• Delete a digital ID in Reader XI

  Is it possible to delete a digital ID in Reader XI? It looks like Edit > Protection > settings for security that was available in other versions has been changed to Edit > Protection > Security and the dialog box properties no longer contains an option for digital IDs (remove or change the password). This possibility has been removed? Thank you.

  In XI reader go to Edition--> Preferences

  Click on the category of Signatures.

  Under "identities and certificates secure", click on more

  Select the digital ID and click on remove ID.

  Hi Noel2015,

  To create a new signature, launch Acrobat > choose Advanced > security settings. Click digital IDs on the left side of the dialog box to display your existing ID files in the upper right of the dialog box, click Add ID and follow the steps to add a digital ID.

  To remove the existing one, select the ID and click on remove the ID in the upper right, you must enter the password to delete the existing code.

• Deletion of digital signature options

  We use Acrobat 9 Pro (9.4.5) on an XP PC. We use the Windows certificate to certify our digital signatures. We use different signatures depending on what we will sign for - some signatures indicate fatherhood and a few signatures indicate review and approval, but we do not use forms that indicate one or the other, so let know us in the appearance of signature that we choose.  So when sign us a document, a 'Sign the Document' pop-up window appears.  Our created ID is the default value.  In the middle of the window is a menu drop-down title "appearance."

  I want to delete the options in this menu drop down and re - naming of the other options.  I tried to create a new look with the same name as a previous, hoping he would too write one, and now I have 2 with exactly the same name, which is even more confusing.  Please help, how can I clean this combo?

  You can remove it by: Edit > preferences > Security > Signatures Digitial > appearance > [choose an appearance] > remove

  QUESTION: My preferences are inaccessible in first Pro CC2015 - last version.

  I have them deleted (traditionally, Digital Rebillionish, & option + shift on the launch method.) I uninstalled and reinstalled first Pro CC2015. I keep getting the error:

  

  I am unable to make the adjustments in the preferences panel - by clicking on the button 'Ok' does nothing.

  BACKGROUND: Yesterday, I received this error when you try to update the desktop creative cloud application:

  

  I connected with Adobe CAT - they remote to my computer, various files deleted and obtained the updated desktop application. I then ran all the CC updates.

  * SUSPECTED the CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM: I've also updated my CUDA driver to 7.5.26 after the desktop app & all currents updates have been installed.

  I have received several warnings .kext after doing this:

  

  Add ' l TROUBLE SHOOTING ACTIONS:

  • I rode the nVidia back from two versions of the driver - but always was error.
  • I've deleted the offending .kext files - but was always error. (Note: drive NVidia is now back to 7.5.26)
  • I reinforced with the settings of the user to confirm that I had Admin Access
  • I have created a Root user & tried to spear the first in what - but was always error

  Questions preferably seem 101 - I never - not been able to locate the file in question to allow reading/writing to solve this type of problem.

  If it is a Cuda - nVidia conflict. I don't know how to solve.

  Any thoughts appreciated. Thank you for your time.

  The solution to this problem:

  -Running application cleaner creative cloud

  -manually remove suspected corrupt files Adobe

  -Reinstall the CC desktop application

  This allowed the creation of launch and allowed me to make adjustments in the files preference but also to search for audio plugins.

  The above has been accomplished by a communication specialist support Adobe CHAT on my machine remotely.

• Back to zero computer and now I do not have access to my books

  This morning when I turned on my computer, Microsoft bypassed my security and attempted to install Windows 10 WITHOUT MY CONSENT.  I immediately stopped creating a closed error and I reset my computer.

  Now I can access is no longer my books in Digital Editions, (there are only 2).  How can I fix it?

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  It is now correct.  I had a tech from the Kobo, which helped me to correct the problem by downloading desktop Kobo.  I deleted Adobe Digital Editions and will never use this product again.  What should have taken a few moments to solve actually took 5 days.  Yesterday I spent 3 hours back and forth with all kinds of people who were supposed to be 'in the know '.  I am totally disgusted with the technical support offered by this company and never buy one of their products in the future because of my experience.

  When I try to apply my signature using standard 8 I get an error "Exception Keyset platform there is no error code: 2148073494. Does anyone know what this error is and how to fix.

  Under digital IDs to security Settings\Digital IDs\Window, I have an ID that appears to be invalid and States ' certificate selected there are mistakes: not valid time "and indicating that the certificate is not reliable. When I try to delete the ID I get this message "deleting a digital ID is permitted if the ID has been created by Adobe Reader or Arcobat version 8.0 or later.

