Delete the files under C:\Users\MyAccount\CS6 Master Collection\Adobe CS6

After installation, I was left with a ton of files under C:\Users\Nathan\CS6 Master Collection\Adobe CS6 - 8.3 GB.

These files are really needed? They seem to be mostly from the installation files. I can remove them right after the installation?

Hi Nathan,

The default location for the installation of the software is the folder program files and the default location for the extracted files is the desktop where the installation is launched. You could have chosen the folder above for extraction.

If you have already installed the software, you can go ahead and delete this folder.

The "C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution" folder is where the updates are stored.

  • How can I delete the files in C:\Users user profile?

    Hello

So some time ago I deleted some of the user accounts that are no longer used and removed the normal way to user accounts in Control Panel. However, they are still visible in C:\Users who is annoying me, especially since they are not used and are empty directories just for non-existent users. Can I go ahead and delete records directly from C:\Users without any problem?

However, one of them is simply called 'Administrator' and I think that it's the hidden/master administrator that I activated once per command line and then off after that I tested something. I remember that I have disabled this account administrator via cmd, then it will be allowed to simply remove this profile from C:\Users too, or would there be other ramifications as it's almost like a "master admin account?"
    Thank you.

    Hello

you can delete files without problems. In what cases are only profiles (desktop, Documents, etc.) users deleted at this time.

If you want to (sometimes later) log in as administrator or you will create some another user, the new profile will be created.

Note: do not delete the folder 'Public' in "C:\Users".

How were you completely delete a / profile under vista user account?

I have a virus on a different user profile, and I just want to remove this profile.

    (ON VISTA)

    Hello

How to remove a Vista user account - even if you do this, you should check as well
    for malware.
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/93026-user-account-delete.html

Even if you do not see the virus on your other profiles, it might be in areas that will subsequently
cause problems in the other profiles. It would be preferable to eliminate malware from the machine
that can be done without using the profile infected from an ADMIN account.

If you need search malware here's my recommendations - they will allow you to
scrutiny and the withdrawal without ending up with a load of spyware programs running

    the cause.

No one program cannot be used to detect and remove any malware. Added that often easy
to detect malicious software often comes with a much harder to detect and remove the payload. Then
its best to be thorough than paying the high price later now too. Check with them to one
extreme overkill point and then run the cleaning only when you are sure that the system is clean.

It can be made repeatedly in Mode safe - F8 tap that you start, however, you must also run

  • Deleting the files offline (CSC)

Hello. I faced a problem with offline files and the Cache Client under Windows 7 (64 bit) Pro side. I am currently in offline mode, and I noticed that when I delete a file offline (cache) (same for files), via the windows Explorer for example, the updated version in the cache (in % systemroot%/csc) is not deleted but appears more like an empty file (0 bytes) with the same name. Note that the file "seems" have been deleted in the Explorer, but this deletion "superficial" problems with programs that seem to detect these "phantom" files (despite what Explorer could show).

If it's supposed to happen? If so, is there a simple way to stop it, noting that the CSC should not be modified directly?

Thanks in advance for any help.

  • Deleting the files corrupted in the recycled folder

I am running Windows XP and I have tried to run the defrag program.  The program will not work until the end because of corrupted files (4) in the recycled folder.  I can view the list of files by going to the command prompt, but no action that I have tried there will allow me to delete these files.  How can I delete these files in the recycled folder?

You have left out some important information and may not have read material thread the Tom very carefully.

Represents the drive on which this basket located in NTFS or FAT32 format?

On NTFS, XP drives, the name of the file from the Recycle Bin is DRIVE: \Recycler

On the FAT, XP drives, the name of the file from the Recycle Bin is DRIVE: \Recycled

(The name change again in Vista and Win 7, but you said you have XP)

If the drive is NTFS, it was converted to FAT32 or formatted directly?

