I uplaoded a shared review in a digital system and cannot see all comments after the file is deleted from the review tracker. What is going on?

When I do not remove the review of the Scout, the comments show. I don't want to use all my memory on the conservation of the comments in the review tracker!

I think that this is on purpose.  The review of files is deleted on the server if the author removes their "Sent" in the Adobe Tracker program review file review.  What we do is: once the review is completed, create a copy of "archives" that has the comments embedded permanently. Then you can remove it from your tracker, which removes the review and comments. Adobe sees comments shared as temporary spaces, I guess. Logic, if you look at it this way.

If your procedure requires to keep a review will never, well, I guess you need to keep in your tracker.

You can hide the old comments by creating a folder and moving them here (right click "sent", "create a new folder"). I don't think it's "with the help of your memory".

  • Can comments publish at time intervals for a shared review PDF?

We have the documents that we put in the shared review for the collection of annotations/comments from various users. We would like to comments placed on the PDF to publish automatically after a period of time, if a reviewer forget to publish his observations. This means a critic who has placed several comments on a document, but failed to publish them, losing a job. In a blog of 2008 ("the same Page: why the comments shared?", by Ali Hanyaloglu), he said:

"4. you can work online or offline. Unlike clients based on a browser which required you to be online at all times submit and see the comments, cache shared comments on the comments that you add to the document until you tell Acrobat or Reader to publish them, or they get published automatically after a certain period of time (which is defined in the preferences (, by the way). »

I don't see this option in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI or XI of Adobe Reader. The only option is to search the published comments, additional reviewers, not automatically publish my comments after a specified time interval.

Anyone know if it is possible to post comments after a period of time?

    By the way:

We collect comments on our own internal Windows Server and reviewers place annotations/comments on the PDF document using Adobe Reader XI (shared comments are made from Adobe Acrobat XI).

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi wayniac,.

There is no option to post comments automatically after a time interval to the reader.

  • Sharing problem between laptop XP Pro and XP Home PC network file

I have a PC with XP Home SP3 which I want to be able to access from my work XP Pro laptop. I used to be able to do this, however, in recent years, I had to replace my disk file or reload due to errors or mechanical failure. Whenever I had to do this, it seems that my ability to access shared folders on the PC has decreased. I used to be able to access all files on the PC, even the C drive. More recently, I could no longer access the shared C drive, but could still access a folder. However, after the disk file was last modified, I can now only have access to the shared printer.

More details - I can see all shared folders on the PC, but I can't open an any of them. I can ping the two systems together, by IP and hostname. My guest account is enabled. I tried to start the PC in safe mode and changing the permissions of the group. I tried disabling my firewall windows on the PC. None of these changes the errors I get. I am an administrator on both systems. NetBIOS over TCP/IP is enabled on both systems. I had a 3rd party firewall (McAfee), installed as a trial, but the trial has failed and I uninstalled it. I have an XP Pro PC to work that I can access via this same laptop from work.

Errors are 1130 system error - not enough server storage is available to process this command, or '\\computername\resource is not accessible. You might not have permission to use the network resource.

Any ideas? I'm pulling my hair out here...

I wouldn't say that we set the other problem. If I net use x: \\computername\resource, I still get the "not enough server storage message" and it doesn't seem to matter what I increase the IRPStackSize value to.  I ran the command net user as well, also without any change.

    Any other ideas?

  • Resources shared on XP in Windows 7 but cannot view shared resources on Windows 7 XP?

Suddenly, my network has gone from wack-o!

I cannot view shared resources (disks, folders) on the 7 machine Windows XP machine, but can view shared resources on Windows 7 machine from XP machine?

    Machine error message Windows 7:
    Windows cannot access \\machine\folder
You are not allowed access to the
\\machine\folder.  Contact your network administrator to request access.

When I created the sharing folders and drives (on both XP machines and 7), the permissions for everyone.  I have the same name of user account on both computers.

    What is going on?

