  BCM42RLY is a Broadcom network card driver. I suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the drivers and check if it helps.

  As I said previously that it has nothing to do with the forms. I have no idea what sqltools is, because it is not part of the installation of server developer suite or application. It is certainly the wrong place to ask. Maybe a google search sheds some light on your problem.

  You can disable this feature 'as sysdba' by authentication defined in sqlnet.ora votes to ZERO.

  I am puzzled to this problem, no one else is having problem connecting to the database except a user who always gets "ORA-03135: connection lost contact" when you try to connect to the test and Prod environment.

  tnsping works fine and return connect credentials

  Here's what I did troubleshooting:

  1. make sure that the user is not locked in the database

  2. place the database restricted and provided this user mode access restricted and tried the connection as long as that user, not luck.

  3A bounced the listener

  4A rebounded from the database

  5. some online forums suggest to increase the timeout setting in sqlnet.ora, in our environment, we use the OID and the sqlnet.ora is the central directory. If this cannot be the issue that everyone can connect.

  6. I checked the sqlnet.log file and there seems to be no incoming connection from this user or machine.

  Thanks for everyone came, surprisingly, the problem is solved by simply changing the user password in the database. As soon as the password is reset, I was able to connect using the assigned user name.

  IM about to set fire to this laptop...   Unless you have an idea, when it started and what changes have been made before the appearance of this problem (and by changes it could be software installation/uninstall, update existing software, make changes, etc), you should probably do a reinstall. If you have a Vista disc to the same level as the current installation, insert it and follow the instructions for an inplace upgrade. If you have a system pre-installed with recovery of manufacturer, follow their instructions.

  Randomly change file permissions should not solve your problems.

  Linux is a viable alternative, but it may suffer corruption as well, and you will probably find a real support to fail.

• Connection Internet says 'Local' only and I can't access the internet at my convenience.

  I'm not a computer genius, but I know that's not my wireless which is mess up and not allow me to access internet from my laptop.  If I try to access my home, or somewhere else that provides wireless internet, I always have trouble getting.  IF it connects, it shows 'Local' only and not allow me to access the internet.  It seems to do this when I am on the internet while someone else in my household is on it as well.  Which shouldn't be a problem at all.  I should be able to access the internet if someone else uses it or not.  Never had this problem until I got this new laptop with vista.  It lasts for almost a year now and I'm taking classes online and cannot deal with this problem any longer.  Please someone help me solve this ongoing problem that seems to be quite common!

  Exasperated after putzing autour with FlashPlayer Trust, cross-domain policy files, changing settings of the wrapper, changing the settings of the compiler and installing the debug version of Flash Player without success, I then installed Flex Builder on my friend and transferred machine source code to see if the problem goes away if I do a clean rebuild and compile it.

  Duh!
  People of my fault.
  Discovered that a program that feeds on my Flex application generated invalid XML.
  The trap of fault Manager I had in my Flex application (which was based on an example of code Flex btw) generated the misleading warning.

  Moral of the story - instead of just showing the event.fault.message in your error handler, remember to precede a specific error message.

  Flex is a wonderful tool! Debugging in an env declarative, asynchronous as Flex requires a new debugging strategies well and unlearn some programming habits, though.
