  Please make sure that the image you are trying to synchronize is not absent in the Lightroom Catalog.

• Mobile Lightroom do not sync

  I installed the desktop applications and mobile. I did a sync of sucecssful. Then I installed on the laptop and did the same, after agreeing to spend the catalogues. Then when I went back on the desktop (after turning off synchronization on the laptop) I found that after the transfer of 2 files synchronization jammed on the rest of the files building intelligent previews (255 in total). I tried to turn off sycning for collections, but that doesn't change anything. I deleted and reinstalled the desktop applications and mobile. When opened again the files were still synchronization, even though nothing was supposed to be the case. It remained frozen at 255.

  Obviously, there is some file or set of files that are in the program which are not deleted by removing apps, but I don't know what they are - I need to make a clean start on the sync to mobile. Can anyone help with this?

  No to the second point. Well, could you share each file individually and save to camera roll then sync to a PC/Mac but it's tedious and none of your changes will be "editable".

  Connect to www.lightroom.adobe.com and access your account. All of the images?

  If they are not transferring to your PC make sure sync is enabled. Under the nameplate in the top left corner of the Lr window click and see if Lightroom Sync is on. If not, press start.

  I have been using lightroom for 1-2 years now after moving to Aperture (already used on the PC for a week). I have about 140 000 pictures and videos on it, of which 95 000 are on lightroom mobile (apparently 90 videos online).

  I love it and I'm frustrated with these 'X Sync photos' on the left. Usually, I had some left of synchronization and collections quickly get photos online, but this isn't the case. I now have 3000 + photos waiting for synchronization (for the most part by adjustment for the photos I guess) and 1 new collection that I created yesterday evening (as there are 10 h) that contains previously downloaded photos no doubt only (and which are online) are simply not showing on my iphone Mobile with Lightroom or the web interface.

  What are the proposals? Can I send a diagnosis form to Adobe to watch? Please do not suggest to remove the file from .ircat to computer synchronization, did before and what I see on the forum is simply not helping issues in sync, I also check the web interface, but I almost 100 000 pictures I looked more later thousands (when I imported all was synchronized) and no. blackened photographs.

  I want to use Lightroom Mobile as much as possible, but it has a lot of problems or is so slow (by the way, I have 50Mbps download and download 5 Mbps). Sometimes, nothing moves for days.

  Hi Jeff,

  When you do a new collection in Office LR I select generally all the thumbnails in this collection and build smart preview on the fly. In the menu: click on library > Previews > build intelligent surveys. I score then the collection for synchronization, and which seems to speed things up. Give it a try.

• 'mobile Lr' collection of icon not visible

  I have a trial of CC membership.  I have synced my LR Office and the iPad. Just to try, I made a collection on the desktop with 3 photos (called "synctest").  There are 2 pictures in LR on my iPad.  I turned on sync and 3 photos in "synctest" appear on the iPad, and 2 photos of the iPad appear on my desk - I can see all the photos of 5 if I click on «All synchronized photos»  On my LR Office it shows the correct number of photos in "All synchronized photos" (5) BUT on my desktop there is no record in Collections called 'Of Lr Mobile' as shown in the tutorials.  Anyone can help to explain why he isn't here, and how to solve the problem?  TNX

  The collection of"LR Mobile" is not created automatically more except if you create a collection on your iPad, date at which this collection will appear on your desktop to the title of the collection "of LR Mobile."

  The Photos are in the special collection "photographs all in sync," as you have noticed it. The location of the actual file (not collection) where the photos are stored on your desktop is controlled by the Lightroom preferences, under the 'Lightroom Mobile' tab, in the section 'location '.

  These small improvements in functionality are all new with the latest version, it is not surprising that you found an outdated tutorial.

  II LR Mobile you open a collection and click on the name of the collection at the top, you should be able to choose the sort order.

  You should see options for the capture time, date, file name and custom.

  Mobile Lightroom is just an opinion and should not be confused with the Collections.

  Try to add an image to your desktop in a collection that is also synchronized with mobile phone.

  You should find the image in the collection on your mobile phone once synchronized, and it will also appear in the display of photos of Lr.

  Suggest you follow the instructions below:

  • Stop Lightroom
  • Open Finder
  • Click the go menu > choose go to folder
  • Type ~/library and click Go
  • Follow the path: Caches, Adobe, Lightroom, sync data
  • Rename sync.lrdata to old.lrdata - sync
  • Launch Lightroom and select synchronization and check if you are able to synchronize.

  You have the choice of synchronization of specific collections you want.

  In the Panel collections, there is a sync button on the left of the collections that you can choose and set the collections that you want to synchronize.

  And the same button can be used to stop the synchronization for a specific collection.

  to make it quite clear, Lightroom can't sync between two desktop computers. It can synchronize between only one computer and one or more mobile devices. Synchronization between computers has been a very requested feature, but Adobe has not given us yet. You will need to designate one of your computers as your main machine mounting and synchronization here. There are tricks to get all changes from one computer to another in phase, but these are not negligible and may corrupt catalog if you're not careful.

  In the upper left corner of the main window close the model name, there should be a drop down menu that has "sync with LR Mobile" as the first option. From there, you should be able to disable it.
