Classic i - pod, i-tunes not recognized not

plugged the iPod on a Mac Classic.  Naturally, it erases all the music on the iPod. However, none of the music on the Mac was recorded on the ipod.  The monitor of playback for music stated, 'no music'.  Then, to make matters worse, when I plugged the ipod into my PC, it has not copied anything from the computer.  I went to devices on the drop of i-tunes, but the iPod does not appear as a device.  At one point, I got a warning to the effect that the iPod was corrupt.  I tried to reset by pressing the menu and select button, got the picture of the Apple, but still i-tunes does not recognize the device.  I tried this on another PC, that I have before at the end.  Same result. Both computers have the latest version of i-tunes.  On the page 'about' on the i - pod, I see that the version is 2.04PC, so I guess that the original software was for a PC and plug it into a Mac that messed up.  Can I load onto the ipod via the internet on PC?

Naturally, it erases all the music on the iPod.

Don't know what that means "naturally"...  If iPod was already associated with your Windows computer's iTunes library and you connected to your Mac, it shouldn't erase the iPod unless specifically can you tell iTunes Sync music library iTunes to Mac or do a restore (to erase the iPod).  Since that it has been deleted (probably with a restoration), after the restoration, the iPod uses the manually manage music and videos by default.  It still "synchronizes" but nothing is loaded onto the iPod.

If you are planning that iTunes to automatically sync your music library on iPod, you assign to Sync music.  Find the iPod touch device in iTunes.  Here is a screenshot of the upper left corner of my window in iTunes, iPod button circled in red

Click this button to display the settings of the iPod summary screen in the iTunes window.  Along the left side, in the sidebar, under settings, click on music.  To the right, the music from the iPod settings screen.  Check the box to Sync music.

NOTE: All of the songs on the iPod that are are not in your iTunes library (on computer) will be lost.

This enables automatic synchronization.  You can choose to synchronize the entire music library (if it fits) or a part of the selection .  Set up this screen as desired, then click apply to sync.  Further, iTunes automatically keeps iPod "in phase" with the changes to your music library (or the selected part of it) when you connect the iPod (or click sync , if already connected).

NOTE: If your iPod is currently "corrupt", you will need to do a restore of the iPod in iTunes, before you can set it up to Sync music.  The restore button is on the settings of the iPod summary screen in iTunes.  Use any computer you plan to use with the iPod, to proceed to the restore.

Can I load onto the ipod via the internet on PC?

Embedded iPod software is the same, the only difference is how, the iPod's hard drive is formatted for Mac or Windows.  And do a restore on the iPod in iTunes, it's how the iPod software is reinstalled.

    Hello world

I have a Qosmio F20-149. After the transfer of my place of residence in another city in the same country) I suddenly see that my media reports "tuner not found" when I try to access the TV. Also, when I try to configure the internet connection, I get an error message of the MC asked me to restart the computer or contact technical support. Can someone help me with this?

    thanking you in anticipation.
    Best wishes.

    Hello

I'm not an expert but tuner not found message cannot occur without any reason. There seems to be some hardware related issue and has nothing to do with your home.

If you are 100% sure that everything was ok a few days ago, I recommend you to roll back OS to an earlier time using System Restore tool. Please also check status of TV tuner in Device Manager? Is this all is well?

  • Error 'Tuner not installed' in Media Center

I have Windows XP Media Center version and had no problem to watch and record TV live until a few weeks ago. All of a sudden, I get an error "tuner not installed." I did a system restore to a date where the tuner works and it has failed. Any ideas for me on how to get my tuner to work again? I saw a bunch of other questions like this on the web... but the technical details of it go above my head. Not sure if someone got a good solution. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

  • Error: "Tuner not found" with Windows Media Center

Original title: someone at - there a solution to this problem of Tuner not found with Windows Media Center? I tried for several years to find an answer to this embarrassing problem without success.

I did just about everything, including a restoration of the complete system without success. It would be nice to be able to use my Windows Media Center to watch live TV and record programs I would like to see later.

There is a great thread to

Unfortunately, it looks like the only solution people have found is to replace the

  • Windows Media Center TV tuner not detected

My current operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2
    (I installed SP2 from microsoft.com)
I have the Version of the Windows Media Center - Windows Vista 6.0.6002.18030 software (vistasp2_gdr.090429 - 2357).  I'm trying to watch TV on my laptop.  I have Windows Media Center and am confused about the version because I saw this - if the version number is 6.0.6001.18000, you are NOT running Windows Media Center TV Pack.  You are running the version of Windows Media Center, which is included in Windows Vista or in Windows Vista SP1.

As you can see my version (numbers) are alittle different on the end, also the info in parentheses (vistasp2_gdr.090429 - 2357) I don't know what that means.  When I tried to configure the tv signal in Windows Media Center, I was told: the TV signal cannot be configured because no tv tuner hardware was detected. So, how can I find out if there is an internal tv tuner installed and everything is not detected?  My laptop is new - 3 weeks, and I think that all the drivers are current.   While they inspected the help windows vista hardware compatibility list for 64-bit vista tv tuners, I was flooded for more information that I knew what to do with.  I'm obviously not a computer genius and will never be.  I'm open to suggestions.  I just need to know what I have to do to be able to watch TV on my laptop.  Any help will be appreciated! Thank you.

