DAQmx task does not
Problem Description :Hardware: PXI-8184 (chassis PXI-1042), PXI-6221 (slot 2 in chassis)Software: LV RT 8.5.1, DAQmx 8.7.1 (see MAX.jpg)Problem: Task does not function within program (CounterRead.jpg). I can run the task within MAX (MAX.jpg) while the program is running and I can see the counts. All other tasks work fine. I have eliminated everything else in myprogram except this task and it still doesn't function and I get no errors. Also tried putting the task directly in the main program to no avail. I've tried different types for the task (raw, Counter Dbl 1Samp, etc).Thanks. NI Software : LabVIEW Real-Time version 8.5.1NI Hardware : PXI Controllers, Chassis, and MXI device PXI-8184Driver Version : 8.7.1OS : Windows XP
It was a mistake to boot! An event of default would erase the name of task... it's the same for another sub - VI for other tasks so I'm not that. But it works now that I've totally simplified the Subvi. Two other people have worked on it in front of me (newbees) so I have a lot of cleaning up to do.
Thanks for all the answers and sorry it was something so simple. It took me a while to get back into the swing of debugging stuff RT.

The channels are hardcoded and I a VI to write to DUT #1 and another to write to DUT #2.
Each VI creates a task, it starts, writes in the lines (twice) of output then stops and deletes the task.
When I run them in LabVIEW... in any order a combination everything behaves as expected.
When I run in Teststand, the first iteration of the sequence "PASSES", but whatever it is then "FAILS" the first time, it is called.
Error Msg:

I ignored all the other steps in the sequence other than the screw (attached), but the error persists.
Somehow, Teststand is compensation not properly the tasks.

I get the message that Scheduler tasks not preformed tasks does not
Original title: error messages
I get the message that Scheduler tasks not preformed tasks does notYou have can not be programmed tasks, but one or several applications that you have installed probably made (without bothering to tell you). Google is a likely culprit, but certainly not the only one.
Most of these tasks are "phone home" search for updates of applications. If you ask me, you're better off with tasks not running - but I'm sure that you don't like the error message at every startup.
Rather than starting at the end with the section of the "Troubleshooting" section, begins to run and find out what's on demand - so you can decide whether you care or not that it is not performed.
Click Start > Accessories > system tools > scheduled tasks
The window tasks planned opens and you can see the list of tasks. If you want the tasks to be performed, but they are not, then follow «troubleshooting» article If you don't want the task to run, do a right click and 'delete '.
Or, if you do not want to risk to delete something you don't know, but don't want the error of "missed tasks", right-click on a task, select properties and then uncheck the box in the tab 'Task' that says 'Enabled '. This will give time to what the job is all about and why he could not be executed but will prevent the message "some tasks have been missed" to come whenever you start the search.

I am trying to create a .bat file that stops a set of scheduled tasks and start another game, but when it works it is said that there is no such thing as the name of the task
SCHTASKS/Change/disable /TN ImageCopyTest
ERROR: The name of the specified job 'ImageCopyTest' does not exist in the system.Running schtasks/query does not list the tasks that I have implemented in Task Scheduler
For operational reasons, the tasks are set on "Run If the user is logged in or not ' and I read somewhere that this automatically makes the hidden task
Can someone shed light on how I can get around what I need this operation for our recovery after disaster

Manager of the registry editor and the task does not not XP clean install
Hi all
I use Windows Xp professional. As soon as I installed Windows I wanted to see 'Task Manager' and 'the registry editor. But I'm not able to open these two applications.
Whenever I try to run regedit or taskmgr I get this message "task manager / the registry editor" has been blocked by your system administrator.
I tried a few methods such as downloading a file .vbs script that opens the registry editor and also tried to activate it in the gpedit.msc but I'm still not able to do it properly.
Can someone help me on this please?
Enable the Task Manager in Windows XP
1. start Windows to your habit.
2. click on 'start '. Then highlight and click on 'run '.
3. Type "REGEDIT" in the text bar and press "enter."
4 4 naviguer navigate in the registry, locate the following directory: "HKEY_CURRENT_USER-Software-Microsoft-Windows------CurrentVersion------Policies\ system.»
5.right click "HKEY_CURRENT_USER", then click on 'New' from the context menu to include a new string. This is necessary only when the necessary directory is not present in the registry. By default, Windows XP Home Edition does not include the necessary directories chain.
6. click on the part of the sentence "DisableTaskMgr" and delete it. It's the easiest way to do it, but it makes it harder to fix in the future. You will need to manually reenter the chain if you don't back up first.
7 change the numbers in the Boolean section of the entry from one to zero. This will allow the Task Manager in Windows XP. Note that zero is essentially equivalent to a positive input in this regard, that the original string is a negative.
8 change the string manually in the window "Run" from the Start Menu, without having to access the registry editor. Just type "REG add HKCU/v DisableTaskMgr /t REG_DWORD /d 0/f" in the text field and press "Enter"...
Please do the above methods and even if it does not work with these processes then mail me... my mail is * address email is removed from the privacy *. am vijay... waitin 4 your rly... try it & IT... It is easy...