If you used the CONVERT command to convert a drive to the FAT format on a disk formatted in NTFS, you will always have the directory drive: \Recycled old, but he is no longer the basket.  If this is the case, you can delete the whole directory (if ensure that a directory C:\Recycler exist, just in case) using rmdir /s in a command prompt window.

You can read all documents under the "basket" at http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_abc.htm

There are several methods to remove otherwise undeleteable files.  In ascending order of the drawbacks:

    Method 1
Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
Type the following commands in the command prompt window and press ENTER after each line

    CD C:\Recycled
    ATTRIB s h - r *. *
    Del *. *

If the last command was NOT successful, then

    Method 2
1 always open method command prompt window, start the Task Manager
Find explorer.exe in the processes list, right-click and select end process
Return to the command prompt window and see if del *. * will now delete the files
If the files are deleted, return to the Task Manager, click on file > new task (run...), type explorer.exe, and then click OK.

If the files still do not remove, then

    Method 3
Redemarrer restart in Safe Mode, and then follow the steps in method 1

If the files still do not remove, then

    Method 4
Download the iso file to a live Linux such as Knoppixdistribution.
Burn a CD using a tool like the free ImgBurn
Boot from the CD (you may need to change the boot order in your BIOS)
    Remove files from Linux

    Compress files

There are two ways to compress files in windows. Zip files and built-in file compression. It's built-in file compression. For more information on compression type zip in Start - Help and Support .

Photos, music and video are already compressed. They can get larger if Windows tries to compress it any further. Also usually a bad idea to compress system files.

If you have files of worksheet they can very well be compressed. If you have files, installation files, they can also be good candidates. Web pages are also good candidates.

In Windows Explorer, blue file names means Tablet (it is the file system compression not aka zip files compressed files). Green filename means Encrypted.

To disable file names colored, in Explorer - Tools menu (Alt + T)- display tab and then clear the check box for Show encrypted or compressed NTFS in color .

Windows compression, encryption and security to work for the most part by applying attributes to a folder and the files in the folder inherit the folder.

If you have all the files appropriate for compression, find them in solution, made Explorer right click - Properties - general -Advanced button tab - Compress contents to save disk space. Choose to apply to all files and folders when asked.

  • I can't put one of my photos as a background. It comes up with 'The file that c:\users\daniel\appdata\roaming\microsoft\windows Photo Gallery\Windows Photo Gallery wallpaper.jpg could not be written. Please help me.

Hi, I have problems on developing an image as a wallpaper on my laptop.

It comes up with 'The file that c:\users\daniel\appdata\roaming\microsoft\windows Photo Gallery\Windows Photo Gallery wallpaper.jpg could not be written.

I tried right click and do it the long way to go to appearance and personalization in the control panel in the start menu. None of these work and I wonder why it's happening.

my computer is Windows vista Home premium and is about half a year. If anyone knows how to solve the problem of it not allow me to set a background please give me suggestions.

    Dan

Treat it as a corrupted user file.  To fix this usehttp://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows-vista/Fix-a-corrupted-user-profile.  Use the new administrator account to do this.  Follow the directions given and everything will be fine and your new admin account should work normally.  Once you have ccnfired you can access, to all your acccess all of your programs and files, you can delete the old user obsolete and corrupt.

That's all there is to it.  Now that we know, this is the profile and not the system, the solution has been set for us.

I hope this helps. Feel free to post back with any questions as you go along.

    Good luck!

  • Deleting the files from unwanted program

I uninstalled a program, but I can't delete the files. When I "think" I deleted (recycle emptied) they reappear later. How can I get these on my computer? Oh, and it still shows on my installed programs (w/34.5 MG program sometimes stays, but no msg is used) and when I click on uninstall, it says there is no such file or directory. But there are? Me sorry I tried the shareware.  They are in c:/user/programfiles /-programs are PC Confidential by Winferno, SRS Studios and Stardock Objectdock.

    Hello
Assuming that you have uninstalled via the Control Panel, software (not only deleted the folder of the application) it might help to reinstall the offending application and uninstall it right afterwards.
    Kind regards
    Hans
