• cannot select a mapped drive on select the database window

  I use virtual XP mode in Windows 7.    Under XP, I am able to map a drive G: that comes from Win 7 mapped drive (Microsoft Terminal Services).  Great, in Explorer, you can see the mapped drive.  I need to set up an ODBC connection to a database on this disc.  No problem, I thought.  When I need to select a drive in the select the database window, I do not see this drive only A:, C:, D:, the default value for readers, G: is not displayed.

  Is this a bug or is this normal?  I did something wrong?

  I finally solved it.

  I've got a hold of our network knowledgeble person and have been able to connect a network drive.  It was enough to format another/prefix in the login window.  Then I set up an ODBC for the Access database.

  It seems that virtual XP does not meet tsclient, so had to use windows normal mapping.

  I am trying to connect to an Access 2007 accdb file by using an ASP site in Dreamweaver CS5 on Windows 7 Home Premium OS (processor quad Intel i7 6 GB of RAM).  The plus sign in the database window is gray, without error message or explanation about the program.

  All the steps below "to use dynamic data on this page" have checkboxes next to them.  [1. create a site for this file.]  2. choose a document type.  3 configure the server to test site]

  I use Dreamweaver CS5 on Windows 7 Home Premium.  I am trying to connect to an Access 2007 accdb file.  I searched the internet far for some clues, but all the world assumes that the sign '+' is active and not greyed out.

  I created an ASP.

  View local: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Website\

  Remote server / test: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\

  I tried to put the Access 2007 database these two places.

  I tried several variations where to put the local site, the remote server, and the test server on my computer and nothing seems to make any difference.

  I would fix a screen showing the sign more dimmed, but Adobe has temporarily disabled the file uploads b/c of some security concerns.

  I will be forever in your debt if you can solve this conundrum!

  ASP VBScript has not been deprecated in Dreamweaver CS5. It is still supported.

  ASP.NET and ASP JavaScript are no longer supported. They appear in the Server templates to allow developers to continue to work with sites created in previous versions of Dreamweaver.

  I'm not sure if Dreamweaver supports databases created in Access 2007. You may need to convert to use an .mdb file name extension. Also, see if the following help page: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/setup_asp_04.html.

  If this is your first foray into the development of dynamic websites, I feel obliged to say that the ASP is a very bad choice. Microsoft has stopped the ASP development about 10 years ago and is now all efforts for ASP.NET. Although many people still use with ASP, it is a dying technology. If you want to create dynamic Web sites in Dreamweaver, you'd be better off using PHP or ColdFusion.

  We would require both approval of external/transitive way between the two domains.

  There are 2 ways to work around the problem:

  1. install an another ACS to the remote site/domain and route all the

  applications for users of the remote domain to the ACS.

  2 configure the partner domain as LDAP on GBA (Corp. website), this should not require domain trust. The only problem that we will have some authentication methods is not supported when using ldap.

  Hi all

  I'm confused if 4.2 ACS can manage Windows 2012 database or not. Windows 2008 seems to work very well, but I can't find a hint if 2012 works as well. Upgrade to Windows 2012 will take place soon I have to make sure that it works. Otherwise, it must use generic LDAP instead.

  4.2 CSA support not windows 2012. The latest windows OS, it works well has NO-2008R2. Since ACS 4.x is now EOL, was the end of the Software Maintenance as of October 26, 2012, we cannot yet file request for improvement to support windows 2012 as a back-end database.

  Support for Windows 2012 has been added in patch 5.4 ACS 2

  5.4 ACS patch 2 supports Windows 2012 AD.

  This is an out of place (2nd House created oracle and patched to 10.2.0.5)

  I just installed Oracle Grid Control 10.2.0.1 then improved to 10.2.05 on Windows 2003 server.
  
  I could open the service OracleServiceEMPREP to 10.2.0.1 but not after I upgraded to 10.2.0.5

  I don't see anything abnormal in your last post.

  I think only your under Windows 32 bit, correct? This document might be the solution:

  I'm trying to connect to a database of mySQL in PHP in Dreamweaver CC but to see that the window > database option is no longer there. I downloaded Adobe Extension Manager, but when I try to open the Deprecated_ServerBehaviorsPanel_Support.zxp file to re - activate the database window it says I need Dreamweaver V13... How to turn on this option (I use a Mac).
