Defragment the scan error in file C:\i386\ AGT041F. DL_

I just do a cleaning on a laptop running Windows XP - SP3.  Sophos Endpoint Security and Control put several files in quarantine and then nettoyeent (Troj/FakeAV-DGF, Troj/ExpJS-BM, evil/JavaJar-A).  While in the mentality of the interview, I used the control panel > Add / Remove programs to free up disk space and I wanted to defragment both of my Fat32 partitions.  Defrag my D: partition went well but my C: partition does not.  The process stopped during the scan and gave the error message "the scan has been canceled because an error occurred in the file: C:\I386\AGT041F.» DL_. »

Is that without doubt related to infection or cleaning?  How can I fix the error in this file?  What does this file do?

Thanks for any help on this.

First, check the files and the folder structure against your original installation CD/DVD. If they are the same, go ahead. If this isn't the case, then the information below are completely false.

An i386 folder was probably created for local storage installation files. In this way, any update or reconfiguration requires the original CD/DVD may be referenced to this place instead. The creation of this record was a common practice, because it also makes the actual process for faster installation due a HDD read vs from the CD/DVD drive.

If there are problems in the files, simply use Ctrl + A and then SHIFT + DELETE to permanently delete all files in the folder and copy your original CD/DVD installation files in the i386 directory. Don't forget to have the option hidden and system files lit when you are copying. If your original version had no service pack, you can integrate service packs in the installation files.

BTW, it seems that that particular file has to do with The Microsoft Agent. Not particularly important file or windows feature.

  • Executable cannot find the custom error code file

I'm building a LabVIEW 2013 application on a Windows 7 computer and deploying it to a Windows XP computer. My application has a custom error code file, stored in -- errors.txt, but my executable on the Windows XP machine can't find the custom error file and returns only the string of appeal for all errors that occur.

When you use is not an installer, I tried to copy the error code at all locations listed here: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/6077DBEDA4F9FEE3862571F600449501 but the application still does not load the custom errors. I have the box checked to "Error Codes customized Include" in the construction specifications.

When an executable of construction and the development of Windows 7 to XP, where do I put the custom error code file? It is found in Program Files (x 86), but find not because it's XP?

It's been a few months that I posted this question and I do not know if someone cares about this track, but the solution I found was to put the custom in error code file \National Instruments\Shared\Errors\English\

There are other places that the runtime will look for the custom error codes (I tried all the ones listed above), if the same error codes exist in 2 places the error popup will appear two error messages. Error default 1, it looks like:

LabVIEW: An input parameter is not valid. For example if the input is a path, the path can contain a character not allowed by the operating system such as? or @.
    =========================
NOR-488: Command requires GPIB controller charge controller.

So if you have a custom error code file and it is available in 2 places that LabVIEW RTE check error codes, you will get the same message before and after the =.

List the error as "still included" file when building the executable or by checking the box to include files in error did not tour, obviously. Unless you create a Setup program to distribute the application, the error code file must be moved manually. Shared\Errors file works best for me because it's a place that makes sense.

Also, don't worry - it doesn't me taken 5 months to understand this point, I do not update all my loyal followers (ha) with a solution.

  • What are the causes "error of file photoshop-37".

I saw a post for this problem 4 years ago, but he had no answer. So I was hoping a response has resurfaced since then.

When you import a menu again in again in Photoshop, you receive this error message.  I start with a submenu of model again, making minor changes to the first button in Photoshop, do a save as in Photoshop, import of the menu in still and changes come in fine.  I make the same changes to the subsequent buttons, except in Photoshop, and the changes will be fine.  But after several cycles, I get the error "File error Photoshop-37" message and I am dead in the water and cannot continue. I use this method for years and this is the first time I met this error message.

First of all, I apologize: the mistake of photoshop only we see often is - 1. I totally missed your - 37 and in the text - 45. I don't find any success on the web with-37.

Secondly, I am surprised that you get results positive working out of google reader. Try the local files only to see if that fixes the error.

Thirdly, if you want to use one save slot, do it outdoors yet fully (copy the model of the library to change open, another location, then save under), then import the file.

