Debug parameters does not

I can't configure 3.0 with Glassfish 4.1 and Apex 4.2.4 ADR. When I try to run the default page of Apex (http://localhost:8080/ADR /) I was all just an error page 404, with no other useful information. The little localhost:8080/i/apex_version.txt thing works as expected (which I assume means that the i.war is properly deployed). And I get messages from success in the server.log file when I deploy the i.war and the ords.war. Starting the Glassfish server gives no error, nor do I see any error name of user and password in the server.log, which are typical for the names of username/password wrong configured to the Apex and the REST of the service accounts.

I did (and again and again, and again) the configuration of the various changes that have been suggested here on the forum (ords.war of installation, user ords.war, ensured that the PL/SQL gateway is added, etc.) as well as to ensure that I can connect to the database with different user accounts. I read, re-read and re-read the documentation. I try you simply debugging to go on the browser when I try to run the default Apex page and I'm not having any luck.

Here's my default.xml

After I have change the configuration I stop / start the Glassfish domain.  However, when I try to load the page by default (localhost: 8080/ADR /) I get no joy. An error page 404 with no debug information. Obviously I'm doing something wrong here, but I can't sort it out for the life of me. Is there some kind of a trick to get debug info running after changing the default.xml (Yes, I stopped and restarted the Glassfish domain)?

Another bit of info that may be useful is that I am able to run the ADR in stand-alone mode, very well. It does not work through the configuration of Glassfish.

The Oracle Data Services REST server info: GlassFish Server Open Source Edition 4.1

Kris, nothing goes the server.log after my configuration change. And the good news is that I now know why. The cause is that I used a relative for the configdir parameter path, when I ran the ords.war installation/configuration. I have learned that my problem because I had another instance to compare to.

Those of you who know, without doubt, imagine using a relative path for the configdir parameter is really bad. Very difficult to solve and maddening to not see the changes you make appear in Glassfish deployment. In any case, I got my debugging information and I get is no longer a 404 error on the page by default non-descript, I see a login page of the Apex generator!

So the short answer to this particular failure mode is the following, always use a reference absolute path for the configdir parameter!

Now for the configuration of multiple instances on a Glassfish server...

    Hello

We are in the process of migration of the APEX v3.2.1 on the database 10 g to v4.2.1 on database 11 g. APEX APEX is installed fresh on 11g. I was testing imported and exported of v3.2.1 application in v4.2.1. I was not able to activate the debug mode in the developer bar when the application runs. The url changes, but no debug information appears as was the case in v3.2.1. I see a partial set of debugging information when I open then see the debug window in the bar of developer. This show of debugging is incomplete. By that I mean I don't see not session state change and I don't see any information in the function "wwv_flow.debug".

I read in a thread for an earlier version 4, toggle the debug field in edit application properties and apply, but that no longer works. Something to note is that when the debug field in edit application properties was set to NO, I don't have the error "Debugging is not enabled for this application" when you turn on the debug mode.

I created a zero of application form and debug mode does not work either.

There is a global setting in administration somewhere I should activate to get debug information in the page as in v3.2.1?

No debug information appears online in the APEX 4.x page. All of this appears in the debug window.

Note that the debug window contains an interactive report that applies a default filter for the last visited page. You might not see the report of the desired page. Remove the filter from the page to see all the currently available debug reports. There are also separate reports for each page show/accept, then make sure that you select the correct phase.

I think maybe I saw a bug for this, but I can't find a reference at the moment.

  • News / announcement module parameters does not

The current Knowledge Base help lists these as usable for the module parameters Announces:

    {module_announcement}

    View news list

    Parameters

    • filter
    • Agenda
    • noTemplate
    • effect
    • targetFrame
    • useBackupTemplate
    • resultsPerPage
    • hideEmptyMessage
    • rowLength
    • sortType

    So, if I want to name the length of characters displayed, I would need to use the "rowlength" parameter which appears as the 9th in the order. for example. {module_announcement, one, 300}

Simply, I can't get this to work. regarless if I use {module_announcement, one, 300} and {module_announcement, one, 300} and let the last setting off is still does not work.

At anynone has managed to get this working or I misinterpreted the Knowledge Base?

    Hello

Please refer to this documentation for module parameters http://kb.worldsecuresystems.com/134/bc_1345.html#main_Announcement_Modules

RowLength is not applicable for the ads. We will work to update the documentation on helpx.adobe.com

  • Look for iOS parameters does not show

    Hello

    Flash Pro CS6

When I click on the settings icon change App, nothing happens.

The only way to challenge is the movement of the file available somewhere else or change its name.

I'm tired to do every time I want to put the window.

Is there any solution for this?

    Hello

Thank you for your detailed answer, but I don't want to use the XML, it would be the same. Whenever I want to change something, I would need to open XML.

the problem is not me not knowing how to do the settings on the XML, this is where the dialog available named 'settings for iOS', which aims to make adjustments in an easier way for developers/designers and this dialog box does not appear.

I'm tired to change the available file name in order to bring this dialog box.

If this does not work well on CS6, there should not be such option in CS6, it's as simple as that.

I had to install CreativeCloud and things work in CC, but for those who have the same problem and using CS6, the only thing I can say is GOOD LUCK.

