Date of certificate

Hello

I would change my "certify and add a visible signature" layout of the time. Now it shows date (American style), time with seconds and even zone. All I want to show that it is date of European style. example 25 July 2015 would be 25.07.2015. Is this possible?

Concerning

Matti

Hi Matti,

The time is displayed in a format called generalized time which is defined by the ISO 8601 (ISO = International Organization for Standardization), it is not in the American format. Unfortunately, there is no method to change the format.

status of app store of the mavericks is downloaded - I need an up-to-date copy - certificate has expired on my copy

If you have the Mavericks.app installed on your Mac or an external drive connected, the App Store is picking up.

If you disconnect the external or move the copy of the application to a USB etc., eject.

Relaunch the App Store and see if you can now download Mavericks from the pga of purchases.

You can also set the date and time manually on your mac, uncheck the set the Date and time automatically

Choose a date as February 2, 2016. You should be able to install your earlier copy of Mavericks.

Set the date and time right now once done.

You can also get your Apple Store if you are near one.

  • Too much security certificates, how to remove?

Over the years working for different companies, I added specific security certificates. Apart from completely remove every trace of FireFox is a way I can just remove security certificates and start over?

I like to keep my favorites and some addons. I don't remember which security CERT I needed and that I did not.

Can I just delete them all and they ask to add as needed? I uninstall and reinstall?

    TY!

There is usually no need to add exceptions for certificates unless you visit the website of the do not send all intermediate certificates or otherwise does not provide a string that accumulate certificate root.

Always check why the site is not approved (see technical details) and if this is due to an intermediate certificate missing then see if you can install the intermediate certificate from another source.

  • Install the certificate in ASA

HI a new ASA, I'm trying to install the certificate. But when I paste data of certificate, I got an error message. Please see attached screenshot. Can anyone hear me? Thank you.

As noted in step 5 of the procedure of Cisco, you save the CSR to a text file.

This file must be sent to your CA.

For a public certification authority, it is through a web portal (more common) or e-mail.

If it is your own internal CA, and administer you it, you could just copy the text on the tool server certificates issuing CA.

  • All of a sudden, after a update of firefox, I get "this connection is untrusted" for Facebook, no matter if I use http: or https:, WHY?

All of a sudden, after a update of firefox, I get "this connection is untrusted" for Facebook, no matter if I use http: or https:, WHY? Here are all the details of the error message:

    This connection is Untrusted

You asked Firefox to connect safely to facebook.com, but we cannot confirm that your connection is secure.

Normally, when you try to connect safely, sites will present a reliable identification to prove that you're in the right place. However, the identity of this site cannot be verified.
    What should I do?

If you normally connect to this site without problems, this error can mean that someone is trying to impersonate the identity of the site, and you should not continue.

This site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HST) to specify that Firefox didn't connect safely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate.

Facebook.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown.

    (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)

  • I get "this connection is untrusted" on almost every page

So I had the breakdown and failure of the internet last night because of a rainstorm last night. When I get up to power everything and control the internet, Firefox has become completely crazy!

I keep getting "this connection is untrusted" on almost every page of Facebook, YouTube and almost all the other sites I've tried. In addition to this I get an opening pop up asking you what Firefox should do with this file? Finally if I add an exception for this site, the page opens, do not know if it is the right term, not coded? No images, text and links.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that has not worked.