  • Scan of a file only works on the first line

    Hello

I'm new to Labview (see 8.6) and I'm running on this problem.

I use the Scan of a file to get a certain amount of information for the installation of test.txt.  The data of the file looks like this:

    AAA 1

    BBB 2

    REC 3

I noticed that the Scan of the file works for only the first line.  Trying to get data that are not in the first line results in an error 85.

    Any ideas? Thank you

It's all in what the scan of the file reads, and what is the next cgaracter in the file.

Your first analysis of the file reads up to but NOT including the first newline in the file.

The second read readings where the first reading was arrested and is expected to see 'B' as the next character, but sees the new line instead, and if the analysis fails. You must specify second reading formatted to await the return line.

You can do this by making the FIRST character of the format string space, that will tell it to expect a number any of charaters 'white space '.

Yo can indeed put a space at the beginning of the format string in your first analysis of the file and it will match with zero white space characters before you see the AAA. By doing this he also tolerate to see the spaces and tabs before your AAA or BBB identifiers.

    Rod.

  • How to restore the documents now say "error reading file"?

I have a certain recorded documents I can't view... They are still there, but when I try to view them I always get the message "error reading file" many of them are imprtant to me and Iunfortunately cannot replace them. Even when I find out my back up, I still cannot get them.

    Help!

    Hello

    1. what documents do you speak?

    2. were you able to view these files before?

    3. don't you make recent changes?

I suggest you try to restore the computer to an earlier point and check if it helps:

  • Error - backup file is not found or is not the file you requested.

Original title: restoration of Windows XP utility gives "file not found error.

    Hello
I have Windows XP SP3 on my system. I tried to restore my backup file I had created a few months back. and I get the following error:
"Backup file is not found or is not the file you requested.
even though I am pointing to the correct file.

It is possible (although I'm not sure) can I have left my backup file a different location for a more current. However, in the Restore Wizard, I'm still that it points to the current file.

I followed the instructions of Dena in the following post:
    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/windows_xp-system/cannot-restore-files-from-computer-backup-on/4c3ac6eb-c8f5-4DB9-BA56-e158e057f828

However, it does not help. When I try to catalog them by following the steps, an hourglass appears, but there is no algorithmic activity event. So if I move my mouse even slightly, the hourglass disappears and is replaced by the pointer. Then when I try to work with the backup file, I get the same error as above.

Please help me with this restoration! There is a huge amount of data which suddenly went 'pfoosh' one morning. people say we should have backups for buffering against these events, but a pity that my backup doesn't even work! Help, please! I would really appreciate it.

    Thank you

    Hello

    ·         You receive a specific error with the error code: "the backup file is not found or is not the file you requested"?

    ·         Is the backup stored locally or on an external drive?

You try to run chkdsk on the drive that contains the backup. Later, check to see if the problem persists.

My problem occurs when you try to copy on the same computer I am on (or to a remote drive).  I get one of these messages in the dialog "error copying file or folder.

Impossible to copy 'Filename': data error (cyclic redundancy check).
Impossible to copy 'Filename': cannot read the source file or disk.

    Hey Norton victim,

    (a) what is your operating system?
    (b) what program file you are not able to copy?

As the files are copied, Windows verifies that the data that has been copied are the same as the source files. The cyclic redundancy check (CRC) error occurs when the copied data does not match the original.

This could be down to a mistake of the DVD, the disc goes wrong and has failed to 'read' the file properly or the file was placed on a bad sector on your hard drive. (Could be just down to a scratch or some marks on the dvd, maybe clean it if necessary and try again).

I would run a check disk (CHKDSK) against the drive to rule that, although lacking - you have another dvd player to try the disc again? If so, try the dvd in another drive, or even a completely different machine to try to pin-point the problem.

At the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:

    Chkdsk /r

Note: If bad sectors are detected when running check disk utility and attempt recovery of bad sectors is verified during the verification of the drive for errors, data in the bad sector can be lost as they tried to recover bad sectors.

How to boot in Safe Mode and Clean worked for you?  Not at all useful?

You said about this 2 weeks ago?