Your general statement "Windows 7 has problems to access shared resources on XP" is incorrect. Yes, you have problems, but I have and none of my clients, amounts of problems to access the resources on XP Windows 7 boxes boxes. If something has changed in your situation, even if you don't think he has. It is very difficult to solve network problems without being on-site, but your error message does not indicate a problem with the username/password accounts, permissions or misconfigured firewall. All I can do is give you my usual network troubleshooting steps and you suggest to go through them. Also given that the problem comes from the XP box, troubleshooting of small network of Hans-Georg Michna MVP might help.

http://winhlp.com/wxnet.htm - small troubleshooting network by Hans-Georg Michna

Problems sharing files between computers on a network are usually caused by 1) a misconfigured firewall or a firewall neglected (including a dynamic firewall in a virtual private network); or (2) inadvertently run two firewalls such as the firewall of Windows and a third-party firewall. and/or (3) do not have accounts to the same users and passwords on all computers in the workgroup. (4) tries to create actions where the operating system does not.

In Windows 7, go to control panel > everything in Control Panel > network and sharing Center. Click on "change the advanced sharing settings. You don't want to use the residential group unless you have all Windows 7 machines. If you do and you want to use the homegroup, see Windows 7 Help & Support. Otherwise, in sharing advanced:

Discovery of plug in the network
Open the files and printers sharing
Turn on the sharing section Public folder sharing
    Plug the password protected sharing

    A. configure the firewall on all machines to allow traffic to local area network (LAN) as being approved. With the Windows Firewall, turning on window file sharing and printer as the above will take care of that for you. If you are not running a third-party firewall or you have an antivirus/security with its own firewall component program, then you're fine.  With a third-party firewall, I usually set up the allocation of LAN with an IP address range. E.g. would be 192.168.1.0 - 192.168.1.254. Obviously you would substitute your correct subnet. Refer to the safety of any third party program or the user forums for how to correctly configure its firewall. Do not run more than one firewall. DON'T STOP FIREWALLS; CONFIGURE THEM CORRECTLY.

    (B) to facilitate the Organization, put all computers in the same workgroup. This is done from the System applet in Control Panel, the computer name tab.

    C. create the counterpart of the user accounts and passwords on all machines. You do not need to be logged into the same account on all machines and assigned to each user account passwords can be different; accounts/passwords just need to exist and to match on all machines. DO NOT NEGLECT TO CREATE PASSWORDS, EVEN IF ONLY OF SIMPLE. If you want a machine to boot directly to the desktop (a particular user account) for convenience, you can do this:

Start > Search box > type: netplwiz [Enter]
Click continue (or provide an administrator password) when you are prompted by UAC

Uncheck "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". Select a user account to connect automatically by clicking on the account you want to highlight and press OK. Enter the password for this user account (when it exists) when you are prompted. Leave blank if there is no password (null).

XP - set up Windows to automatically connect (MVP Ramesh) - http://windowsxp.mvps.org/Autologon.htm

    D. Si one or more of the computers on your network are XP Pro or Media Center, turn off Simple file sharing (Folder Options > view tab).

    E. create share as you wish. In Windows 7 I usually share the Desktop of the user and the Public directory. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • Last update Acrobat DC - shared review on the network stopped working

    Hello comrades,.

2 days ago, we received an automatic update to Acrobat DC and 'upgraded' to the 2015.006.30172 version.

After that, the shared review Wizard no longer allows to initiate a shared on a dedicated network drive review.

When specifying the path network folder and clicked on next, the status changes to "Failed to create the shared folder".

Before the update, it worked fine.

    Has anyone encountered this problem?

    Thank you!

  • Is there a way acrobat sends an e-mail when comments are published in a shared review?

  • Acrobat XI will not access contacts for shared review

I started having this problem yesterday after the update to Acrobat DC and then realizing that we weren't ready for DC, so I uninstalled DC and re-installed XI.

When I try to send for shared review, collecting on our internal server, as soon as I click on the "to:" or "CC"; buttons, a window opens as usual when Acrobat tries to connect to Google (we manage our emails through Gmail) to access my contacts. However, neither the 'allow access' or 'no thank you' buttons are clickable. I have to manually close the window that then return an authentication failure message.

