  I installed Oracle 11 g (11.1.0.6) on Redhat Linux AS 5. It works very well.
  
  I want to install Oracle DB Arch on top of this database.
  
  A few questions:
  
  (1) can I install the vault DB 10.2.0.4 on this database? Is it supported?
  
  (2) is there a DB vault for 11 g? I searched but not able to find it. Can it be installed on 11.1.0.6?
  
  I'd rather go with option 1 if taken in charge.

  I create a portfolio of oracle and everything works fine until a script is launched by the OS oracle user. (same user that whoever created the store)

  I use authentication external store and inside my script, I do something like a sqlplus / @MYSECURE_TNS.

  However, when I run a script OS another user as a 'data_loading_user' I get the error: Oracle Database Vault ORA-12578 connection error: TNS:wallet open failed

  I would like to know, how I can activate any user on the local host access the portfolio safe to connect to the database.

  Tried something out of the blue, that has worked.

  I added the data_loading_user of the user to the group administrator (Group of BONES that created the wallet).

  The I added the read permission to the group, so the permission on the files below were 640:

  # > chmod 640 cwallet.sso

  # > 640ewallet.p12 chmod

The oracle documentation provides only the domain through Grid Control configuration. I want to create realms through the line of commnad or the use of pl/sql packages provided by the vault of the database.

  We must right customer Oracle 64-bit and 32-bit. ! (for FDM, such as recommended in the installation documentation)
  
  If so, we install all products in one machine. What client (32 or 64-bit), it must first install?
  
  Is it necessary to install also the ODAC?

  I installed and configured Vault database on an Oracle 11 g - r2 - 11.2.0.3 to protect a specific schema (SCHEMA_NAME) via a Kingdom. I followed the following doc:

  to ensure that the system and the network user has sufficient rights to complete a schedule pump data Oracle export operation.
  
  I.e. I gave sys and system the following:

  It is not a problem with the license, it is an inherent limitation of dbcontrol. He (dbcontrol) works with a single database. Create/manage a DG of installation, you must be able to work with multiple databases, where the unique flavor of OEM that will do GC.
