DataFile 1 must be restored

Hello
in 10g R2, Win 2008 during recovery from backup by RMAN database, I get successively:

rman>recover database;

RMAN-06094:datafile 1 must be restored

rman>restore datafile  'D:\BASES\mydb\DATA\SYSTEM01.DBF'

restore finished
rman>recover database;

RMAN-06094:datafile 1 must be restored
You have a solution?

Thank you.
6094, 1, "datafile %s must be restored"
// *Cause: A RECOVER command was issued, and the recovery catalog indicates
// the specified datafile should be part of the recovery, but
// this datafile is not listed in the control file, and cannot be
//         found on disk.
// *Action: Issue a RESTORE command for this datafile, using the same
// UNTIL clause specified to the RECOVER command (if any), then

    Hi all

    The data file 344 and 345 belonged to two different tablespaces that were not used.

    More, I don't know why, but the timestamp on these two data files 344 and 345 was showiing like JULY 6 instead of JULY 28.

    If I was sure that this was causing the problem.

    I gave these 2 storage spaces and then runs again once again the script removing created controlfiles and the database has been opened.

    Just curious as to why these 2 data files were not getting filled with the timestamp of the last?

    Concerning

    What is the status of the two data files? You can query to source database
    SQL > select file_id, dba_data_files online_status where file_id in (344 345);

    This backup contains these two files? If these two tablespaces have only a data file is in read-only mode?

  • Defective single file restore: "datafile... already restored to the file.

    Hi all

    I ' am doing some tests with RMAN restore and restore a single file in a new directory.

    First execution of the restore script (run {restore datafile 14-'... » ;}) has been a success, but in the case where I deleted the restored file and restart the script, RMAN complains with:

    "datafile 14 is already restored to the file...". ».

    This means that RMAN keeps track of and refers to the previous actions of restoration?

    I find this rather strange RMAN behavior because I want RMAN just to use to deal with some files (should not make assumptions that the DBA can do or what he or anyone else has done it before...).

    Y at - it an option to 'force' RMAN to restore files, regardless of what happened before?

    Thank you,

  • RMAN-06023: no backup or copy of datafile 40 found to restore

    Hi Ben!

    To exclude a tablespace in backup/restore do the following:

    Find the name of the repository where 40 datafile belongs to 1.).

    SELECT tablespace_name
    FROM dba_tablespaces t, dba_data_files d
    WHERE t.tablespace_name = d.tablespace_name
    AND d.file_id = 40;

    2.) configure an exclusion for this tablespace (allows to name TS1) in rman

    CONFIGURE EXCLUDE FOR TABLESPACE TS1;

    3.) Repeat steps 1 and 2 for datafiles 38 and 39.

    4.) Restore the database

    RESTORE DATABASE;

    5.) Actually you can't recovery your database because of the missing datafiles. Try to recreate them. This will only work, if you've all the archivelogs since your last backup. Do this within SQL*Plus

    startup mount

    ALTER DATABASE
    CREATE DATAFILE 40
    AS 'path/filename of file number 40';

    6.) repeat step 5 for 38 and 39 data files

    I don't exactly know if it works or not but I hope!

    When I tested missing missing datafile and control file scenario on the primary database, it worked (Advisor to recover data)

    However, missing datafile scenario does not work on the physics of the day before.
    Here are the steps I followed:

    6. of course RMAN commands have failed to restore the missing data file;
    So I renamed the file to original and rebooted repeat services applies - this restore the data file and now the configuration state of the DG is normal.
    *********************************************************************************

    Not quite sure if I'm still he hands the right way or if the error above is related to RMAN not able to synchronize with the physics of the day before.

    The documentation I want to talk to is here (1 paragraph):

  • Doubt RMAN for recovey

    Hello

    I'm learing RMAN and beginner in this area. I have a doubt for recovey db.
    I took hotbackup full db using controlfile deposit of GR 11, 2 db. Then I restored it on the same host, directory structure has also been even during the restoration restore n as it was during the backup.

