• 'Delete' function does not remove ext

  Hello

  I'm trying to 'Remove' some WebAssist extensions so that I can install the latest version of the extensions.

  The program will by the movements 'Removing extension... '. "and the progress bar fills up slowly. When the pop-up window disappears the extension is always and the word 'Delete' is still there too.

  I tried turning on and off and it makes no difference. I spent too much time (the last two nights) trying to solve this problem, but I can't--I'm now pulling my hair!

  Sorry for the late reply. I have no office and cannot access the Internet so far. This extension is an extension by user, since all of the files in this package of extension will be installed in specific locations of the user (i.e. under C:\Users\). During the installation of this type of extensions in CS6, EM will appear a dialog box so the user can choose to install it only to the current user or all users of the machine. Of course, if you have checked the option at the bottom of the dialog box when you installed an extension by user for the first time, then the dialog box will be more pop.

  You can find a file mxi_path for this extension as part of "C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Extension Manager CS6\EM Store\Dreamweaver CS6" (if you have it installed for the current user) or "C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Extension Manager CS6\EM Store\Dreamweaver CS6" (if you have it installed for all users). This file is an XML file and the full path of every file of content installed on the machine. So, you can delete these files based on the contents of the mxi_path file.

  I'm a bit of a loss. I have spent these last nights just trying to find someone with an answer to my question. All I want to do is remove the virtual drive CDFS on my hard drive permanently and merge it with my main partition, or I will eventually return to the place where I bought.

  Basically from what I can understand IS possible, it's just requires the company to write the teensy little program to repair. U3 makes, there are several hacks for other sticks of memory, etc.

  Sorry, but I don't think it's possible using this external HARD disk.
  I have several external hard drives at home and the external USB HDD is still visible an extra HARD drive. Event in the format of HARD drive does not merge external USB HDD with the partition on the internal HARD disk.

  The first thing I would try would be to manually reset preferences. If this fails, try to uninstall the plugin and see if the problem goes away.

  In case you don't know how to reset:

  Reset preferences

  (1) close the program, and then press Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Win) / command + Option + shift (Mac) (not reversible) starting

  I have a disc of lightning (WDC) 2 TB ext.  I had it partitioned with 2 partitions - but now I want to use the entire disk as a single partition.

  I searched the web a solution (re El Capitan) and found this solution below

  BUT whenever I have to erase partitions and then as soon as the volume test to find the space by removing the partition - but the sign less is grayed out and only the sign is available.

  I did the operation to clear the partition and then tries to take over the space of the volume - as suggested - but I can't do it if it is grayed out!

  Step 1: Partition Erase

  To begin, open disk utility while searching for it using Spotlight or find in Applications > utilities.

  Then click on the partition that you want to remove in the left panel.

  With your selected partition, click the clear button in the upper part of disk utility. This will bring up a window with a clear button. Click Remove , and then click done.

  Step 2: Delete Partition

  With your partition erased data, you should always delete the now empty partition in order to reallocate space for the rest of your hard drive.

  To do this, select your hard drive in the left panel and then click on the button at the top of the disk utility Partition. In the graph of the pie on the left, click on the corner that represents the partition you just deleted. Click on the button "-" and then click apply.

  You use Firefox on Ubuntu which seems to have some addons managed by the system instead of the browser. First of all, I think that 'Y U not validate' is a good plugin to increase safety in general because it prevents accidentally allowing a false certificate forever.

  If you really want to uninstall you will have to remove the addon package. On Ubuntu, this should do the trick:

  $ apt - get remove xul-ext-y-u-no-validate

  I chose to use ftp to transfer files between a compact RIO and a Windows 7 Pro customer.  Windows client software is developed in 2012 of LabVIEW.  The ftp "embedded," VI perform open, connection, put, get, and list.  I understand that there is currently no VI ftp to delete files or create new folders on the compact RIO.  I also see that the Internet Toolkit is available for download.

  Of the basis of knowledge NOR about the Internet Toolbox, "these obsolete APIs is available on ni.com/drivers (Windows, Mac OS, Linux) for existing applications, upgrade to LabVIEW 2012 or later." National Instruments recommends against the beginning of any new developments with these APIs.

  As there are many options available (some of which I'm sure I'm not yet aware) I would like to know what is the recommendation of OR for an application that has not only put and get, but also delete and create.  The methods that come to mind are:

  (1) command, ftp Windows 7

  (2) FileZilla ftp client

  (3) pass signals using compact RIO static and the compact Rio variable removes and create based on these signals (I think it would be awkward)

  (4) develop a .NET DLL that is the compact RIO using ftp interface

  (5) purchase a license for the box tool FTP de EvaluMation

  (6) download the Toolkit OR from the Internet (even though NEITHER says that it should not be used for its "new developments") by the way, is there any cost for the NI Internet Toolkit?

