very long delay before printing

My MacBook Pro is around the age of 18 months. It is updated at El Capitan.

Maybe a week or two ago, my printer stopped printing normally. I bought the printer at the same time as the Mac. It's a HP Officejet 8610. It is connected with a time capsule wireless newish.

When I select print, a normal icon on the dock. Opening it displays a message to printer, printer not connected. I fought with him for half an hour or more, then give up in disgust and head to do other things. When I return to my office, there is the impression.

I deleted the printer in system preferences, then reinstalled. I have reset the airport utility. I turned the printer on and outside.

I believe the delay between the choice of printing and when the printer starts his work about half an hour.

Open system preferences > printers and Scanners and then select the print tab then check or right on the printer on the left then click: reset the printing system

Then try to print.

Our printer worked beautifully for a long time.  Now, he seems to have an unusual problem.

When print us something, there is a long delay before the start of printing.  Once printing begins, sometimes to normal speed.  I have not measured the delay to see if it is still the same amount of time.  The delay is measured in minutes.  Often I'll print something and then go do something else until I hear the printer start printing.  During the time I am waiting, responses to the ping packets very good printer.  It is suitable to the management tools and access via its web page (as long as you do not ask to print something).  That tells me that it is not a network problem.  T.He network in our House is wireless.  We tried printing from several different computers to Windows 7, and the behavior is the same.

The version of the firmware on the printer is ORL1CN1547AR.  Updated HP says that there are no newer drivers available for my system.  I find anywhere that my computer is going to give me the version number of the installed drivers.

I tried power cycling the printer several times.  My laptop is restarted daily.

No idea where to go from here?

    Hi ppeters86,

Please try printing HP and the Scan doctor for me!

What happens if you make a copy of the glass of the scanner of the printer? You get the same type of delay? Copy of Documents or Photos.

In the meantime, we will try to disable IPv6 on the printer to ensure that IPv4 is used by your printer and your router on your network.

    • If your printer has a control panel with display, find the IPv6 settings in the advanced network configuration menu and set it Off orDisabled.

    • If your printer does not have a display, use the built-in webserver (EWS) to disable IPv6.

      1. From a computer on your network, type the IP address of your printer in the field URL of your Internet browser.

        NOTE:

If the Web page appears empty, try another Internet browser.

      2. Click on the network or network tab and open the section or page corresponding to your type of network: wired or wireless.

      3. Select enable IPv4 only (or similar).

        Figure: Example of IPv4 configuration

      4. Click on apply and wait for changes are confirmed.

      5. Try to print again.

  • a long delay before video begins to play, remote only

    Hello

My problem is that there is a long delay before that we can see the beginning of the video when connect us to the server from a long distance.

When I connect from the same subnet, it's ok: less than 1 second.

When I connect to a nearby location (2 km from here) the delay is 15 seconds

When people connect to places very far away, it can be 2 minutes or sometimes the video does not play.

y at - it a parameter to change this?

    Thanks for help.

This Protocol is being negotiated in different places? RTMP, rtmpt, rtmpe, rtmps?

I guess you have a proxy server or a firewall in place which prevents the default rtmp connection (using port 1935) put in place and the logical kicking of retry in and subsequently another protocol or port is finally working.

  • really long delay before rendering starts?

I have this ongoing problem (CC2014) where there is a long delay before rendering starts. Nothing fancy or heavy, no effect, MacPro/Yosemite/64 GB of ram, made to the internal SSD flash drive. Sometimes I see a 2, 3, 4, 5 minute delay before construction starts, then my comps short and simple, restore in seconds. Just AE text, shape layers and files placed. No business network, no other applications running.

    Any ideas?

    Mike

If you use multiprocessing, turn it off & see what happens.  If the time-out period goes away, you may need to reassign your processors & memory for multiprocessing in the AE preferences.

And it never hurts to purge the memory & cache before a final.

  • My HP OfficeJet 6500 wireless printer prints slowly with very long breaks during printing...

I saw a very old post on this but no solution so I'll try a new position.

Also, I'm not sure I'm even barking to the top of the tree on the right.

My PC is running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and is up-to-date with all the updates.

Recently my Officejet 6500 a more printer E710n-z began to print very slow with long breaks and, in some cases, falling output and in other cases simply do not print.  If I print the various printer and cartridge of test pages from the printer itself, they have long breaks but seem to finally print correctly.  I've been playing with that try to circumvent the problem as long as I'm not really sure print the (from the front of the printer) are always correct.

