• Job to revive after delay

  Hello

  We have a lot of network spots in our environment that causes some work to terminate abnormally.  Is it possible to set up a job to restart after a delay of X minutes?  We have configured a Job event with a replay (Max = 3), but do not know how to delay that rerun for a period of time (like 15 minutes).  This would give time for the network problem to solve.

  Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

  No, the product cannot it do out of the box. I presented a request for improvement year last to accomplish all this, which was added to an existing one.  Please also submit a request for improvement for this same behavior to get the top pull.

  Please create a new event of work or change existing, in order to enable a trigger to pause for some # seconds/minutes before performing a subsequent action. Should also have more sophisticated control for chaining several task event actions. State of the work during the 'pause' should be 'waiting on the dependencies.

  -Wait 5 minutes before running a replay and wait 5 minutes between each replay (maximum length = #)

  This will allow us to compensate for changes in the environmental conditions that may have caused one completed abnormally status, but we have no logic in the work to wait before trying again.

   Request to add "with delay" functionality to existing "rerun" functionality. This would provide a time delay before rerunning a job (to allow conditions that prevented job from running prior, etc.).

  What I found was a delay between entering characters for the search and the updating of the report. I noticed this in another case where I had a button toggling on KeyPress.
  
  Is it a problem with the browser event, or my logic DA? I'm event thought since rollback doesn't seem to update the region either.
  And to recreate this problem on apex.oracle.com, I noticed that session state is updated a keypress behind, too.
  
  For adding info in this demo, I display some items more, located in the pl/sql in the DA, if everything goes well beyond noting my observations

  In general, KeyUp is a better event for that. Have you tried KeyUp?

• Re-create the delayed data post-upgrade migration work?

  After setting up our new 12 c SGO (approach-system-2, which is both an old and new are running at the moment), I spent a number of test for the new OMS12 machines and performed the work of migration of data charges and deferred taxes.

• Add a delay time before pushing in a table?

  I have a function, loadXML, that loads an xml file with a list of locations to OTHER xml files.  In this function, I load each individual xml file and perform a new function, parseXML, each of the variables that I wish to submit individual xml files in a table.

  It all works fine and dandy on my computer, but when I run it online it breaks down.

  What I believe happens is that the original xml file is loaded correctly, but because the referenced xml files are on the web and are different sizes, they stop in the load order and data not corresponding to the xml file that is referenced in the referenceListA table.  (ie. all data of every referenced file item1, item2 and item3 will stay together because they are called at the same time, but it will be mixed from the referenced xml file).

  This normally wouldn't be a big deal, but because I also want to create a link to the xml file that is referenced, not sometimes the link will lead to the right place (it will lead to another xml file in the list).

  Someone at - it ideas?  I thought the addition of a time delay somehow in the loadXML function to give time to load the file newxml, but still problematic...

  How can I make sure that the referenceListA [i] mathes until its own information?

  I just pulled the 11.1.1.3 production suite and I have at least 2 users in remote places with uber cooldowns and submission to SmartView.
  
  They use a spreadsheet which is distributed by their Ministry with clusters of tabs with data that gets drawn into three tabs that project forms open with SmartView.
  
  When you open the file of the first step is to recover in the forms. It takes 15-20 minutes. Submit the data takes longer. Users must submit several times while forecasting, so this kind of delay is unacceptable.
  
  Apparently not every remote user is having the problem, but the only users of the problem are remote. By distance I mean they work in connected WAN offices connected to our main campus by T1.
  
  I was focused on network is the problem this morning, but now I'm less. Web planning and the add-in 'legacy' (accessories for you, Matt, for the new terminology) work very well. The problem is SmartView himself, I'm almost convinced, but it could still be network if SmartView and APS do a lot of talking back, and in the 9.3.1 SmartView and planning do not have.
  
  Please someone with ideas on this pipe and help me understand this. It is important that these people can provide.

  ^ ^ ^ Just out of curiosity and based on your comments about IE7 work fine, could you create a workbook that has just one in there and try that? You are really dealing with apples and pears when you compare a book multifeuille and a single form.

  Another approach might be to see if the forms are slow in these places, or some. Small shapes work well? Those how do you average? There may be a threshold which acts as a performance tipping point? Perhaps identify who (if it exists) would help your COMPUTER staff on the right lane of the network.

  I appreciate you have probably thought about this already, so I talk about above just in case.

  No, it's on or off only, there may be a 3rd party app that can do it, but you will need to check the app store.

• very long delay before printing

  My MacBook Pro is around the age of 18 months. It is updated at El Capitan.

  Maybe a week or two ago, my printer stopped printing normally. I bought the printer at the same time as the Mac. It's a HP Officejet 8610. It is connected with a time capsule wireless newish.

  When I select print, a normal icon on the dock. Opening it displays a message to printer, printer not connected. I fought with him for half an hour or more, then give up in disgust and head to do other things. When I return to my office, there is the impression.

  I deleted the printer in system preferences, then reinstalled. I have reset the airport utility. I turned the printer on and outside.

  With AirPlay (or Bluetooth), there will always be a form of delay or latency with streaming audio.

  In this scenario, an audio stream (on AirPlay) will go first to your iMac to AirPort Extreme and AirPort Express Terminal.

  To help understand why there will be delays, let's look at high-level "behind the scenes" about how works AirPlay:

  For the AirPort Express (AX), audio input is provided mainly by iTunes. Of course, it can also get feedback from other sources as you know, as of Rogue Amoeba's Airfoil.

  For streaming, iTunes or wing does most of the work. What is app reads audio content standard (AAC, MP3, audio books, Internet music streams, etc., it decompresses these file formats and creates what is essentially a raw, uncompressed audio stream.) This stream is compressed using Lossless Compression of Apple (via a QuickTime codec), encrypted with AES 128 bits and then listened (airplay) with an AXE. The stream is buffered for about 2 seconds until the stream is sent. The AX deciphers the flow, decodes and exports in a digital or analog PCM (using a built-in DAC) flows to its audio analog-to-digital versatile optical port.

  So, with the above, you can see that the tone does not simply move source to the destination without much more things. You will not be able to entirely eliminate the delay. Sorry!

• Office 2013 on Win7 using bootcamp has delay time

  I use Win 7 teacher on a piece of Macbook Air 2014 with bootcamp 5 and MS Office 2013. Up to 4 weeks everything works well, and the performance was great. And then I got the delay time:

  -Closing remarks is the longest in about 4-5 sec

  -editig one Excel cell and switch to another will cost about 4 to 5 sec

  - and so on

  Thanks to this performance, it is horrible to work. I have also removed Office and install it again without any result.

  Anyone have some advice for me? Is there some patches in which software never cause this?

  Or am I alone with this?

  Your is no longer in a Mac environment, if this side of "windows" because you're not virtualize, you run Windows as a complete solution for Windows. OS X doesn't play not any part of your experience. Windows as OS X should be updated with patches and update securities, the latter is the only support Windows offers for Version 7, it is out of development and was removed by Microsoft for more than a year. All compatibility fixes should come from Microsoft, see microsoft.com for the availability of these.

  Outside the correction and the issues pourraient be caused by:

  Disk fragmentation that is common in windows. (However it is not under OS X, don't defrag on Mac, OS updates will do everything if it you better than anything you can buy)

  Font management (again, on the side of 'Windows', your OS X fonts do not play in this)
