  I heard that we can use trace to print data on the console in Flex Builder 3. But when I try, it's of no luck.

  Made a breakpoint to the line of trace and debug the application you can find the message u typed in the console... trace works only in debug mode... not in development mode...

  I would like to move the data store to copy my server esxi to this device so that I can share data on a nas device with a second esxi server that I'm raising soon.

  Is there a way to transfer the data from my internal store of data to the NAS device?

  You can enable ssh on the ESXi host since the Console is not supported .

  edit /etc/inetd.conf and uncomment the line ssh.

  PS | grep inetd

  kill - HUP the inetd PID

  You should now have ssh access. You can schedule the script from a crontab or?

  I have been using ssh access keys, but just found an article of http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1010287 of vmware.

  I have ESXi 4.0 installed on my server, and one of my four VM is an instance of Debian Lenny. My VM residence on a Raid-1 data store according to the 2x1.5TB. I have an additional SATA drive connected to my server (it is in one of the 8 hotswap bays in the server) I want to get on this VM Debian.

  Where can I do if the virtual machine can detect and eventually to mount this drive? I did research on vSphere manual with no luck yet.

  ESXi has several limitations (due to the limited service console).

  So you don't have USB support in the hidden console, you cannot read NTFS and Linux file system (no module in the kernel) and so on...

  As ESX and ESXi cannot (yet) to virtualize a USB device, so you cannot mount your drive in a VM.

  I would suggest using another system (Linux or Windows with a browser to ext2/ext3).

  I have a cluster of vSphere 4.1 which has 4 set up data warehouses.  On one of them, I see a triggered alarm - WARNING: database on disk.

  The definition of the alarm is to use the trigger by default, so it should be caveat when using discs of data store is greater than 75% and alerts when more than 85%.

  But the free space of the actual data store is easily within these limits, and yet the warning still appears.

  Capacity: 499,75 GB

  Space in use: 312,89 GB (63%)

  Free space: 299,06 GB (used: 40%)

  Update the: 08/04/2011 10:21:58

  On other data warehouses (which all lie on the same Dell |) EqualLogic array), I don't see any warnings.

  Any suggestions / ideas how I can delete it?

  It is a known problem.  You can deactivate and activate the alarm, as detailed in KB 1015642.

  I have installation topology and have creatred models.
  
  Our requirement is to load the Member of Dimension Plannig of flat files.
  
  So I have to the templates in the designer of... One for the flat file... one for planning.
  
  I did the opposite of the planing model succesfull, and she filled with all dimensions.
  
  Now, I want to do the opposite for the file also.
  
  But when I'm walking back on the model of file it says... cannot reverse the file template, go to the columns in the data source tab and then do the opposite.
  
  I created a server manulayy Say for accounts Dimension data, went on the colum tab, then did the revere, he succeeded.
  
  But the problem is that the columns are like c1, c2, c3... so on.
  
  They do not have to come from the way the data store was filled when I reverence for data store planning.

  If your file as header records make it sure in the files tab set heading 1 then when you reverse the columns that it must pick up the column headings

• Incorrect Date\Time in console busybox

  The date and time is correct when it is seen through the viclient, even I have to synchronize with an NTP server. However when I run the command 'date' in the console busbox the weather is bad. Any ideas?

  Try vmware-vim-cmd.

  As in:

  vmware-vim-cmd /hostsvc/datastore/refresh
  

  You may need to add the store of data as a parameter.

• Cannot create the data VMFS on SAN store

  Recently, I wiped two Dell 2950 running 3.0 with no problems. I installed the 3.5 update 4 and since I can not create a VMFS data store in the GUI. I get an error that says "error during the configuration of the host: cannot open the volume: / vmfs/volumes/xxxxx".

  When I connect the console to the root, I see that the volume has been created, and I can even write. I also noticed that the data link store does not work as well.

  Storage EMC CX3 is CX4.

  I tried this on two servers various and two tables of sotrage.

  Ah yes... CLARiiON storage system must use MRU failover.

  I had the same problem. At the same time hold the screen lock button and the home button until your iPhone restarts. That solved the problem for me.

  Cannot get my calendar to store the dates of the annual events birthdays for example.
  Option gives (annual 27 July 2012), but would it be fair (27 July each year). No way to remove year so presumably won't wait that 2012 will come along! All the other choices for weekly and monthly do not specify the year.

  Annual option should I think be the same. Tried to enter next year, but comes with (year July 27, 2013) so it looks that have to enter every year which is a pain. Someone at - it ideas.
