Delete all the images and Photos into folders, I create

OK, I can't leave the Photos to manage my pictures for anything other than editing.  I have a backup hard drive which has thousands of photos I worked tirelessly to organize into folders that make sense to ME (as well as for my wife).  Because of my organization, with any windows machine, it's easy for me to import them from my iPhone in a folder on the desktop, then the name or the tag and move these photos on this windows computer records, as well as on this hard drive.  It is a breeze to find an image or an object with a lot of different pictures, I'm the one who ranked.  It is a breeze to do a mass deletion, or a mass move if I decide to change the category of several images.  However, with Photos, just try to move pushes to hell.  Not to mention the fact that IF someone were to have access to my Mac without my permission, if they wanted to look at my pictures and videos on all of them would be in pictures to facilitate navigation.  There are a lot of photo work that I don't want anyone other than myself, my wife and occasionally a customer that the photos are to have access to the as they may contain confidential information or even to design prototypes.  WHY can't Apple let me manage my own photos?  I'm not griping about photo editing features, I find them to be good for the most part.  I want to just connect my iPhone and copy all the pictures out of it in my own folder structure and remove them from the phone.  If I need to change the one I can still do from the phone or Photos if Photos then would allow me to remove this image pictures and put it back in my files.  Please tell me that someone else out there has a similar desire and figured out how to do this...

WHY can't Apple let me manage my own photos?

No problem just don't do the - Photos is completely optional

Apple provides Photos for people who want a modern photo management with workflows without loss with database capabilities and the Image Capture (or do the PC way and use the finder) and listen to samples for those who don't want an up-to-date Digital Asset Manager like pictures and prefer to handle the files rather than photos - use either or any third-party solution you like best

But you can't do what you want with Photos - you must use the correct software for your personal desires and is not pictures

    Hi Tanuj.

I actually understand it. Not the best user friendly system. Where as before (CS5), I just had to go to crop tool and choose the dimensions and the inches now it in the window. Just really complicated for nothing.

    Thanks anyway Tanuj

  • Is there a way to flatten all the images and the text when you optimize?

I want to flatten all the images and text (not only those with transparency) in PDF files to ensure that no one can steal my images and work. Are there settings that I can choose when I save as optimized in Acrobat? This is on a Mac. Thank you.

Flattening, but you use that term, does not extract images from a PDF. You can apply security, products from Adobe that will prevent the extraction of content from a PDF file, but that's all. If it is in a document, it can be extracted.

  • delete all the images in the Lightroom mobile, but those in the collections

    Hello

After using Lightroom for mobile on my Apple TV, I realized that, other than the images I've grouped in collections, all the photos I took with my iPhone are available under the "images" tab

I don't want that, so I disabled the feature to add.

How can I delete all these images from Lightroom on mobile?

I want to only keep those in my collections. Also, I don't want to delete the pictures that I took with the iPhone from the mobile, only from Lightroom.

    I hope someone can help,

    Thank you in advance.

    Thank you once again, Mohit.

I thought... a work around in Lightroom, I created a collection called mobile DELETE... so I went to all the "Lightroom Photos' and choose ' copy in...» »

I then could quickly select hundreds of photos at once and have all those I want to deleted in the new collection.

Finally, the desktop version of Lightroom, I can select all the images in the collection DELETE and get rid of them.

  • I need to delete all the files and restart lightroom?

I just downloaded Lightroom and by mistake I loaded all THE image files. Instead of 6 000 JPEG files, I have 23 000 images. I would like to start over. What are my choices?

Thank you (and yes I feel a fool, isn't the first and won't be the last).

    Graham.

    Hi Graham,

If you chose to add import, choose all of the photographs in the catalog Panel in the library module > select all photos, and then press the delete key > choose Remove (do not choose Remove them the disc as that would remove the original images)

Or, you can start fresh with a new, empty catalog by clicking file > new catalog.