I uninstalled the printer and all its associated and software reinstalled using the latest download available on the HP support site, but it made no difference.

After sanding my teeth to a measure of costly troubleshooting, I bought a set of completely new and installed HP cartridges.  Once again, no difference.

You don't know if it is a herring or not but when I printed him using both iPrint from my iPhone, as well as the HP ePrint feature email, while still having the very long pause he eventually print a text message only correctly.

Finally, on the first time I printed the properties/test page it printed the HP, logo, displayed while the ink was drying for what seemed like a minute ago, powered form to another page, delayed for awhile and then printed broadband nonsense, form fed once again, and after another long break printed what appeared to be the upper third or the word Windows.

Sometimes when printing from the iPhone, it will display a low ink message - even if it has a new set of cartridges HP - and sometimes the PC displays an error saying: he can't communicate with the printer.  Can I still access the printer with the function of Windows printer or HP web access so clearly the wireless network connection is still viable.

What do you think?  This old printer a year and a half has simply turned into an opportunity to mimic the famous scene copied from office space?  Or has someone else observed or experienced this and knows how I could solve this problem?

Thanks in advance for help you what can offer?

    Howard

    Redmond, WA

Thank you.  The article that you included was one of the first I found when I started researching this issue.  I also found articles on other uninstallation methods, as well as to remove and clean the printhead - everything I tried.

Only, the printer is connected to the wireless network.  The power is connected directly to a wall outlet that I follow for the level of tension and the power used.

The problem seems to be resolved now.  If she does not return to its recalcitrant ways in a few days, I will consider this closed.

    Here's what I did...

I was trying to uninstall from the control panel.  I noticed that when I would get the ini file, read all entries in the menu 'Start' mistake had been removed, but immediately after recognizing the error it would make it back to the starting point and put everything back the way he found.  I tried to use the Task Manager to kill msiexe point of error, but it could still roll back.

Then, for who knows what reason, I tried running uninstall directly from the menu start.  This time, when he stopped and I killed the uninstall process, he stayed collapsed.  I then used the Fusion driver to remove any HP printer drivers that followed RevoUninstaller Pro to find and remove all files followed by CCleaner to clean the registry and associated registry entries.  I'm not advertising or advocating, these are just the tools I've used.

After a reboot, the printer seems to be [finally] completely gone.  I installed the software again and this time it seems like it should be and [so far at least] works properly as well.  I do not think that I messed up [voluntarily] with this printer because I bought a few years ago.  I don't know what caused it, but it seems that I had several instances of competitors or software drivers in layers.

I made a clone of the disc and then tried again to uninstall the printer.  Even if it was just after a successful installation and a reboot he would always leave with the same error "Unable to read" in the same place.  The error code in the case where the file is the same as that used by other systems for "not enough contiguous disk space.  I have 384 GB free on a 1 TB drive and Norton reorganizes the disk every week so that the error number can be a distraction, but I have yet to find something better to inform me.  What initially may also be why the restore will not complete successfully or the other.

Ah the joys of PC ownership.  You have to wonder how many PCs get retired every year simply because the owner has not been enough tech-savvy and pay someone else's expensive with no guarantee of success.

    Sigh...

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • Why Windows 8 have a long delay before the launch of startup programs

In Windows 8 there is a long enough period for the launch of the programs in the startup folder or in the register as startup items. Why is this? And how can I remove or reduce the delay? Please note that this is not a problem with too many programs trying to launch. There is that one program listed on startup with a new installation of Windows 8 and the system is running on an SSD. It's so clear and deliberate, time not only a slow system.

Reading this thread, I just want to point that Microsoft quality replies here, it's horrible, beyond and Microsoft should be embarrassed to make them like that in public. I recommend delete them all and by publishing an adequate solution.

Reminder: The OP says that he is a clean install. They moved just a program in the startup folder and they're asking why - this delay, indicating precisely is not a slow computer. The advice they get is:

    -Run the diagnostic system

    -Start in Safe Mode

Hello? This is a clean install! Of course, none of this assistance.

What actually happened is that there is, as the OP stated, before advisement in Windows 8 delay as all the start-up programs are executed.

It can be flown in the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Serialize\Startupdelayinmsec in the registry (including the set to 0, then the programs are executed immediately).

