  Thanks to your tip, I did some additional research and found the solution to my problem. In order to limit the vCenter to do one (and only one) live migration of data store at a time, you should configure vpxd.cfg in your vCenter machine and add the following under :

  Your machine is still under warranty, so you should take it to your local Apple store for repairs. Function late in January, you bought it, you still have phone without support.   Add the column without constraint, then fill the column. Once all the rows in the table are given in the new column, and then add the constraint not null.

  You can enable ssh on the ESXi host since the Console is not supported .

  edit /etc/inetd.conf and uncomment the line ssh.

  PS | grep inetd

  kill - HUP the inetd PID

  You should now have ssh access. You can schedule the script from a crontab or?

  The answer depends on the data store. If it is a store of data NAS (NFS), you can use esxcfg-nas or nas vicfg to achieve your goals. If it's something else then there is no real way to disassemble the data store of in ESX short of dropping the pilot. You have to manage the presentation in your SAN/iSCSI server to do this or zoning in your switches fibre to achieve this purpose.