    Kind regards

  • BlackBerry Smartphones accidentally hidden all the music and photos from my phone?

So I got my blackberry to my computer and I tried to download pictures of her. There was some hidden that I couldn't so I decided to look around and see if I could find them. I have the blackberry from the folder right click after I selected the device from my computer. I then in properties and accidentally selected option check box to see only the hidden, or something to that. Now when I look on the device, all files are gone including camera, music photo, everything is not a single folder, listed in the unit when it is connected to my computer. And therefore all the photos on my camera, even if not connected to my computer and music are lost. Please help me to retrieve all my music and photos that I stupidly lost.

On your computer you need to make sure it's set to show hidden files.

    For Windows Vista and 7:
    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/Show-hidden-files-and-folders-in-Windows-Vista/

    For XP:
    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows/display-hidden-folders-in-XP/

Once you have those who show themselves in Windows and then connect your device to the computer and undo what you did. You should see the files hidden in Windows now and you should be able to remove the checkbox for hidden.

  • Thunderbird deleted all my emails and placed 300 folders on my desktop. Why is this happen and how can I recover my lost messages?

I was checking my emails as usual and after trying to open a message not read all emails have been deleted from my Inbox. At the end of this process, about 300 folders with names like "QxxzBx z.html.pX10aRdGp.html.part" were placed on my desk. How can I recover my mails and make sure that this problem does not happen?

I use Thunderbird version with Mac OS X 10.9.2 24.4.0

I hope that this does not happen again. Perhaps as a test, you can select some messages and drag them to your desktop, to see if this occurs behavior. Of course, that we do not know why it happened, but it might help to understand if this is actually what happened.

I'm glad you could at least undelete them, Adam!

  • Refresh wiped out all the bookmark and browser settings

Firefox suggested I do a Refresh to speed up the browser etc. I did it and everything has been wiped out. Firefox logo appears in the start bar but when I click on it see no firefox browser, totally empty tabs. All the bookmarks wiped out all three browsers I use: Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. I'm totally in trouble.

When you reset Firefox and a new profile is created and some personal data (bookmarks, history, cookies, passwords, data form) are automatically imported and the current profile folder will be moved on the desktop to a folder "Old data Firefox".
Installed extensions and other customizations (toolbars, Pref.) that you have made are lost and must be redone.

It is possible to retrieve the data from the old profile, but be careful not to copy the files corrupted to avoid transporting more problems.

Do a clean reinstall and delete the program folder before Firefox to (re) install a new copy of the current version of Firefox.

If possible to uninstall your current version of Firefox to clean the Windows registry and settings in the security software.

    • Do NOT remove the "personal data" when you uninstall your current version of Firefox, because this will remove all profile folders and you lose personal data such as bookmarks and passwords including data profiles created by other versions of Firefox.

Delete the program folder Firefox before installing newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

    • (32-bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
    • (Windows 64 bit) "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla.

Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and will not be affected by a uninstall and (re) install, but do NOT delete personal data when you uninstall Firefox which removes all Firefox profile folders and you lose your data.

If you keep problems also create a new profile.

It is possible that your security (firewall, antivirus) software blocks or limit Firefox or the process of plugin-container without you inform, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and allow your firewall to ask permission to get access full and unrestricted, again to install for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

  • Vertical horizontal ratio has been changed accidentally. Now a vertical oblong (eg. a playing card) looks like the place and all the letters and pictures seem to be shortened.

I suspect that I accidentally pressed a button or two on my Toshiba Satellite M55 and now all the images and the text have changed their vertical horizontal ratio. As a result, a vertical oblong (like a playing card), now looks like the place and all the letters and the images seems to be shortened or at least more wide than they should be. Is it possible to restore the original report? I tried access to control panel, hot key lists etc but can't find anything that actually return my screen to a normal appearance. Can anyone help please?

Check Toshibha manul to press the function key to undo the changes.
