Decommissioning of 10 Windows to the internet Windows 7 does not

I got Windows 7 on my Dell laptop and upgraded to Windows 10, I didn't like because it doesn't work well at all, so I decided to go back to Windows 7. After that the internet does not at all, with the error message:

"He has no Internet connection. There is a problem with the proxy server or the address is incorrect ' (ERR_PROXY_CONNECTION_FAILED)
And when diagnosing errors that I get the message: "the remote device or resource does not accept the connection.

I tried to solve this problem in several different ways from the suggestions in this forum and others, but nothing worked and I still get the same error message. The only option that I am yet to try is to reinstall Windows 7 on my laptop, which brings me to my next problem. My version of Windows was preinstalled, so I do not have the installation disc, so I then tried to use a family computer to download it and transfer it to my laptop to install (if that's even possible). However, the laptop is 4 years old, so the sticker on the bottom that contains the product key printed on it disappeared and it is unreadable. Then, I had a program that was supposed to be able to extract the product key of the computer laptop itself, which he did, but I thought it was a generic Dell key and not my own unique and as such, it was not accepted during the attempt on download.

So basically I'm trying to get all the assistance we can solve the problem of the internet directly, or if there is a way to get my key product sent to me so I can see if the download of Windows 7 and put it back will help. I am currently a student graduate at the University was without internet on my laptop for about a month now has been extremely annoying, so any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Hollo,

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community. We understand that you have found a problem with your Internet connection.

Error ERR_PROXY_CONNECTION_FAILED occurs when your PC is infected with malware. These malware will change your browser settings that refuse you to visit several Web sites. And this is the reason why you get this error.

You can follow the steps below to solve your problem:

Option 1: Turn off the Internet Explorer proxy setting

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click Tools and then click Internet Options.
  3. Click the Connections tab, then click LAN settings.
  4. Uncheck the box that says use a Proxy Server for your LAN.
  5. Click OK.

Option 2: Reset TCP/IP by using the NetShell utility

  1. Open command prompt by performing a search for cmd in the search bar, and then press ENTER.
  2. Type "netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt" and enter.
  3. Restart your PC.

According to the guidelines of your product key concern, please consult the manufacturer of your computer to give you more assistance since you have a preinstalled Windows version. You can also check here the response of Stuart W J: How to recover the product key Windows 7

Let us know how things are going.

Kind regards

    Hello lailaanis

First of all exit Internet Explorer. If you want to enable the download button when you hover over a video in Internet Explorer 8 you must go to tools > Preferences > download and save. Then to fix your problem, first UNCHECK the checkbox enable Web download and record in the window right under download and recording options, click OK. Then the Real Player output.

Now, open Real Player again, follow the steps as tools > Preferences > download and record and this time this BOX called Web download and registration. Click OK and real player output.

You can also use other services like http://www.keepvid.com/ to download videos from sites of common videos easily in different quality formats which can be played in Real Player.

  • Pavilion HDX 16: Windows 7 does not start after the upgrade to Windows 10

    Hello

I have a system to dual-boot with windows 7 and ubuntu (with Windows 7 and NeoGrub Bootloader Windows Boot Manager).

Recently, I upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10 via free upgrade offered by SM. However, I didn't like windows 10 and tried to upgrade to windows 7 by the following settings-> update of the security & -> Recovery-> Go Back to Windows 7.

After the long process of decommissioning, cannot start windows 7 and the "Startup Repair" tool began to run. However, he could not solve the problem. Other recovery options 'system restore' and 'image system recovery' is not such that it could not find any restore point or the image created previously (I'm sure it were created before upgrade restore points).

So, although I can boot ubuntu without any problem, I can't start windows 7. After the "starting windows" screen, I get the blue screen (a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down...).

I intend to use the DVD to install windows 7 for repair, but

    (1) I don't know if I can boot from the CD because it is a dual-boot configuration

    (2) I'm afraid of losing work ubuntu OS.

I appreciate if someone can help me find my Windows 7. I thank very you much for your time.

Sorry, but there are a lot of reports on forums of Win10 the option of GoBack does not always work correctly.

You should be able to boot properly from the same DVD of Win7 if you dual-boot with Ubuntu, but be aware, if the startup repair works (you may need to run three times), it will replace the link to start Linux in the MBR and after that, the machine starts immediately to Win7.  You will need to reinstall GRUB to get Ubuntu boot back.  You may be able to fix the boot of Ubuntu using repair boot: Boot-Repair - Community Ubuntu Documentation

  • Windows XP does not start. Can I boot Windows from a disk so that I can recover the data?