  My signature has used to work before my TI rolled on my desk in a new area and changed the Admin rights don't know if that caused the error in the first place but they where it is impossible to get my signature works again.

  Any thoughts?

  In all probability the digital ID has expired. Ago an expiration date in the security settings dialog box, what does say? If indeed the digital ID has expired and you want to remove from the Windows certificate store, you will need to do this via a Windows interface, not through Acrobat. Like many things, there is more then one way to go about this, but the easiest is to start Internet Explorer. In Internet Explorer, select the Tools menu or button, then Internet Options in the menu dropdown. Then, select the content tab in the Internet Option dialog box, and then click the certificates button.

  Here is where you will see that the identifications digital loading in the Windows certificate store. You can select the expired ID that you want to remove, and then click the delete button, BUT FIRST, I suggest strongly that you export the ID in a file in the event that you need back there for any reason any. Think of this as the escrow or archiving of the digital ID just in case. Once you have saved the digital ID to a file, then you can remove it knowing you could revive at some point in the future.

  Of course, if it has expired, you will need to obtain a digital ID cool if you want to digitally sign PDF files, but that's a separate debate.

  I'm having a lot of trouble trying to remove files from the Digital Image, Library 2006 Starter Edition.  It is in such a mess with files for all my music files, Readme files and many other files that have no photos or videos.  I tried everything to remove these including uninstalling and reinstalling without the time, but it keeps always pick up these files and is therefore very difficult to find the image or video file that you need.  I want to delete all the files in the library and implement only the image and video files, which I need.  Can anyone help please?

  Hi volunteer J - I found the POD PD3 file, but when I go to change the type of file to the FORMER, he said that changing a file extension can render the file unusable.  I have copied all the Microsoft file along with the POD file, but wonder whether he should actually do this.  Advice please. -Thank you

  It's just a standard message warning... If you renamed the file back to Pictures.pd3 all
  would be as it was before you it renamed to Pictures.OLD.

  Of course rename will make it unusable, but it's what you need to do if you want to delete the library.

  Renaming or deleting the file Pictures.pd3 will force the Digital Image to create a new Pictures.pd3 file.

  If the warning message affects you... try to rename this OLD_Pictures.pd3 way

  Then go to hkey_current_user\software\adobe\adept

  Right-click on adept... delete it... Reinstall additions digital adobe

  When I do not remove the review of the Scout, the comments show. I don't want to use all my memory on the conservation of the comments in the review tracker!

  I think that this is on purpose.  The review of files is deleted on the server if the author removes their "Sent" in the Adobe Tracker program review file review.  What we do is: once the review is completed, create a copy of "archives" that has the comments embedded permanently. Then you can remove it from your tracker, which removes the review and comments. Adobe sees comments shared as temporary spaces, I guess. Logic, if you look at it this way.

  If your procedure requires to keep a review will never, well, I guess you need to keep in your tracker.

  You can hide the old comments by creating a folder and moving them here (right click "sent", "create a new folder"). I don't think it's "with the help of your memory".

  I downloaded the latest exe file, but when I try to launch it, told me "access denied." I use this program with my e-reader. Help!

  The access denied message comes Windows when you try to open and download the Digital Editions 2.0 exe file. However another user found a way to solve this problem. In the property There is a question indicating that the program has been downloaded from a different computer/location. If this is disabled, the download will continue without difficulty.

  I have a strange behavior with data value references in LV OOP:

  I would like to equip a class with a reference to data value. When the first instance of this class is created, I create a new given reference value and a semaphore and put it in the cluster of private class data.

  Edit: If I read that data value references immediately after that I called the class constructor and if I put a probe on the semaphore, I get the "invalid" reference as a value, even if the address of memory has not changed. Strange!

  Yes there is! All refnums LabVIEW are garbage collected from the VI Tope level in the hierarchy was created the refnum goes inactive. So if you have an initialization VI which is started as highest level VI and that creates your DVR and the semaphore and initialize VI is started dynamically (whose actors are as far as I know) and then he finished his task Merry and inactivity, the refnum is destroyed and your other players no longer see an object invalid refnum.

  I am on my Macbook Air storage as whenever I backed up my iPhone, I also chose to "import" all the new photos in the iPhone.

  I think this is redundant with as backup iTune keeps pictures of the iPhone (from thousands of them since 2007)!

  Now my question is: How can I safely delete all photos imported from the iPhone and keep the rest that I took with a digital camera? It removes the original photos in iPhone too next time think I synchronize?
