  Go to view | Current view | Show all messages to make sure that you have just selected 'Hide read messages.

  If this does not help, check your Recycle Bin, the bak files which are dbx files, you can restore backups.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#2

  If this does not help, then you will probably need my program DBXpress (www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/), which will extract the messages from individual dbx files, and if messages are no longer in the files, it can extract from the disc itself.

  I have Windows 7 Home Basic Edition and Firefox latest version. I spent my disk storage system and find there a same folder in the library of photos and videos in the C drive. It was synchronized folders, which I wasn't aware of and I have deleted using SHIFT + DELETE.

  If undo_retention is large enough you can try to use FLASHBACK QUERY to retrieve the deleted rows.

  Of course (without using Flashback ) since a backup and the logs archived, you can restore the deleted lines, but it's a lot heavier.

  I bought a Hp laptop today with the DOS operating system,

  When I was installing windows 7, I've seen 2 drives already present in the BIOS,

  1. by car 7.6 GB HPDOCS

  2 drive with again of 7.6 GB (which could contain the drivers)

  3 was unallocated 450 GB

  so I formatted the 2nd disc so that I can use 7.6 GB instead of wastiing,

  I have succcessfully installed windows 7 and now when I plugged my USB or turn on my wifi

  It shows no drivers. I am not able to solve this problem.

  I tried to download it from a friends laptop and burn it to a CD and then use it in my laptop and install it

  but I'm not able to install the appropriate players. I downloaded the drivers from HP SUPPORT itself

  If anyone knows the solution to my problem, please advice me on this please

  Currently we do not support customizable e-mail templates. But I think that it is indeed a nice to have feature request for our product managers to choose and push. Hope this one is picked up and worked on soon.

  You can always choose not to send this mail altogether (or send it unless people), but currently there is no way to customize it.

• I can't delete the IMAP subfolders questions...

  I got the files set up for family, work, etc.  I guess gmail went and set up the same subfolders, so there are two copies, and never to filter emails for half of them.

  I want to delete the subfolders, all (except of course the basics) and start over.  It doesn't let me delete these folders.
  The error is "the IMAP server could not delete your folder.  If the file has already been deleted, please update your list of folders for this IMAP server. »
  Another error is "cannot select 'Family' on the IMAP server.  Try to update the list of folders, and then try again. »
  It won't let me hide the files either.
  I searched for how to remove remove the folders, IMAP, how update server update the list of files and information what ever is there, I don't understand all this.

  All I want to do is delete the subfolders and it shouldn't be this difficult.

  I removed all the labels and all of the subfolders in gmail.

  I use Windows 7 Live Mail and gmail and it is IMAP.
  Keep in mind, I'm really not that computer savy, so some detailed, 'dumbed down' instructions would be useful.

  Let's start first of all, you will LOSE your emails when you delete these files, unless all your emails are also stored in the main Inbox of Live Mail or Gmail.  If you delete your emails on the server of Gmail or ask them to work around the Inbox, they're GONE, so BACK to the TOP YOUR STUFF if do not want to lose him.

  That's what I did:
  Go to Gmail and delete any subfolders you want.  Everything will now be without a label.
  In Live Mail:
  Go to the 'Accounts' tab
  Click 'properties '.
  Go to the tab that says "IMAP".
  Uncheck the two square boxes.
  Click OK - it will be now update--> unwanted files disappear (except for the basics, sent/drafts/spam, etc.)
  Yay!
  Now go back to Gmail and recreate your news labels and filters and repeat the above process---> new subfolders with all your newly classified mail!
  Filters, don't forget to click on the box to apply to all e-mail messages stored on Gmail, and they will all close up in the appropriate subfolder.

  Don't try to run anything on the disk hard until you retrieve the data.  Any writing on the disk can destroy data.

  Little damage - use a device to the slave of your hard drive to another system to copy the data.  I use this device to work (about 30 US $): CoolDrivesSATA and IDE Hard Drive & Optical Drive USB adapter Kit COMBO

  Moderate damage - use the file/partition recovery software.  There are a lot of free software out there to do this - but I think it's too complicated to use.  I use GetDataBack to http://www.runtime.org , it is free to see what he can salvage, but it will cost you about $80 (US) to actually recover.

  Serious damage - contact a professional data recovery.  Very expensive, but worth it if you absolutely must have the data to back!

  I agree, you usually have to restart the computer so that windows has a lock on the file, it's the same thing with other Oracle products that use this file.
