  I got a HP Slate 7 Plus about 5 weeks. This morning, I recognized that there is a crack on the right corner of the screen, about 2 or 3 inches under the lens of the camera. The Tablet still works without problem outside the crack. The Tablet never fell or hit and I pushed ever the screen hard or something like that. How can I get the screen replaced? I live in the Kansas City area, Missouri.

• Why Google + comments will work for me in private browsing mode, but not in the regular navigation?

  For some reason, I can't respond to any comment of Google Plus on any Google service when Firefox is in normal browse mode. However, I can answer all the comments from Google over YouTube and Google more in private browsing mode. Google Plus comments work as well in Chrome. I can post a comment in all browsers in all modes, but I can't answer or mark as spam any comment of Google Plus in Firefox, when it is not in private browsing mode.

  SYPMTOM:

  The taskbar seems to blink once a second about.  Owner thought that the laptop would die.

  It is a sony vaio laptop running windows vista Home premium.

  After he looks fixedly for some time, we have seen that it is not a screen problem at all.  There is a popup or window opening and closing almost instantly.  Text can be seen in the bar of tasks but not identified.

  We made updates to date and scan with malwarebytes, spybot search and destroy, microsoft security essentials and same trendmicro housecall.

  Each scan found it of own problems and fixed at all.

  If after all these analyses the popup still happens under normal windows and as well safe mode.

• BlackBerry Smartphones Internet Email Synch Issue (?)

  Hello.  I currently have a 8820 through my company and it works Enterprise Server business.  I also have a couple of personal e-mail accounts set up at this topic through the phone, including a yahoo email account, plus a local Internet service provider account.

  Previosly on this phone I received recently, I was using an 8700g, both phones use the tmobile phone service.  On the 8700, my internet email would be synch where the 8820 now isn't.

  Here's what I mean.  On the 8700, the bb would download the great of internet mail.  When it is on my desk, when I download my email in windows live mail (yahoo, local isp), read, then delete it, the email on my bb local would be deleted as well without any intervention from me.

  However, now with the 8820, bb d / l mail, but when deleted on the desktop, it does not remove on the bb without manually delete me.  I'm sure I have set them up in the same way and reconciliation wireless is enabled for each account.

  Thanks, this was not she have already like that.  However, with a little more in depth research in support of bb area, found the answer here.

  Basically, when I turned in my old bb to the brain trust of company, I deleted e-mail accounts internet off the device via Web tmobiles site.  When I got a new, tmobiles site says that I didn't have privileges to configure email on my new camera, I did it on the bb itself.  I found on tmobiles site, I have to check a box for deleted sync items that was not available on the phone, only on the site (who also gives Ididn can't access).

  Then by checking here, I discovered my tmobile site must have the phone image showing on the home page to access certain functions of the phone which is not configured.  I put the phone posted on the Web site and the Viola, I had access to the email Setup page where I can click on synchronize deleted items.

  I do a series of projects of Cp4 using the synthesized voice (I use Paul, if it matters). I recently discovered the dictionary Editor (UserDicEng.exe). I use fixed from this page of the Captivate Blog:

  I can create pronunciations customized in the editor, but I can't make them work in my projects, even after changing the line of text, pressing on convert button and replacing the audio in the slide.

  In my case, I am customizing is the pronunciation of a URL, forcing Cp to read, for example, " " http://CNN.com "as" http colon slash slash cnn dot com "." Even after customization of the pronunciation, it reads "http cnn dot com". I can, of course, write phonetically in the slide notes, but I wish that these double as closed captioning, so it's a less-than-ideal solution.

  I have a similar problem with Paul.  I found that if I use Kate instead of Paul and change Kate dictionary, she did a better job.  In fact, I found that the Kate and Paul seem to use dictionary of Kate.  So, I do all my editing in the dictionary of Kate.

  I submitted a bug on this, plus I had business service Adobe customer on this issue since last September.  Still no resolution.

• HP Slate 21 Service Repair?

  I have a 21 slate and affecting stopped working. I have tried the factory reset and it does nothing.  I tried to reset as well in the start menu and it does nothing.  I went to the support site and put my serial number and it tells me that my product is is more served by HP.  Since I got it with a guarantee of 3 years 9 months ago, why not HP maintenance?  And why is there no clear information on which it services then?  Does anyone know how to get this repaired or who to contact?

  Hello

  I've looked everywhere including the documentation for a link get the service on my tablet.  I bought at Wal - Mart 2 months ago, but he stopped same charger of a new.

  When I go to HP support it or sent it to me in this forum, or it gives a link to the authorized service providers.  However, when you click this link, no one seems to handle the pills!

  Any advice on where to go to get this resolved?

• OfficeJet 6500 a Plus: impossible to activate the Web services; roadblocks at all stages

  This printer is connected to my network by Ethernet. I want to activate Web services, so I can use ePrint.

  When I try to enable Web services from the printer control panel, I said that I might need to enter a proxy address. I'm not running a proxy server, but it is not possible around this prompt.

  There are posts on this Board indicating that Web services can be activated with a Wi - Fi connection. I unplugged the Ethernet cable and wireless enabled, but I was always invited address proxy information when I tried to activate the Web services. I disabled wireless and returned to Ethernet.

  A response to another post suggested updating the firmware to bypass the proxy server error. HP recommendation is to do it from the control panel of the printer. In the Panel menu control, firmware upgrade is the title of the Web services, which I can't because of the mistake of the proxy. So I downloaded the firmware and tried to install the update from my computer. The update found my printer on the network, but it is gray, saying 'Not applicable', under the State. I couldn't select it.

  In another post, someone suggested THAT DNS has been configured. I saw, through Server Web shipped by the printer, there is no configured DNS server (the printer is configured for manual IPv4). So via the integrated Web server, I tried to enter addresses (my domain controller, OpenDNS, Google) DNS server. With each of them, the SAP replied: "an error has occurred. (ipv4Page-400). Click 'OK' to go back. "There is no place to enter the DNS settings on the printer control panel.

  Web services require a Wi - Fi connection?

  Why the printer think there need a proxy address?

  The firmware update will solve the proxy error?

  I have to update the firmware, if the update statement indicates does not apply?

  What is another method for updating the firmware out of the control panel or from my computer?

  How to enter the DNS of the EWS information without getting an error?

  Thank you for taking the time to provide a complete response to my questions.

  I finally got the Web services enabled on the printer. What I had to do was enter the DNS settings in SAP to bypass the prompt for proxy information. Step I missed yesterday, when I got page not found error in the SAP, was that I had to do the secure version of the SAP ("https", not "http"), and then the EWS would accept my DNS entries. Once this is done, I went to the printer and could enable Web services without having to provide proxy information.

  The printer is now registered to hpconnect.com, and I can start letting my library to print patterns on my wireless network, that was my goal all along.

• Slate Plus 7 displays the menu at startup and start in safe mode

  I just bought a Tablet HP Slate 7 more. When I got to the top of the Tablet for the first time, he showed a small green menu at the top left that contains the following options:

  Start normally

  Fastboot Protocol

  Core recovery

  Forced collection

  However, I'm unable to go with the volume buttons.

  Take a read of this document from HP. I have recommended to perform a factory reset.

  If the factory reset does not help, then it is definitely time to Contact HP or the dealer where you bought your 7 Slate.
