Deleted in SFDC leads/Contacts

When someone deletes a lead/contact in SFDC, what happens to the lead/contact in Eloqua?

For a test, I just deleted a SFDC lead, ran the auto sync and then check Eloqua and the lead still. After thinking about this a bit, I don't really know what's supposed to happen.

What I would like to make is if this lead/contact is deleted in SFDC, I wish that it should be deleted in Eloqua. Is this a common practice? Is there a reason why it should not be so?

A contact in Eloqua is not automatically deleted when it is deleted in Salesforce. What you can do on the 'get Deleted son' and 'Get the Contacts deleted' auto synchronizes add them to a list that is shared, you can transform an export of data, and then use export data as a download to remove contacts from Eloqua.

  • SFDC & Eloqua Contact Sync issue

    I'm not an expert with regard to the integration of Eloqua and Salesforce.

    Currently we are essentially creating records in double, double display, (1 in Eloqua) and 1 in SFDC to obtain a contact as quickly as possible in SFDC, created when a person fills out a form.

    But I think that it should be possible to create a new contact record in Salesforce within 5-10 minutes a person filling out a form for the first time without having to double post?

    Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

    It is very dependent on your configuration - a few things to consider:

    1. how fast/efficient is your integration program?

    -It works in priority Mode?

    -Are there things that can be handled in other programs who goes first (so slow down your speed to lead the creation)?

    2. do you have other things that must happen before a lead to be created? For example, when you have choice of country lists enabled in SFDC will make it necessary for you to present your data (in the integration process) in the right format or else you can see your calls fail, in which case you can have a washing contact running machine that slows the process.

    It is not always on the speed at which you get a lead in CRM, but how 'right' than there head of a lot of things to consider if you decide to speed up your process which can hinder the quality of the data.  There are also different approaches to integration, depending on your methodology of lead management that you can reconsider your integration completely and rebuild it according to your process.

  • Cannot delete or create new contacts

    I tried and it doesn't work I couldn't find abook.mab anywhere on my computer. I even uninstalled and reinstalled and it still does not work.

    (1) in the address book, select the name of the book personal address, and then Tools/Export, the LDIF file.

    (2) select Help/Troubleshooting Information, click view the folder to open the profile folder, out of TB, to delete or rename abook.mab.

    (3) restart TB, tools/import... Address books... Text file... Select the LDIF file in 1).

    (4) in the address book, select the address book imported in the left pane, then select all the contacts in the right pane (Ctrl-A) and drag them to the personal address book icon.

    PAB changes should now be kept.

    OK lets get something clear. Windows search is rubbish, it hides more it shows and is programmed to basically see only documents, not shutters. You might as well forget that there is when it comes to lifting heavy objects. If you want instructions on how to make this work of waste properly ask Microsoft they have your money for it, they can pay for a support for you.

    I don't know what you were doing or why you have published a set of instructions of your apparently unable to follow. I guess that export your address book as LDIF is not difficult.

    In Thunderbird. Who is loading the application
    It is menu (press F10 to display the menu, if it is not visible)
    Select the Help menu and then troubleshooting information
    Click view the folder to open the profile folder
    Close Thunderbird
    Remove or rename abook.mab in the window of windows Explorer open when you click the record show...

  • deletion of e-mail contacts

    Cannot delete a contact from my contact list. Contact situation changed so created a new contact record. The news is the only one that appears in the list of contacts.  However, when sending an e-mail and entering into the only first letter of the name of contacts, the previous contact information appears.     Let me understand you correctly the first...
    You had deleted a contact. You had created a new contact. When you open the list of contacts, you see the new contact. You do NOT see the old contact.
    Am I right so far?

    Assuming you are using Windows Mail (you should have mention that FIRST thing.)
    The reason to...
    Windows Mail has a " AutoComplete " application. When you type in the first or two letters, the willingness to 'semi-automatic' shows you the list of possible names that begin with 2 letters that you typed.
    Example: You typed J, O, and you'd Joseph on the list if Joseph was one of the last 29 names you used in your recent outgoing emails.
    This list is NOT in your Contact list.
    When you begin using names more different emails later, Joseph is removed "the last 29" list and you will never see this new
    .
    If the name you want is NOT in the list of the last 29, you will need to click on the Contacts button or button and find the name you want.

    Hope that I don't have not mistaken you with my attempt to explain.

