.

  When you change a line, it is the currentRow on the iterator. You do not want any line to become the currentRow.
  I would go to this topic, in this way: substitute the selectionListener table and the listener to custom selection, check if the current currentRow (the one you are editing) isValid (EntityImpl::isValid).
  Proceed with the treatment of the selection event only if it is validated... You could even show an error or a warning message asking the user to provide valid data and even commit the line before choosing another.

  I am facing a problem with the webcam in my Toshiba Satellite P750-114. The laptop is less than two months the webcam was working fine, then all of a sudden it stopped working. The error message is "Web camera initialization failed. Please check your device and restart the application or computer. The Microphone works well, since it is linked to the web camera device. The operating system is Windows 7 64 bit. It seems that the operating system does not see that there is a webcam more. I tried the following things:

  1. I uninstalled the web camera driver, downloaded the latest driver from Toshiba Web site (the link is http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/jsp/supportMyProduct.do?service=UK) and installed, but it did not work.
  2 - I have restored the original for the laptop settings, but still the webcam does not work.

  Two ways that I use to test the web camera: the Skype and Start/Toshiba/Utilities ' Web Camera Application"

  Please if anyone has an idea on how to solve this problem, the laptop is band again and it is fantastic, but this problem is annoying. I searched the Internet for similar problems, some Toshiba models suffer from this problem but not P750-114.