I have HP slimline is now Windows 7 and Vista. When I upgraded to Windows 7, I did not go off Homegroup. My Vixs tuner worked fine for 2 years. Recently, may 2011, I decided to start the homegroup; What a mistake!

My Media Center said that I had no TV tuner.
After much research, I found this solution.
In windows 7 go to "Administrative Tools" and launch 'Services '.
Scroll down to "Windows Media Center Receiver Service" and under "connect as" column, make sure that setting is 'Local System' and not 'Network Service '. The "Startup Type" value in the manual. not automatic.
    This fixed my issue.

  • I removed a second TV tuner. WMC now reports "tuner not found" when he starts recording. Boring. Is there a solution?

I'm thinking there must be a registry fix just for this.

I used to have two sticks of tuner TV USB in my PC (Win7 Home 64 bit), but one of them went belly.

Now when WMC starts a scheduled recording, I have a pop-up balloon reports "Tuner not found". But the TV very well played and recorded normally.

Is there a simple solution for this? Very annoying. THX.

In WMC, go to Settings/tasks/TV Signal and set up your TV Signal again.

WMC has been implemented with 2 tuners and will continue to be a tuner missing until you set up again.

If you replace the missing tuner, or replace it with another tuner, you need to configure WMC again.

  • My music from my classic I Pod won't play on my computer

I connected my I Pod classic on my computer. I see the list of my classic I Pod music in the bar of music from I Tunes program. However, the list is light gray in color. When I select a song in the list, it will not play.

If the list of songs from iPod (as shown in iTunes) is grayed out, it probably means you are using automatic synchronization (setting synchronization music ) to load songs on iPod.  When you use the Auto-Sync, iTunes syncs iPod "" with your library iTunes. You can not directly access songs on the iPod.  This is why they are greyed out.

Songs on iPod should be in your iTunes library.  To listen to this song in iTunes, find it in your music library and play from there, not from your iPod.

  • TV tuner not recognized by WMC F10

    Hello everyone,

I got a brand new F10-131. Ideal to use.
The first time I used the windows media center, he tried to set up the tuner. No probs. As I do not plug the antenna, we don't seen any channel. Ok.
Then I updated the operating system with windows update. All updates has occurred.
And now I had 2 problems:
-Firstly, the ehrecvr.exe module causes an error. I had to disable to avoid having errors at the start of the PC.
    - and now the WMC can NOT find my TV tuner.
I did download and install the new driver on my PC TV tuner, but it makes no difference.
I know that the tuner works fine when I use the Qosimo interface (no use of WMC)
No detection of anomaly in the questioning of my tuner hardware.
What should I do? I guess it's a problem to use good parameters/drivers, but I've already updated the system and drivers. I thought to reformat the system to have clean, then try again.

    Hello

In my opinion, you should do a little test. Please use the System Restore tool and restore the operating system to an earlier time before Windows updates, and check if everything works well again.

    MEDIA CENTER TV tuner

Our computer does not recognize the TV tuner, it says that the region (Canada) is not possible, even if we were watch and record the TV for two years. We took the tour get served today and the technician could not find anything wrong, that he hung the Tower while I was in the store and everything worked very well he played TV programs that we previously recorded on the computer. On their return, I hooked the tower to have the same problem until I took the tour of duty please help with advice.

    Hi Kimberly MacDonald,.

    1. What is the full error message that you receive?

I suggest that you reconfigure the TV signal in the media center of Windows and check if it works.

one) to configure the tuner for use with Windows Media Center, on the Start screen, navigate to tasks.

    (b) click settings, click TV, and then click Set Up TV Signal.

  • Classic connection Add-In does not work - db selection did not get recognized.

    Hi all

With my client, many users work with the classic Essbase Add-In on their computers. The Add-In is distributed and installed with a software package. Out of these facilities, a machine makes problems. Excel version 2010 begins and the Addin too. Then under Add-Ins > Essbase > Connect the login window appears. The user name and password are given and OK button. See a list of Applications and databases. When a database is selected and you press the OK button, the selection changes to the database at the top of the page and the window does not disappear.

This also happens with another user that can run on a different machine (so no access rights).

The Add-in is turned off and on again. Problem stays.

All other add-ins are disabled. Problem stays.

Anyone seen elsewhere or have a suggestion?

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards

    Philip Hulsebosch

Saw this problem occurs when there is a space at the end of the name of the server, for example

"my.essbase.server" (the quotation marks to highlight where space is) caused the behavior that you describe.  We found that some microsoft products copy happily a space at the end when copy and pasted from outlook or word or etc... So we always adovate by manually typing in the name of the server