I did a complete uninstall of Acrobat DC and a complete reinstallation of XI a couple of times, but still get the same errors and I have the same problems.

I'm on a new MacPro, 10.10.3 Yosemite, network environment, as I said before, using Gmail to manage the corporate e-mail.

Please help - our process is highly dependent on a shared review, and without it, I'm dead in the water.

    -Stephen

The installation of DC, although I ran the uninstaller program, has apparently anything to influence the ability for XI to access my contacts. I gritted my teeth and re-updated for DC and all works fine.

  • Send "Hotfolder" shared review files automatically?

Hi - I was not able to find an answer, so I hope you can help me.

Basically I have a group of 10 people who always needs to look at PDF files.

Currently, one of them deals to send for shared review but I'd like to eliminate this step because it takes a long time.

Is it possible to automate this process, for example by placing PDFs in a "Hotfolder" and sent automatically for these 10 people? Or y at - it another option which could completely eliminate the need for a person to send for shared review?

    Any suggestions are welcome.

    Kind regards

    Hi Filip,

Unfortunately shared reviews are designed to be a manual process on the desktop.

  • How can I remove a shared review profile?

When you create a shared review using your own internal server for collecting feedback, the wizard gives you the ability to create a profile named to automate the process.

I have a number of these profiles that are obsolete, but I can't find a way to remove them. They embark on the way to select the ones I always use. How can I get rid of these things?

A recurring problem; shared review (pdf format) is sent to 10 reviewers - all but one can issue stamps and comments. I found no reason why the person cannot put a stamp and post (this is unique to his newspaper - on - only Adobe knows him by his email address)

NOW THE PROBLEM EXTENDS - 2 examiners more have similar problems in addition to the comments can be placed and published are endangered!

  • Acrobat shared review and services XI online Adobe

I have a 60 user + CC for subscription teams and I'm trying to use the feature of shared in Acrobat XI review. I click Send for shared review and the first option in the drop-down says "automatically download and follow the comments with Adobe online services. I select this option, click Next, it asks me to connect with my Adobe ID, click Next, add an address in the To... field, click Send. Now a progress bar window appears and says "status: creating a shared folder on the Adobe online services ' and I wait, wait and wait for progress in the progress bar but there is a button to retry. Clicking on it is futile.

Adobe online services are different from Adobe.com? This works for someone else?

Have you updated to 11.0.07 again?  It doesn't sound like you've done it yet.  I say that it is because the opportunity to use the Acrobat.com shared review feature in the user interface has been removed in the 11.0.07 update.

  • Can I format the announcement by email to a shared review of Acrobat

I use the feature of shared review of Acrobat approval of draft documents. Acrobat sends an email that people ask to join the review. However, this message is in plain text and it looks horrible. I want to be able to format the email, do things like putting the date limits in bold.

Right now, I normally send the request for reconsideration to myself. Then I create and format an email in Outlook and insert a link to the review. Is there a better way?

You cannot change the body of the email which composed of Acrobat, but you can copy what it generated and paste it into your regular e-mail software, where you can apply patterns etc.

Since the SR system now only works on shared folders the or WebDAV, the content of the 'invitation' e-mail is largely redundant in any case - you need the special Acrobat.com hyperlink and have manually add a link to the PDF document.

  • How to activate a reminder for when a shared review has reached its end date?

I thought that Acrobat will send the initiator of a shared review a reminder prior to the date of "end of revision" is reached. This will allow his or her check with commentators how.

It seems that we don't receive this reminder.

When I place the process of shared initially review I saw that a reminder the review ends in a day or two.

    Lately, looks who ceased to...

We use Acrobat X Pro & Std, SharePoint and Outlook 2010

    Appreciate your help

Acrobat doesn't send regular emails and never did. You have the option of manually ' e-mail all reviewers ' via the Tracker dialog box, and of course when someone opens the PDF you will tell them deadline.