Yet once, I fell in this place and the time and effort wasted because MS Answers forums invite to no system information when a new question is asked - but I digress.

Update of security 908513 is included in Service Pack 3 update.

Since forums MS Answers asks you any information from system when a new question is asked, we don't even know what Service Pack you have.  If you have SP3, you already have the update.  Two weeks and we don't know what is your Service Pack, what is your antivirus/antimalware environment...  We know that you have XP Pro 32-bit however.

What you're likely to have is an extension of the Explorer Shell with a malfunction, and you can usually understand as follows:

When the Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) is wrong (especially when right click), begin to suspect third-party add-ons explore extension.

Those who would be the Explorer extensions that do not belong to Microsoft.  This means that extensions that you have added.  Solution Explorer extensions are generally well and installation of certain applications will install extensions from Explorer solutions for you, give you a choice and sometimes they can be added without your knowledge when you install the new software.

Solution Explorer extensions are sometimes added as a new right-click option, you see on folders and files (like the scan of this file, open that file, play this song).

If there is something in particular that you do during exploration that you know will be the cause of the problem, which will help focus on the problem and the help that you suddenly know, when you have found and corrected.  If you can get there when you want it, make an adjustment and then there is no message the next time you don't do anything, you do, you have found and corrected.

If you can really achieve almost everytime you do a right-click and choose something like delete or copy, you're well on your way to understand.

First of all you need a way to see what modules explore you have installed now and a way to turn them off (not uninstall them) so you can understand that we are at the origin of the problem.  You can have a lot of extensions not installed Microsoft don't even know you about.

Download ShellExView here to see what Explorer extensions you have loaded:

    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/shexview.html

ShellExView does not install anything on your computer, simply of runs and displays.

After launching ShellExView, under Options, choose "Mark non-Microsoft Extensions" and extensions not Microsoft will be pink, clear, but on some systems which is a difficult color to see, so click on display, choose the columns and move the column Microsoft closer to the top, so you can see on your screen without having to scroll left and right.

Click on the column header for Microsoft sort display (by clicking on the column of Microsoft) then all the non Microsoft extensions are on top and easy to see.

Non-Microsoft extensions would be things you have added (non-Microsoft) and are what you should be suspect.

You can also Google the name of a suspect add-on and see if there is any success about the errors with the extension and to what other people have done on it... Maybe just to get an update of the program that adds the suspicious extension.

    You can Google something like:

    Explorer XP crashing

(you must complete your suspect on behalf of add on)

See what kind of search results hits you get and are looking for solutions or situations that sound like yours.

I'm not a defender of trial and error, but I can't think of another way to do...

Right click and disable the extensions one at a time non-Microsoft keep a list so you can enable them again later if you wish. The result of the change is immediate and no reboot is necessary.  Test your failure condition.

If you recognize all the extensions that have been added or recently downloaded, start with these first.

Disabling the extension does not uninstall the extension - it is just disabled.

Disable them one at a time until your right click on do not generate an error, then restart and test again.  You have disabled the last extension would be suspicious.

You can also just disable all non-Microsoft extensions, restart and allow them one at a time until you find the one that generates the condition.

The hope is that you will find an extension that caused the error, and then you can figure out what on this subject - either uninstall it or see if you can get an update of the author of the extension of their web page.

I have not your problem, but I can when you toggle extensions, the extension is immediately turned off, to disable an extension does not require a restart, but if you find the problem, I reboot and retest in all cases to be sure that the problem has disappeared.

If you post your non-Microsoft extensions list, maybe someone will recognize it as a potential problem.

If you find the offending extension that's the problem, please let us know what it is that I can add to my list.

because of this, use to defrag times. To fix the files fragmented on any hard drive, open the system

Properties, performance, advance, the page file, change the button, select the hd, press "no paging file" value

Enter 2 X, close, restart the pc. Once in xp, open cmd, type: CLEANMGR then select the hd,

type: Defrag D: D: being fragmented, once through, hd output cmd, return to system properties, set

the swap file for hd to "let the system manage", click 2 x game, close, you get a couple of windows

saying: 'replace the file' say Yes close... Sometimes you have to try several, but you will succeed...