  • Delete ad hoc Z10 contacts blackBerry and not able to save

    I got my Z10 one year and in recent weeks he has caused chaos with my contacts.  It has been deleted and contacts on an ad hoc basis and now prevents me to record any them where.  He began by doubling and tripling of numbers and others not.  I deleted the extras.  There is no rhyme or reason for the destruction that they are not alphabetical or used them more or less.

    I read a few other posts online, so for speed, I can confirm Yes as advised by O2, I installed the latest version and I restarted the phone too.  I have done some research online and you can see a few others have had a problem, but I'm not sure that there is a clear resolution on the posts.  They seem to indicate problems caused by save not not in the right place or uses do not see all the features as well in addition to restart: yes I use the "all button" to see my contacts and I tried to save everywhere and anywhere on the phone but nothing works.

    Ideas and suggestions?  Welcome!

    Ok. Try a reboot on your Z10 and see if you can then create a new Contact and save it.

    On your BlackBerry10 device:
    Restart: Press and hold the top power button seconds and tap the right lower REBOOT.
    or, restart: on the edge volume keys side, press and hold both the up and down keys of volume for about 20 seconds, ignoring the initial message of screenshot... the screen go black, reboot.

    Somehow when I start my new storm of synchronization, I'm done with 3 Desktop Contact lists - still, with the title of "Desktop".  Now, when I go to Contacts, I have 3 copies of each entry.  Anyone know how I can remove a contact list individually without resetting the unit? Thank you.

    I think I found it.   I did use BB Desktop Manager to back up my BB Bold device.  Then go back in the backup/restore, click the Advanced button to display the list of all DBs of device.   I had two entries to address (address and address - all).  We showed some 900 contacts the other 1800, which is where I suspect my duplicates occur.  I selected the address overall and clicked on delete / erase (regardless of the button).   He basically wiped my address book from my BB device.   I was then able to sync using BB Desktop Manager to replace all my contacts from my e-mail on my device.

    Under Contacts-> Options, there are still (2), Desktop Contact lists, but in my address book, there is that a single instance of each contact appear, so I'm happy.    It is an alternative / temp to have to wipe your BB device, which was the only alternative, that I could find online.

    Yes - go to Options - Security - security wipe.

    Note that this will wipe everything what she got on the phone itself.

    I noticed other people have had this problem and tried to solve using suggestions, but to no avail.

    I got an error that says "Recordset bad peripheral", I used the DataPurgeUI program and found a contact on my BlackBerry Pearl 8120, I can't delete or update, and she also does not update on my Mac when I sync it (I use PocketMac). I would avoid rather going down the road of the wiping of the thing, I just as one replacement for another phone and it took aaaaages configure all back again. Does anyone have an alternative?

    Your welcome, go to options, then click all at the top and on the third line down in the list of the version (e.g. 4.5.0) & must be the platform number.

  • My LS model will mark each lead/contact in our case?

    I have created my lead scoring template and now want to start it. Our instance is shared among all of the business and as such, I want to just mark 'my' group of contacts. These contacts can be referenced in a group e-mail, shared filter or segment. I tried to create a program to add my members then pass them throught he head model rating but it doesn't seem to be an option to do so.

    Am I right in thinking that as soon as I activate the model LS every single contact/lead in our instance will be marked? If so, I need to find away around it, otherwise I won't be able to use... That would happen if we had several models of rating all present at the same time? Will there be several fields of contact on each contact record to store this information?

    My rating model is ready to go, and I really need to know how to start this and just score on my son. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    the main rating model will run on all contacts... so you decide which group to look for market or update CRM with... it's when lists and filters come in the picture... If you don't want the entire database to be registered, you can still create a lead scoring program using program generator...

  • When I do a search (ctrl + K) and enter an e-mail address, an e-mail message comes that I deleted and references the contact that I also deleted.

    In the toolbar > help > Troubleshooting Information

    Click on the button show the Troubleshooting Information profile close Thunderbird in the window file opened, remove the global messages file - db.sqlite restart Thunderbird.

    Research will be trash until the file completely regenerates, which could take a whole day if you have 10 or 20 GB of mail. You can monitor the status of this using the activity Manager.

    Open your messages and search for a conversation with this person. Press 'I' icon in the upper right corner, then uncheck "do not disturb".

    It's actually quite easy to remove entries from AutoComplete. You should take a look at Knowledge Base article -Auto form fill . It will give you all the information you need.

    I don't think that there is a setting for this... but I never scroll beyond favorites so I don't mind.
