  I recommend you contact phone number DataPass for this. In my opinion, the service is available in Italy, but also in many other European countries, and it allows for roaming areas, it is provided. So I think it won't matter, but it is best to check with Datapass themselves.

  There is not an update specifically for the module. There is a bios update but I would use before moving again.

• Unable to connect to HP Datapass on HP Chromebook

  I'm having this problem on the Chromebook 5 I bought this week. Follow the instructions to get to the point where I press the button Save and nothing happens. Spent an hour on help Chat yesterday, but no joy. Appeal has been reassigned to the research team, but nobody has come to me yet. Makes the ' no wifi no problem "hangs a bit silly! Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Living in Northern Ireland and the mobile network is showing only 3 UK. The symbols H or 3G show so there's a connection.

  After two weeks of endless Datapass HP communication network seems to have been resolved. Finally I can access 3G on my Chromebooks and the access speed is amazing.

  An important measure seems to be to ensure that the APN is set to bredband.tre.se

• HP SLATE 10: Corrupt 4.4.2 Android update HP Slate 10 HD

  There is already a question similar to what has been marked as resolved.

  IT IS NOT RESOLVED.

  I have a Tablet masoned due to a corrupted version of android being downloaded to it.  This new corrupted version has a timestamp inside newer than any file available at HP recovery.

  This means that any recovery is impossible until HP produce a file UPDATE.zip has a more recent than the update corrupted time stamp.

  It should be possible to produce a solution that restores the files internal datestamp on the Tablet and this will allow an update run.

  In the meantime, I had to buy another Tablet of a rival.

  HP released a new update.zip file to replace the one damaged.

  My slate model has been 3610ea.

  Downloaded the file.  Copied to a mirco SD.  Started the tablet in the recovery menu: POWER and neighborhoods momentarily after hold in the button volume +.

  When the recovery menu appears to load from an external support, and then select the update.zip.

  Now, please be patient...  20 minutes from random reboots puffs of heat, dead robots and bob your uncle the Tablet is alive again.  less software datapass

  Kudos to HP to fix this problem.  Even though I am 120 lbs down I need a Tablet 2 weeks ago and had to buy a good replacement market.

  I understand that you have problems to access the account information when you use your 4 G SIM card connection.

  To the best of my knowledge account the packets of data information and HP require connecting since the actual connection of DataPass to authenticate.

  As long as you have access to the internet with the slate should not be a problem at all.  If your data plan with 3 + card works in the Australia should be fine. If your 3 + card passes in Australia, I am warning you only access to the internet in Australia when you have wireless and not with mobile data access. In this way, you can avoid costly fees that you will be responsible for the purchase if you want to use mobile data. Being in a different country means different service providers.

  Hi evav, welcome to the Forums of HP. It should just be a matter of adding the SIM card by this manual: connect to a 3 G network Broadband Mobile (Android 4.2/Jelly Bean) and activate it according to your instructions to suppliers.
