Date not in canonical format format

Hi all

I have a date in the format DD-MM-YYYY field. Now, I want to change to DD-MM-YYYY.

Necessary, the date in XML format is not in canonical format which is YYYY-MM-DD.

Is there no workaround solution to achieve this?

Thanks in advance,
Imtiaz.

A solution I can think of is to use the substring.
Try

If your date is in the format MM-DD-YYYY, it will convert to DD-MM-YYYY

    Can you get it someone please let me know why it does not work?

    It's just a piece of sample code, to write data in a txt file and then read it.

    First, if a file already exists when I want to write in it and I chose 'Replace the file', he says stop and double track.

    Second, if I write a new file, it says: error 85: Scan failed. The input string does not contain data in the expected format.

    EDIT: see post.

    Just for reference, I solved it by using the match VI pattern in a loop and then using the table of indexes for individual values.

  • Problem with date in the canonical format

    Hi all

    I have a test with the sql data source:
    Select sysdate double;

    The result is the BI Publisher
    <ROWSET>
      <ROW>
        <SYSDATE>2009-05-07T14:56:19.000+02:00</SYSDATE>
      </ROW>
    </ROWSET>
    that is the date and time for the selection. It displays 14:56:19 as time what exactly is the time that I started the selection.

    Now, I create a template in Word only display the sysdate with parameters field:
    Type: Date
    Format: dd-MMM-yyyy hh: mm:

    and the result is (copied from the PDF):

    07-May-2009 * 12: 56:19 *.

    Any ideas how to solve this problem? It seems to me that the section '+ 02:00 ' to canonical format is interpreted as a modifier in the model...

    Thanks in advance :)

    You must set the timezome as

    America/New_York

    By default, it will be GMT.

    The area in which you are?

    There is the function, where you can specify the zone and get this time exactly.

    But I do not understand how to solve this problem. The date is correct as far as I KNOW.

    I suggest you to check on another computer and see if it opens, if it is not not the diskette is damaged you must format in order to to use again.

    Note: reformatting or formatting of a disk deletes all the data on the disk. Be sure to back up data before doing so.

  • Windows 7 does not recognize FAT32 formatted devices / Windows asks you to format a USB device in FAT32

    I have a question about Windows recognizes only not USB devices formatted in FAT32.

    The biggest symptom is Windows asking to format any device that has FAT32 (indicates RAW file format in disk management. The format will fail unless NTFS is used (which is unacceptable for the SD cards used in cameras, etc.).

    I have a Toshiba Satellite P755 with USB 3 port and three USB 2 ports, running under Windows 7 64-bit. Type computer apparently and for most device type is not relevant to this subject after doing some extensive research.

    1. I tried SFC / SCANNOW with no result

    2. I uninstalled all the USB drivers and drivers of devices on SD card with no result

    3. I created a new profile and flies over my files with no result

    4. I searched the net and found a plethora of people having the same problem on several versions of Windows but not confirmed of the solution.

    5. I tried the fix for troubleshooting of hardware from Microsoft with no result.

    The devices I've used are pen drives, to several types of SD cards flash drives and external hard drives. These devices are confirmed to work on several other computers configurations in different windows. When formatted in NTFS all works but like I already said, SD cards will not work in the cameras etc. to NTFS.

    I think that the computer of wiping and again is not the problem. After researching, I discovered this problem has been around for many years and followed by Windows XP throughout Windows 8 forums and blogs that I read. I'm surprised Microsoft doesn't have a fix for this yet.

    Hello and sorry for the delay.

    I tried this before with the same results. My pen drives and large SD card worked until the problem occurred. Windows 7 has lost the ability to recognize the FAT32 devices.

    I think I found the problem, however. My USB key must have failed in some way. After checking all my media work properly on a free desktop running windows 7 64, I jumped into a thumb sansa player and that's when I started having errors on this computer as well. This time, no data survived.

    I went back to my laptop and formatted by a new copy of windows Professional 64-bit. The laptop works great and recognizes all FAT32 media I throw at it. I do not use the USB key suspect for fear that it might cause problems again.

    And so far so good a few weeks later. Everything works great. I used FAT32 media without any problem. I'm sure it was the reader. I guess that he worked at masked the fact that it was the cause of the problems. Strange that this would produce windows FAT32 to reject.

  • Min Date with 12 hour format

    Dear friends,

    I'm working on a query... I have the date field... I want my date field date min show but also it must show in am / pm format.

    now when I am using the following query shows the date min perfectly, but it shows the date in 24-hour format because I use 24-hour format.

    (select min (to_char (date, "MM/DD/RRRR HH24 double:MI:SS')).))

    but when I apply 12 hours in shape its been not indicating the date of min

    (select min (to_char(date,'MM/DD/RRRR HH24:MI:SS am ')) of the double.

    Help, please... and kindly let me know the reason for this

    You do not MIN date, you MIN of the chain.
    Put the MIN inside your TO_CHAR:

    to_char(min(date),'MM/DD/RRRR HH:MI:SS am ')

    In general: almost always is the outermost TO_CHAR function called, so that the inside work all work on dates, and then the to_char is just to format the result as a string.

  • Error message - the value entered does not match the Format of the field

    I get an error message in Adobe Pro x: "the value entered does not match the format of the field [JF13].

    I have JF13 scheduled as follows:

    Calculate tab:

    If (Number (this.getField("ck4").value) > 0) this.getField("JF13").value = Number (this.getField("FL019").value); else this.getField("JF13").value = "";

    It is programmed in this way, so if the user checks the checkbox in front of the field, only then will JF13 fills a value, which pulls of FL019. I also value parameters 'number' because the data to display in the form of a dollar amount $xxx.xx.

    FL019 is a hidden field on the form which takes an amount of a central computer and its settings can also be programmed to 'Number':

    I get four popup windows with the above mentioned error message, and the only way to make the stop message is to remove the «number» field format. However, when this is done, if a number any ending in a zero is entered, it cuts the zero. This is not acceptable either.

    Is there some kind of script that I could add or otherwise to prevent the error message and the cutting out of the zero on JF13?

    I'm not very proficient with javascript, any help would be appreciated!

    SQLERRM: ORA-01861: literal does not match the format string

    I want to assign the result of the function to_char to v_ext_ship_date. What I am doing wrong? Thank you.

    Hello

    It's just one of the reasons for which the storage of dates as VARCHAR2 columns is a bad idea.
    Apparently, some (maybe just one) this column values is not the right format. To find malformed (the kind that cause the ORA-01861) values, you can do something like this:

    SELECT  primary_key
    ,     estimatedshippingdate
    FROM     cram_stg
    WHERE     TRANSLATE ( estimatedshippingdate
                , '012345678'
                , '999999999'
                ) != '99-99-99'
    ;

    It intercepts any mistakes as the 32nd day of the month (let alone ' 02-29-11'). See the next thread of a way to do this:

  • Check out pivotTableView! 1 is either missing or does not support this format

    I asked with pivot table that is displayed in the form of bars, and once (two views) displayed as Hello.
    I used the view selector to let the user select which display he wants to watch.

    Suddenly, after that it already works fine, when I changed the selecotr to view the display of bars (by default) at the sight of the pie, I get the following error message:

    "Discover pivotTableView! 1 is either missing or does not support this format'

    During execution of the method of creating the same request responses, it works fine.
    There is no question about data, as bars goes ok.

    No one knows the significance of this phenomenon?

    Without seeing what you were doing, try this: remove the second point of view completely and rebuild it by reduplicating the first PivotTable, then by changing the display of the graph to reflect the pie chart. Then, change the view selector to enter the newly created view.
