    Hello

After a clean install of Windows my PC appears twice in "manage devices". I can't delete the old one (button remove grayed out because the unit has signed in the last 30 days).

I thought 'Deauthorise All' could solve the problem, so I clicked on it... the message of not being able to deauthorise within 90 days appeared so I guess it exercise was carried out... but all my PC's are always in the "device management".

Must "Deauthorise All" withdrew all PC to "Manage devices" or are these separate things?

    Thanks in advance,

    SJW

These are different things. Authorization/deauthorising only applies to iTunes on the computer and an account may be authorized to the maximum of 5 computers at a time-, there is no time limit to allow/deauthorising of individual computers, you can do it as often as you want ("deauthorise all" cannot be done once every 12 months). Allowing you to play this content of accounts and synchronize on iPods and iOS devices.

Devices of management section lists the computers or devices that are associated with an account for example by redownloading past purchases on them, to aid automatic downloads, iTunes game: view and delete associated devices in iTunes - Apple Support

Once associated, you cannot remove the link until 90 days have passed (I believe it's an attempt to try to stop people by logging into their account on other computers, and redownloading people and sharing of purchases).

You can have a total of 10 devices/computers associated with an account, but as a computer must also be allowed until he could become associated, at least 5 of the 10 can be computers.

  • I really wish that I don't have to Deauthorize all of my devices - I am disappointed that Apple does not allow me to see the computers I've allowed and allow me to Deauthorize them individually

I bought a new computer and you want to authorize iTunes.  Only to discover that you can authorize only 5 computers simultaneously (which is disappointing to say the least in the first place - why the limit.  Also, now I learn to disable allow a computer I have, I have to disable allow all my devices... my iPad, my iPhone, my MacMini, etc..  one of my devices is actually used by my parents in their cabin, and if I disable this one... it's 4 hours away just to reauthorize again... not very efficient if you ask me.  Is there a way to allow MORE THAN 5 arbitrary and if not, then is it possible to allow out of an individual computer to the account - and if not, how many days will take apple to find a way to do?

I have to allow my iPad, my iPhone out of all my devices...

No, you don't, iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) devices are not allowed for an account and therefore cannot be deauthorised - only iTunes from the computer are allowed/deauthorised.

Individual computers can only be deauthorised directly on them.

  • Deauthorise all else fails to run

    Dear support team,

After a clean install of Windows my PC appears twice in the list of devices in iTunes.

In addition, iTunes says I have 5 authorized PC while I see that 4 PC items in the list (and of course my iPhone and iPad).

    1. can remove you the oldest instance of the PC that appears twice?

    2. can you let me know the 5th PC which is not in the list?

    3. If 1. and 2. are not possible, you can deauthorise my PC for me?

    Thanks in advance!

    SJW

You are looking at two different things, the permissions of the computer and "manage devices" is separate (a little). Authorization, you cannot see the number, there is no a list which computers (iOS devices need not authorizing) are currently allowed to the account; the "manage devices" section lists computer, and iOS devices that are associated with your account (e.g. by redownloading past purchases, using automatic downloads, family, sharing, iTunes game, iCloud music).

1, 2, 3 - no, we are fellow users on these forums.

  • Photos shared on iOS devices use data?

I have created a number of shared albums in the Photos on my Mac and iOS devices.

When other people visit then shared albums, what data are used to access?

I invited a person to see a shared album which had mobile data off on their iOS device and no wifi. However, they were able to access a shared album which surprised me because I assume they would have need of mobile data or wifi.

Shared albums are stored locally on the iOS devices. Photos downloads smaller and optimized versions pictures of an iPhone. iCloud, sharing photos - Apple Support

  • pop up saying that a device is connected to my Imac with IP

My iMac is completely compromised after having an intrusion on my internet router.

I supported everthing this summer.  I tried to reset my IMac to factory settings.

A pop up came in September saying that another device is connected to my internet

connection with an IP address.  I called my provider of intellectual property, and they said it was a

Xerox printer.  I don't have a Xerox printer.

I followed all the steps in trying to get rid of malware and successfully, I think, to get rid of

It is for 1 or 2 days.  But something else is in my system.

Because I tried to protect my computer.  I'm changing my internet provider

This week and I would like to hide my IP to my iMac.

Hide my IP to my iMac when I'm on the internet?

    K

Depending on your router model, there should be a way of

disable DHCP.  It is a method used by the router to assign

IP addresses on your local network when any device attempts

connect you to it.  You can then manually assign IP addresses to only

These devices that you want to have access to your router.

If you haven't already done so, you must also change the password (and also

username if the router required) to something else and much stronger.

If it is always the default, with which it was delivered, anyone can understand this.

In addition, if the router is a network capable wireless as well, you must disable the comments

    access and create stronger passwords.

Also, make sure that all firewalls is enabled on devices and the

    router.

As every router is different, you will need to check the manufacturer's instructions

    to make these changes.

After getting a new MBP 15"I have now two devices listed under my identifier Apple as 'Cynthia MacBookPro 15"... »

If I wanted to continue to use the other oldest, I wish I could tell them apart. How can I rename them? I thought naming drives was sufficient, but these names do not appear (these are the names that a be assigned in the pane sharing preferences).

Remove the device that you want to rename your Apple ID account. Go to system-> sharing Preferences and change the name as desired, then re - register this device with its new name.

  • Remove device management profile?

    Hello

My friend has an iphone 6 and it hes a company certificate (Swisscom). 1 minute after activation almost all applications disappear, and you can only make calls and take pictures.

Is there a way to remove this kind of profiles?

Nope. It is the purpose of the profile.
DEP he made sure that the iDevices purchased by the company is recorded in the DEP always apply the strategy of the company via a profile (using an MDM server) when you set up.

The only way to change the restrictions is to ask administrators to the Swisscom MDM server - they can modify and manage anything remotely. I'm not familiar with Mobileiron (MDM server provider) - perhaps that he may try you on https://mds01.swisscom.ch/login.html with his credentials of the company? But the chances of him being able to manage the device in this way are very thin.

My condolences to the Swisscom employees if this madness is standard. There is certainly no need to cripple a phone in this way, unless you work for an agency of 3 letters or something.

    Hello

I have recentrly improved Mavericks to os Sierra on a MacBook Pro of the retina, end of 2012.

Now, I tried to install Win 10 64 bit Education via bootcamp.

I used a pendrive of 32GB, formatted using disk utilities, downloaded the Iso of win and to create the key USB WinInstall Bootcamp. Everything worked well. But when the Mac is restarted for the first time (just after the establishment of the size of the partition to Win), a black screen appeared saying «No device startup...» ». Then I tried to turn off the Mac and now restarted the hold option key. But once again, it shows only the normal Mac partition to boot from a USB key.