Scheduled task does not play if already open WMP, trying to avoid manual close
I'm in a work centre that will make announcements every day on a speaker system that is run by windows media player. I set up a scheduled task to all files that will play, but once the said file is played WMP does not close automatically. This does not seem like a problem, but if nobody closes on WMP, the next scheduled task will not - play which completely defeated the purpose to automate the process and our workers will have to still remember to close WMP 3 or 4 times a day, otherwise nobody gets the announcement.
I have tried implementing a command line with /play wmplayer start/close c:myfile.wav as an executable file and run it with the Task Scheduler instead of the wav file... it did not work. Namely, the /close function was abandoned with WMP.
Is it possible that I can continue to use WMP and completely automate this process without the manual close WMP after each scheduled task?

Hello
subject of windows defender
read this information on the Defender:
· If you use microsoft security essentials avg avira mcafee norton etc they disable the vista version of windows defender by default
the basics of Microsoft security has its own version of windows defender
and other anti-virus programs use their own particular type of application to scan for spyware and malware
It of nothing to worry and is the default action, which is designed for them to do
If the above does not apply to your machine to read the information on the below link on how to disable the windows defender service in vista or make an autostart to enable
and here is the method to remove it from startup in vista
http://www.groovypost.com/HOWTO/Microsoft/Vista/remove-Windows-Defender-from-Vista-system-startup/
and this is how you would normally activate or disable windows defender in vista from within defenders of own and options tools
http://www.groovypost.com/HOWTO/Microsoft/Vista/disable-Windows-Defender-for-Microsoft-Vista/
and read this information to microsoft:
Error message when you run Windows Defender: «Error 0x800106ba»
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/931849
and if you need to change startup programs read this information on the other methods of doing it without using defender
using msconfig read this tutorial;
How to use MSCONFIG in Windows Vista
Here's how to use MSCONFIG in Windows Vista to disable some unnecessary programs that load automatically at startup
http://netsquirrel.com/Msconfig/msconfig_vista.html
and also try this program;
This utility, which has a knowledge of auto-starting locations of any startup monitor, shows you what programs configured to run at system startup or login and that the entries in the order of processing windows. These programs include those in your startup folder, Run, RunOnce, and other registry keys. You can configure Autoruns to show other locations, including Explorer shell, toolbar extensions, helper objects to the browser, Winlogon notifications, auto and many start-up services more

on the Task Manager
also run the sfc/scannow command.
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833
Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:
- Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click principally madeprograms,Accessories, right-clickguest, and then clickrun as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or clickallow.
- Type the following command and press ENTER:sfc/scannow
The sfc/scannow command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions
If SFC detects the main problems it can't fix you may need to borrow a Microsoft dvd vista not an acer, HP etc. recovery disk and do a repair installation
read the below tutorial on how to perform a repair installation
http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/88236-repair-install-Vista.html
and make sure that your computer is malware free
an anti-virus can not find any problems
you need to scan with a good anti-malware program
Download update and scan with the free malwarebytes anti-malware version

After the automatic update of Windows 7 - Manager of tasks does not work
Automatic update has occurred. Now the Task Manager does not come with window with tabs upward. Only a window with two columns ('Mission' and 'Status') and three option buttons ("end task", go to "and new task" "). Even not a 'close button' - may not only close to the taskbar.

Scheduled task does not exist, yet still short
Some time ago I implemented a simple batch file as a task scheduled to run at 07:00 every day, and he does so since then. It starts DTExec.exe to do a load of data and send me an email when it is successful.
Now I want to change the run time - but I can't find work anywhere! I do not see it in Task Scheduler (and yes I putShow hidden tasks ), the task name appears nowhere in \Windows\Tasks or \Windows\System32\Tasks
No schedule in such a way does seem to exist - yet the task always runs daily so there must be somewhere! If not, where can I get?
(It's on Windows 7 Home Premium, and my account does not have administrator rights. The task of the TA is configured to use the system account.)
More info: looking at the logs with Event Viewer, I see in the application log an entry at 07:00:22 to SQLISPackage100 that says that my task is completed then.
But the newspaper Windows/TaskScheduler operational, there is no event at 7:00! There is something to 06:52 then the following entry is RacTask starting at 07:14:16
Is there something in windows that can perform tasks of the user to fire time OTHER than Task Scheduler? Maybe I'm looking at the bad service?
Ah - that's all! Opened by SQL Agent jobs do not appear in the list of Task Scheduler (and I had forgotten that I would be implemented in this way).> Article 2nd Wright of debugging: If you can't find the bug, looking for it in the wrong place. (1st rule: there is always a bug.)