    Safeguard measures:
    RMAN > configure redundancy 2 retention policy;
    RMAN > set the parallelism of peripheral disc type 2;
    RMAN > configure channel device type disk format ' / home/oracle/rman_backup/ora_df%t_b%s_p%p';
    RMAN > configure controlfile autobackup on;
    RMAN > configure CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP peripheral type disc format in ' / home/oracle/rman_backup/ora_cf%F';
    RMAN > set up optimization backup;
    RMAN > show all.
    RMAN > backup the database archivelog;

    Restore and refresh as follows:

    *. On SQLPLUS, stop immediately
    *. Remove all the data files, redo logs, control files, newspapers archived (of the oradata and flashback area)
    *. On the RMAN command prompt:
    1 RMAN > startup nomount;
    2 RMAN > restore controlfile to ' / home/oracle/rman_backup/ora_cfc-4124714611-20110510-00';
    3 RMAN > change the editing of the database;
    4 RMAN > restore database;
    5 RMAN > backup from the list of the archivelog all;
    6 RMAN > recover database until sequence 6.
    7 RMAN > alter database open resetlogs;

    On the SQL command prompt:

    8. SQL > select group # first_change #, status, sequence #, archived log v$. (this step was performed before you recover the database, that is to say prior to step 6)

    GROUP # FIRST_CHANGE # STATUS # ARC SEQUENCE

    1 962626 YES 4 INACTIVE
    3 979898 6 CURRENT NO.
    *2        979836                      ACTIVE                     5               YES*

    Since up to SEQ 5 only, archives were present at the start, I got db up to seq 5, but RMAN showed following error:*.

    RMAN > recover database until the sequence 5.

    From pick up to 22 May 11
    using channel ORA_DISK_1
    using the ORA_DISK_2 channel
    RMAN-00571: ===========================================================

    RMAN-06556: datafile 1 must be restored from a backup that is older than SNA 979836

    Then I cleaned new system and gave 6 SEQ next time during recovery as it is the highest seq, but since archivelog to seq 6 is not present or redo logs are present (as far as my backup rman understanding isn't back ups redo logs and I had deleted previous recovery of host newspapers before starting the recovery and restoration) , then how is the recovery completed successfully? +

    Purnima Johari

    I have no onlinelogs on the host. I deleted all the log files from the flash and oradata recovery area before you begin the process of restoration and recovery on the host (.dbf, .log, .ctl). When I tried with "database recovery command", he gave following error (it's just the excerpt from o/p):

    Ah - yes: If you remove the onlinelogs then you receive the above error because a newspaper archive does not yet exist and the onlinelog with sequence 6 is missing too.

    >

    So you mean if we use up to clause with database recovery command, it always runs recovery up to n - 1. So imagine a scenario where all newspapers of recovery have been archived, if highest till SEQ that checked is generated is N, then to until I give SEQ N + 1 as up to execute it 'N' no time. Right?

    It's just too. It goes same for the RCS. If you want to recover to the last SNA in a specific archivelog, you can query the column NEXT_CHANGE # of v$ archived_log , then you will run 'restore database until the SNA... "and give the RCS of NEXT_CHANGE #-because it will recover to NEXT_CHANGE #-1.

    See you soon

    Hello

    Now, only yesterday I took the full backup of the database (February 12, 2013). Now I want to restore back to 2 days (February 11, 2013---> my time target).

    Unfortunately, you cannot restore to February 11, 2013 by using the backup set February 12, 2013.
    CAMILLE, you must restore a previous backup before the time runs out.

    Kind regards

  • How to skip unwanted tablespaces restoration and recovery

    DB version: 11.2.0.1.0
    Version of the OS: AIX 6.1

    I have a full backup (level 0, level 1, archives, controlfile, spfile) for a database. Now, I have to restore and recover the database on another server. I know that some storage spaces that are not necessary. This means, the tablespace are just for the backup of tables etc. and storage spaces are not recovered & restored then also it very well. My main idea is to save time by not restore & recovery of unwanted files. Here is the output of outline report.

    Hello;

    You can make a leap like this:

    RMAN > RECOVER DATABASE SKIP users TABLESPACE; (for multiples use the comma between)

    Temp history, RESTORE DATABASE SKIP TABLESPACE;

    You will need to provide the Tablespace names in single quotes.

    Your RESTORE command must also include SKIP TABLESPACE tablespacename or SKIP FOREVER TABLESPACE tablespacename to exclude the specific tablespace.