Windows XP does not start. Can I boot Windows from a disk so that I can recover the data? This should be a CD because it doesn't have a floppy disk on my laptop drive. It is maybe that my hard drive has begun to fail and therefore cannot locate XP startup files. I can not start using one of the other methods of starting for example. Safe mode. If I can recover the data, I can then reload Windows and check the surface of the disc etc etc. Thank you all for your comments. Steve

Lately, I'm leaning toward the Hiren's BootCD you can download here:

    http://www.hirensbootcd.NET/

On the left, click on download, scroll down, choose the most recent version

The download link is a little hard to see.  It is at the bottom of the page, above the drop for older versions and looks like this (click this component to download the ZIP file):

Direct HTTP mirror + Torrent, Torrent Magnet

Click the "Live HTTP Mirror" link to start the download and save the ZIP file on your desktop of somewhere that you can remember.

The ZIP file is large, so the download will take probably some time to complete.  Then unzip the download to extract theHirens.BootCD.ISO file that will be used to create your new bootable CD.

Create a bootable CD. ISO file is not the same as simply copying the. File ISO onto a blank CD.  You must use software that includes how to burn a. ISO to a CD to create a bootable CD.

File ZIP the Hiren is the file BurnToCD.cmd that you can double-click to launch it.  The BurnToCD.cmd will use the file BurnCDCC.exe to burn the. ISO file onto a blank CD using your existing CD burner.  You can also use your own burning software as long as your software is able to create a bootable CD. ISO file.  More modern burning programs can create a bootable CD. ISO image.  Create a CD from an ISO image bootable is not the same as just the file on a CD burning.

If you need a simple and CD burning, this is a free software popular software:

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your new bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.
These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When starting on the Hiren's CD, you will see a menu of options.  Choose Mini XP.

It will appear while Windows is loading and you will be presented with a desktop computer that has the look and feel of the interface of Windows Explorer, you are already accustomed to using.  You will feel at home.

Using the Mini XP, you can access the Internet, maneuver around your system, copy files, replace the files, run the scans for malware, etc.  There are dozens of free and useful tools included in the CD that can be used to repair your system, or copy files to another device such as a USB device or an external drive if drop in trying to repair your system.

If you want to see if you can fix your system, describe what is happening when you try to start and to answer these questions:

What is your system brand and model?

What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, MSE, Comodo, etc..

You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?

  • Windows Update does not work after the hard drive has been replaced

    Hello
I have the same problem, replaced in my Toshiba HD, rebuild from Sysimage, Windows Update does not work. A ran "fix the problem with the Microsoft Windows Update is not working.
    Problem still exist.
The message that I got while trying to update: "Windows Update cannot currently check updates,
because the service is not running. "You may need to restart you computer.
Stop and then restart the service, still no luck.

I ran Windows troubleshooting. He finds two problems with Windows Update components, it corrects.
    The problem still exists.

    The other post:

    Another interesting fact:
After the reconstruction the new disk, user account control does not recognize Windows programs.
for example: execution of Perfmon.exe, the Publisher is unknown! However, when I download the program Windows FixIt, Publisher is recognized as Microsoft Windows. It seems that user account control does not recognize the Windows programs that had found the new HD, but acknowledges those who is downloaded from the internet.
I guess there is a problem with the license, Windows was preinstalled on the Toshiba and replace the hard drive could have caused a few conflicts of licensing.

The same problem. Cloned old HD on a larger hard drive. Everything worked perfectly except NO indexing and update WITHOUT windows - the two recurring problems that seem to appear on the forums after a change of hard disk.

INDEXING resolved with change to "Intel rapid storage technology." Google what I put in quotes, choose the Download Center and get the specific to your OP and the controller software.

UPDATES have been a little more frustrating. The microsoft .fixes and convenience stores were without help.

Go to control panel / system and Maintenance / administration tools

    Select Services

Stop the Background Intelligent Transfer Service

    Stop Windows Update

In 'My Computer' go to Windows / Software Distribution

Right-click "DataStore" folder. Rename it to Datastore.old

    Rename the folder 'Download' Download.old

Return to Services and restart the Background Intelligent Transfer Service and Windows Update.

Look for the updates. It will take some time because you deleted the database.

    I hope this helps!

You have to take care when downloading updates. You have 5 years updated and hundreds of updates of all shapes and sizes. You'd be more likely to succeed if you download batch. If you download too many at once, you can easily find an update leads to failure. You can then a lot of wrong to identify the problematic update.

You would also have a more reliable and faster internet connection if you are using an ethernet cable, rather than a wireless connection to the router. Also, your computer must be connected to a power supply. Do not perform large downloads when the computer is dependent on only the battery for power.

An ethernet cable is an expensive purchase.
