Damaged Folio Builder update

I'm having trouble installing the Folio building update. The message says 'Install' is too bad and cannot be opened. You must eject the disk image.

    I was intending to assemble and export an application of development this weekend, but I see a folio builder panel update scheduled for next Monday, 17 September. Is this OK for me mount and export a .folio this weekend or should I hold off until after the update from Monday? (IE debugs it in Monday update will apply to folios that already exist in the generator of folio?)

  • Folio Builder update location a secret?

    I have users coming in this morning to see a guest again in Folio InDesign CS6 generator window, asking them to install an update, but do not provide a link to it. The message says they are selecting updates from the Help menu, but when we do this, Adobe Application Manager reports "your applications are all up to date.

    Now, I get a little tired of running with a USB. Could someone at Adobe, please put it out 24 day somewhere easily discoverable by end users?

    We have a mechanism with two heads to release modifications based on the availability of an upgrade Panel in the filing of the Application Manager. When our panel Installer is available in the repository, the mail Panel points the user to the menu help/updates. When it is not the case, there is a link in the Panel that points the user to online downloads.

    There is also a bug for users who have installed versions preliminary Panel during the beta CS6. For users, unless they completely UN - and reinstall InDesign CS6 and its plug-ins, they are going to get some confused Messaging. This bug was disclosed at the end of the beta and is a big part of the reason why we advise users to avoid installing experimental beta/pre-new edition builds on production equipment.

    Whenever there is confusion around the latest version and its availability, links are always displayed on the Welcome screen. Look for the links under "UPDATE" on the left side of the screen after connecting to https://digitalpublishing.acrobat.com.

    Is it possible to easily know which items in a Folio was last updated? It would be good if generator Folio worked as the palette links and you had a little warning next items that need local copies up-to-date.

    I have always been frustrated by that and just if I ask in case that I've missed something that I A would save a LOT of time.

  • Problem connection Folio Builder - update required

    I had the following problem

    I am a user who has an account creative cloud currently active and functional.

    I'm working on a folio DPS for a magazine with indesign CS6 Ipad.

    I have created my new Folio and added the first 2 articles correctly.  I have problems of connection in the CONSTRUCTOR of FOLIO because when I insert my adobe account information it connects but says:
    "A software update is required to use Digital Publishing Suite. Please go to the Help menu and select updates to get the necessary software. »

    The fact is, in fact, I have all the updated software up to date... If I sucked through the HELP MENU as requested it tells me that no updates are available... and I have the same answer also via Adobe Application Manager.

    At the moment I have the DPS VERSION 12.4.2.20121112_m_705220 8.0.9.24

    Someone knows how can I fix the problem and log the tthrough CONSTRUCTOR?

    PS if I sign in on www.digitalpublishing.acrobat.com with the same data I have no problem at all and I can see also from the first Folio, I did to test the months there is almost...

  • Folio Builder update fail

    Dear users of the Forum,

    When I open FolioBuilder inside of InDesign CS6, I get a message saying that I need to update. I click and go to this link:

    But, when I try to install the update, I get a message saying "this update does apply to you," in Portuguese.

    What can I do? InDesign CS6 uninstall and install again?

  • Cannot download the update of Folio Builder 2.05.1

    Folio Builder says I must upgrade to a newer version, but it is impossible to download: he crawls for (if I'm lucky) half an hour before stopping, after you download only between 2 and 15 MB of file 68 MB expected. I cleaned the browser cache, etc. etc. etc. and have tried downloading about 10 times now.

    I understand not ago a few due server downtime on Saturday night. However, it is now 10:41 Sunday to the United Kingdom (02:41 PST Sunday), and I've actually been locked out of my folio in the cloud because I download and install a Folio Builder update that cannot be downloaded. According to Acrobat health, there is no problem.

    Could someone please fix that, or if Adobe cannot host the new Folio Builder for download, at least allow me to use the old Folio Builder in the meantime.

    Recently, I launched my Folio Builder Panel and signed. I was told that I need to install an update. I followed the link and downloaded the update. When I open the installer, I received this message: "Installer.app" is damaged and cannot be opened. You must eject the disk image. 'Install.app' is on the disk image "FolioPanel-CS55 - 12.2.3.dmg.     I tried to install also the Folio Builder tools but also got the same message.

    I work on a Mac OSX and recently updated for Mountain Lion. What is the question? If so, how can I solve?

  • Problem updating articles in the Folio Builder Panel

    I'm trying to update the items in the Folio Builder Panel in InDesign CS6 and I get the following error message: happy build error. Could not open the file. Please confirm the file can be opened in the current version of InDesign. The only option it gives me is to cancel the update. I've only worked in CS6, and I've updated these same items previously. I just get a new upgraded computer here at work, updated to OS 10.8.2 and works on an iMac. I had to have my tech staff to reinstall DPS for CS6 desktop tools. Is there something else I'm missing or not do? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

    My problem has been resolved with the help of technical support Adobe. Here is the solution:

    Many times there are volumes network came up with the name "users." This can lead to confusion between the local path:

    / Users

    and the network path:

    / Volumes/users

    1. in the Finder, select the menu command Finder > Preferences.

    2. in the general Panel, check the option "connected servers" is selected under the heading "show these items on the desktop:", then close the Preferences dialog box.

    3. choose the menu command Finder > hide others.

    4. close all open Finder Windows to ensure that you can see all the items on your desktop.

    5. If you find what appears to be a volume mounted with the 'users' name, control + click on its icon, then choose the context menu command Eject "users."

    6. Add or update your article (s).

    The reason for this problem did not come on my old machine, it was my drive of the user has not been configured correctly by an official old tech at my company (I wasn't aware of because I had no problem). Then I got my new iMac and all my servers were mapped correctly, and then I came across this problem.

    I recently downloaded the English version of InDesign to Adobe Creative cloud. I created an article. I opened the folio Builder. The software update required popped up. I've updated the software required. When I tried to use the folio subsequently generator, the same message of the icon appears. What can I do to solve the problem?

  • Several update is no longer available in Folio Builder

    I've just updated to the new Folio Builder. I found the old man a frustrating that you cannot select several items to update, but at least one article was loading I could start the following. But now I can not do same. I have to sit and wait, watching for when each article updates to start the next. I have many items and some are great. This process now takes forever. I'm not impressed. Is there any work around several updates of the article?

    It was indeed an intentional change. Simultaneous downloads within one account caused corrupted documents. We are unable to provide this functionality because of the risk inherent in the content.

    I think that the suggestion of user interface provide multiple selection-action article is very thin. I'll drop it and take credit for it myself (I'm kidding). It would be certainly worth investigating.
