• In Windows 7, after the application of SP1, I can no longer access my phone book from the start menu or use the search function.

  Since then, whenever I type anything in the search on the start menu, there is no result.  The only exception to this is that if I type in a full path, for example "C:\Program Files\", how I get a list of files in that directory.  If I type in everything that is not a path, as for example the letter p or the word 'paint', told me that "no element not corresponding to your research."

  For research, I use POST. You can also use GET.  Using SESSIONS would not normally make sense, since the variable SESSION must get populated by POST or GET data anyway.

  1. first open the pdf page you want to copy.

  2. when the page is displayed on your screen, press prtscrn on your keyboard.

  3. a copy of the screen has now sent in the windows clipboard.

  4. now open Paint.

  5. on the Paint toolbar, click on edit and then click on paste. The image will now be pasted in a Paint window. You may need to accept a dialog resize if the image is larger than the current document.

  6. now, from the toolbar to the left of your screen, click on the Selection (the oblong dotted box) tool. With the selection tool, select the entire surface of the table you want to copy. Once selected, click on modifier change again, then select Copy.

  7. now, open Microsoft Word.

  8. then place the cursor where you want the table to set, and then press the CTRL and V together on your keyboard.

  9. the image of the table should now be pasted into your Word document.

  Alternatively, you can use the cutting tool (click on the Start button and type snipping tool in the search field). Select the table you want in the pdf page using the cutting tool and then open word and paste the table in word.

• Windows Live Photo Gallery - how to increase the limit of tag 1010 people on the search function

  The search function in Windows Live Photo Gallery people tags seems to be an arbitrary limit of 1010 different tags (1000 in the alphabetical list + the 'Top 10'). Is there a way to get around this?

  When I used the Vista Photo Gallery and my tags 'people' were just a subset of 'descriptive' tags that I created, I could find just a name on the left panel. Not sure why it isn't a section he tags in the version of Windows Live people.   This is probably because deleted files are still in the search Index - this is how it works under Vista.  Try to rebuild the search Index: http://www.tech-recipes.com/rx/2103/vista_rebuilding_the_search_index/.  Wait until she finishes (it may take a while) and then try the search for files deleted - they will show no doubt is no longer.