  Can anyone suggest what recommends these, or other options?  I want the deletion of files and folders that are created without action by the operator (using NI MAX, for example).

  You do not need the Internet for the screws of FTP Toolbox, these are now included in the standard palettes of LabVIEW (Data Communication > protocols > FTP).

  The FTP Toolbox is not a "predefined" VI to remove the files, but you can use the 'Command.vi FTP"(used inside many screws of FTP) directly and send the command 'DELE path\to\file.ext' there.

  While I'm the 'computer' guy for family and friends, I turned in the novice because of this; I'm lost and feel beaten.  Please be as complete as possible with instructions/answers.  Guess I'm a noob.

  My plan is to use the WD external hard drive as a backup of my files and run the music/movies, etc out of it to my TV installation / audio salon through my Playstation3 or whatever.  My problem is simply to obtain the files copied to the external hard drive.  And being that this is a fairly simple HDD, I think that the issue could be with the USB (SIN) / configuration of the connection through the router.  That, or maybe there are authorization implementation issues.  I know that the HD has a setting for the mode 'sleep' - I did get to a point where I can adjust.  Anyway, I was able to get a record created but nothing to copy.  Then, I was (finally) able to delete the folder, etc..  I don't know if I'm missing some configuration/installation or if the scenario is just climbing.

  And for those of you who know software MioNet and/or WD Anywhere Backup provided with outside, I have installed the software on my computer laptop but has not been signed by all accounts and do not use them.  So I think that they are not a factor.  Just thought I would include this info just in case it is important.

  For a redefined search C: Vista drive click to start / search and type in EXT:INK. As you type, you'll see two hyperlinks appear just above where you type and we'll search everywhere.  A click on it.  Who will do a fast indexed search and bring up a dialog box.  Click on advanced search.  Click the drop-down location and find the C: drive and click on it. Check the box "include not indexed, hidden and system files (might be slow).»  Then click on search.  You will now search your entire hard drive to the specified file.  And Yes, this isn't a very effective way to search the entire disk for a file but it is how it is done in Vista.

• Previous instance of the pilot still in memory - hard drive Ext

  It is on a disk Toshiba external hard usb connected to a w XPS8700 8.1 which works fine on other computers. The error message -cannot load the driver the previous instance of the device still in memory driver. I uninstalled the drive ext devices and printers where it appears with an exclamation mark and error message, rebooted, removed and reconnected to the diff, usb ports, changed power outlets, registered disk management - does not appear there or to Mgr. Unit nothing works. Yet to test it on my another victory 8.1 computer recognizes it immediately and I have access to all files.  It scans the drive and found no errors. Files can be moved to the other hard drive. The ext drive works OK on the 8700 for more than a year.

  edit -- found the reason - USB Mass Storage Device has the error -previous instance... still in memory. Any suggestions? Uninstalling and restarting does not help. Diagnostic tests were all very well.

  The fixed! This was caused by Pépin of the history of the files. (I hate file history) I opened Device Mgr, selected hidden devices and found an old entry of WD ext hard drive and deleted. Historical files should be disabled before changing anything. because it gave me errors on the disc Toshiba not found or not connected. I had disabled the USB storage device and had to re - activate. This requires a reboot, and the Toshiba external drive is now active and functional.

  I am leaving the history of files and make manual backups instead.

• Win 7 Pro X 64; system does not recognize my Sata HDD Ext USB Powered clos

  In the recent past, my system no longer recognizes my Powered Sata USB HDD Ext I closed deleted the April May security updates and nothing does not. Two updates would not uninstall: KB3020369 & KB3020370. They were both installed on May 7, just about the time the ext drive was not recognized.

  Thinking that the box Sata or HARD drive was unusable, I bought two new nothing helps. I think the above updates are the culprits. And then install updates one at a time security test activity USB I'm going. Also, I see other people having the same

  FIX

  Problem solved. In my case, the external hard drive was plugged in and powered and the external drive appeared in 'surely remove the material and the media', but does not appear in Windows Explorer. It was enough of a drive letter. Left click on start, Control Panel, administrative tools, COMPUTER MANAGEMENT, storage, MANAGEMENT OF DISKS.  A list of drives has been shown. Mine has no drive letter. I have a click right and select the simple volume on the dark line, and followed the instructions.

  Everything is normal and I already copied the files on it. Thank you all for your efforts and help.

  I suggest you do a normal backup and then differential periodically.  This avoids that the difference between the initial backup and changes made to the files.  If you are happy with the changes, do the differential backup.  When you make other changes and that you do not have the old files, it is safe to do a new differential backup and delete the previous.  This saves disk space.

  When I open the Security menu I always put the issue in sight. However, when I open the task through the menu windows manager refuses to load the menu alt delete again.