Hello
I try to call a batch file that has copied the fdr files from one folder to another and runs sarmanalyzer to generate csv files in the disqualification landing area.
The batch file works well when called from the prompt command or double click on the server of the disqualification, but does not work as expected when it is called project or work.
I have generated a log file that confirms that the log file is running of the task for the last line, but commands to copy and file sarmanalyzer don't work quite simply.
Pointers are greatly appreciated.
Thank you
SID
SID,
I don't know enough about the security of windows so I don't know if the Network Service account should run or not, but there is certainly a problem of security here [Account NetworkService (Windows)]. You certainly have correct permissions on the sharing of this machine [Note that it is not seeking to connect by using a domain account]. You can also change the service runs under a domain account - you can test it by running tomcat using your logon credentials. It would be the equivalent of the execution of the batch from the command line.
Thank you
Nick

Tasks does not save preferences
Hello
I noticed that when I closed the application of tasks after selecting arrage and elements "Hide Completed" my tasks by date, it does not record what I selected. It seems a little pointless to add these options if I have to change it everytime I open the app.
I guess I am writing in the hope that it will be corrected, or that someone has found a work around to
~ Dan
It's just a shot in the water. Have you tried to make the changes and then using the back gesture to return to the task list. Then close the map. See if it keeps things then. Mine the fact be it, no gesture back and just close don't always gets saved. But I remember a problem with an application other than if you just closed before returning, he not be saved.
In addition, if you make the change, then use the back gesture to return to the task list. Click the task again and is already reset then or only once the card is closed.

Hello
I use ORACLE 11g R2 & RHEL 5 DB.
My task of bottom line is I want to send an AWR & ADDM report by mail to myself and the other members of my team all the hours for a particular user. I did a procedure for the same thing. When I perform this procedure from the sys user then it is run successfully and we even receive emails with attachments well. When I try to run this procedure from the particular user, it gives me the following error: -.
"ORA-13605: the ADDM:1987121644_4118 of task or a specified object does not exist for the current user."
When I explored my procedure, I found that the error was in the query that is used to generate the report of the ADDM. The same query within an enforcement procedure s successfully with the sys user, but not in the other user. The query is as below: -.
When I accessed the sight of dba_advisor_tasks separately then I saw that each task the ower name was "SYS" user. So its gives me error when I have the fire of the other user. When I run it from SCOTT I get the following error: -.select dbms_advisor.get_task_report(task_name,'TEXT','ALL') as ADDM_report from dba_advisor_tasks where task_id = (select max(t.task_id) from dba_advisor_tasks t, dba_advisor_log l where t.task_id = l.task_id and t.advisor_name = 'ADDM' and l.status = 'COMPLETED')
I tried to use the view data dictionary with 'USER_'... like USER_advisor_tasks, but this returns null if it doesn't produce any report ADDM.ORA-13605: The specified task or object ADDM:1987121644_4017 does not exist for the current user. ORA-06512: at "SYS.PRVT_ADVISOR", line 3189 ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_ADVISOR", line 590 ORA-06512: at line 1 ORA-06512: at "SCOTT.SEND_MAIL_FOR_AWR_ADDM_REPORT", line 72 ORA-06512: at line 2
What should I do to run my (other than the user SYS) user SCOTT procedure and must generate the ADDM report.
Thanks in advance.Look at the signature of the function:
function get_task_report (task_name in varchar2, type in varchar2 := 'TEXT', level in varchar2 := 'TYPICAL', section in varchar2 := 'ALL', owner_name in varchar2 := NULL, execution_name in varchar2 := NULL, object_id in number := NULL) return clob;
See owner_name.
So:
select owner,task_name, dbms_advisor.get_task_report (t.task_name,'TEXT','TYPICAL','ALL',t.owner) as ADDM_report from dba_advisor_tasks t where task_id = (select max(t.task_id) from dba_advisor_tasks t, dba_advisor_log l where t.task_id = l.task_id and t.advisor_name = 'ADDM' and l.status = 'COMPLETED');

Process task does not fire on reset password
Hello
I have a task to change the password, which is triggered by the USR_PASSWORD table.
This command sets the password in the LDAP whenever it is changed in the IOM.
My task, which affects mainly obpasswordchangeflag true in LDAP, depends on the task to change the password.
However, these two tasks are not always triggered...
If I use the IOM admin interface and and reset the password and change the password manually, i.e. to specify the password and klicks ok, it changes the USR_PASSWORD in the table of the USR and triggers the first task that triggers the second...
But if I use the password reset and use the option generate automatically, it modifies the USR_PASSWORD field in the table to the USR, but it does NOT raise the tasks... Why is this? Do I did wrong?
DHello
We assume this behaviour in OIM 11 g is deliberate.
The system generated password is sent to the e-mail address of the user and seems to be a unique password for the IOM. Reset the password does not work if the user does not have an e-mail address. For some users to admin IOM would reset his or her password, the user would read their e-mail (assuming that they can access their email!). The user will then connect to the IOM by using this unique password and the password to something of their choice. When they do, IOM will spread the news provided by the user password to all resources are interested in it. At least that's what we have deduced the Oracle Identity Manager product version: 11.1.1.3.0.2.0 number of Build: 2.0.
But if you offer an SR and get a different answer, please post your findings here.
See you soon