    Thank you.

  • Dynamic Url parameters does not?

Hi, don't know if I forget something ridiculously simple, but I'm having a problem using dynamic link url parameter.

I have a repeating region from the dynamic text that selects a category based on a name of a recordset object. I have the text from sylvie a category.php page link and click on the section parameter in the link dialog box, enter the category name in the box, click the brightening and select the appropriate field. DW CS 4 still prints the link in the PHP code as that--

    < a href = "SpryAssets/category.php? <? PHP echo $row_rsCategories ["categoryID"];? > = "> <?" PHP echo $row_rsCategories ["categoryName"];? > < / a >

that does not work. To make this work, I constantly have to manually change the PHP code to something like this-

    < a href = "category.php? categoryID = <?" PHP echo $row_rsCategories ["categoryID"];? > "> <?" PHP echo $row_rsCategories ["categoryName"];? > < / a >

I tried to follow the tutorials in David Powers and other books that use this method with a lot of attention, but with great frustration that my Dreamweaver prints never good code.

Dreamweaver generates the correct code. You're just doing it wrong - as do many others.

Here is an illustration of my Dreamweaver CS4 book. Inspect it.

You type the variable name in the field name of the settings dialog box, and then click the lightning to the right of the value field. What confuses you and so many others, is that there is also an icon of lightning to the right of the name field.

Click the lightning badly, and you get the result you did. Click on the right pair, and Dreamweaver generates the expected code.

I created an extension for CC, then changing all by following the link above, tried to start in 2014 CC I get the same error, even if it worked in CC.

Anyone know how I can solve this problem, or what is the cause?

It's true and if you're on Maverick, you also kill the cfprefsd process (or close the session and connection or restart). Mavericks has a mechanism of caching for this kind of properties so that this change does not take effect until you do this.

  • CSS does not not in the browser and have been debugging for hours, is there something I missed?

Recently, I built a website for a client (boelmanshaw.com) in Wordpress. CSS of the site fits fine in all other browsers (IE, Chrome and Safari), but it does not work in Firefox. I've debugged the HTML code as I could, and I went through the CSS several times to see what could be the problem. I have not found anything that would be a problem. • Technique to locate VI which is 'suspended' / waiting for debugging. Pause button - does not work.

During development, I have experience at the time that the high-vi simply "blockages"The debug break button does not break in the program - it turns red but nothing happens.

I can stop with 'Button give up', but then I see not how vi was stuck in a wait state - this information is lost.

Is there a way to determine 'the State' s sub - VI in a running application (during development).

    as a list:

    A.I: running

B.VI: IO queue, in queue or similar

    C.VI: finished

This would help locate the problem.

    Some clever stuff?

I looked on the forum I thought that this was discussed previously, but I found this thread:

    http://forums.NI.com/T5/LabVIEW/how-to-find-which-sub-VI-is-running-in-highlight-execution-mode/m-p/...

If your problem is easily reproducible, you can use the option 'Retain the values of thread' to see what happens and when (the "last updated" timestamp is saved and you can read it with a probe).  In this way, you can quickly follow the data flow and see where your program hangs.

Otherwise, you can dig into your subVIs and watch the execution of each arrow.  Search in the help file "VI-toolbar buttons" and look at the top of page three icons.  An icon is actually absent from this list, and it's another arrow, slightly different performance, which indicates that the VI is part of a running application, but is not running.  By finding that VI is in fact running vs. just waiting to be called, you can find out where your problem is.

  • 881 failure: The Application author does not match debug author token

Hey guys, I'm a newbie at software development and don't know anything about the other languages except HTML and CSS so I decided to try the apps program to see how it works and if it's the right think for me. I received my 'key' for the playbook and generated and download the Debug Token. My first idea was to put the Hello World app (that I copied on the BB site) on my playbook to see if everything works, but every time I try to download the app, I get "the application failure 881 author does not debug author token.

I have tried a few troubleshooting myself (make another Debug Token, adding the and a blackbery - tablet.xml with these fields in the config.xml file and) and still nothing. Do you know the guy what is happening and what should I do to solve this problem, so I can download my apps on my playbook?

    Thank you

    Oskar

There is an easier way... and maybe just an alternative.  I had this problem before and the reminder to change the bbwp.properties file to run.

For more information, see this page:

    https://developer.BlackBerry.com/HTML5/documentation/runnning_unsigned_apps_using_a_debug_token_1866...

    Copied from this page:

    For PlayBook OS applications

    1. In the SDK BlackBerry WebWorks for BlackBerry Tablet OS installation folder, navigate to thebbwp\bin folder.
    2. Using a text editor, open the bbwp.properties file.
    3. Add the path to the file to debug token using the debug_token > tags.
      path to debug token file

Example: file bbwp.properties with the path to the file debug token

    -quiet
    C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry WebWorks SDK for TabletOS 2.1.0\jre
    AirAppTemplates
    AirAppTemplates
    C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry WebWorks SDK for TabletOS 2.1.0\bbwp\blackberry-tablet-sdk
    ext
    C:\my_debug_token.bar

You can now load your app on a debug-enabled BlackBerry device without having to sign