It is the response that should come from Microsoft. Everything else is a rubbish - model answers that everyone make Microsoft look green, as if they a) don't know their own product and b) don't care even clients who need assistance.

The Bing team should also be ashamed of this site as their best result. Google does not work.

  • HP LaserJet P1102W long delay between pages with narrow (4 "wide) paper stock

I use Adobe Acrobat Reader X (on Windows XP) to print a page 100 PDF on HP P1102W, with 4 "wide x 11" long paper in the main tray.  There is a delay of approximately 15 seconds between pages.  As soon as I share the narrow paper for regular 8.5 "x 11", the printer takes the job at normal speed.  The PDF itself has a page PDF 4 "x 11" size.

I tried implementing a custom 4 "x 11" paper size in the print preferences and setting the paper type to envelope, but nothing done.

I tested with 5.5 "wide and 7.5" wide paper stock, and they have the same 15 second delay.  As soon as I put 8.5 "wide stock in the status bar, the printer goes back to full speed.

Note that even with the thin paper stock, the first page of the job prints immediately.  The delay occurs between page 1 and 2, 2 and 3, etc.  So it seems strange that the printer does not have the 'calibration' delay before printing the first page, it delays only on the following pages.

  • Problem with the listening Service: Long delay beginning listener, intermittent connections

I have problems to connect to my Oracle database.  I don't know what was the cause, but now when I connect to a database that has been working well for the past two years, I usually get an ORA-12541 error.

I run lsnrctl status on the server and get a prinout like this:

Copyright (c) 1991, 2010, Oracle.  All rights reserved.

    Connection to (DESCRIPTION = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST=dqaswn02) (PORT = 1521)))

    AMT-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
    AMT-00511: no listener
Windows 64-bit error: 2: no such file or directory

I also tried to manually stop the service through services.msc, then by restarting via lsnrctl start, but when I do this I get a very long delay (10 + minutes) before he comes back with something like:

TNS-01153: failed to process the string: 0i

I'm quite lost as to what is wrong.  I've been messing around with listener.ora, but I don't see anything difficult in there.  Here's a copy:

    TRACE_LEVEL_LISTENER = SUPPORT
    TRACE_FILE_LISTENER = LISTEN PORT

A few times during that time, I was able to connect to the server, via sqlplus, however, it took 10 minutes before the connection is online.  Once I'm connected, I can ask my paintings as expected, but I need an application to connect.

If anyone has any ideas on what could be the problem, please let me know.

In fact, there was another thing, I changed when I finally got it works, although I don't know if it was related or not.  In my folder with my track logs, I had a huge (> 4 GB) listener.log file.  I deleted this file right before that I ran the command netsh command to reset and then restarted.  This file was also a bit special, because it had not been updated since around the time that I first encountered this problem.  It seems to be updated on a minute by minute basis, now that I've removed the old.  Is there a problem with this file becomes too big?  My drive was not out of space, but it is very curious that this stopped file update on the same day as when I started having the problem and now works properly again.  I wish I had noted the exact time until I deleted it.

  • Keyboard a long delay by typing, made noise of rattling on speakers for each trait.

I am running Windows XP on a Dell XPS 400 desktop computer. My keyboard developed a very long delay by combination of keys and would make a clicking sound on the speakers every time that a button is pressed. I used a Logitech wireless keyboard, so I changed the batteries, checked the range to the receiver, still nothing. I bought a wired keyboard USB (new Logitech), thinking that my wireless keyboard was bad. The wired keyboard does exactly the same thing. I checked keyboard settings and everything is set to the fastest setting. I have troubleshooted the device, and that it works correctly. I guess it's some kind of virus or malware, but I use McAfee and I didn't do anything. Also, I tried to do a system restore and I can get the system restore menu, but my mouse moves sporadically and the keys are unusable (it works fine everywhere else). The only command that I can navigate to with the keyboard is the RESTART button. So I can't run a system restore. Any ideas on what it is or how to get rid of?

Both the old and new computers use Windows 7 as operating system. Other programs can do a preview before print very well, it's not likely to be the printer driver or the printer. Is there a solution?

It's a problem with a component of your security software from Trend Micro for Firefox (TmBpFfCore.dll).

Your System Details list displays the installed Trend Micro extensions, then you can try to disable those.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe
