deleted recovery files
Hello! I have fully formatted somehow a portable Pavilion g4 1303au drive including filesystem reverie. I have 'Windows 7 System Recovery DVD and ubuntu' and 'Application and Driver Recovery DVD.
Is it still possible to recover my windows using these DVDs? If so, you please develop it myself. It will be a great help for me. Thanks there.
Reset the default BIOS and then try to recovery...
If the problem persists try it to run hard drive Diagnostics by typing F2 as soon as you turn on the laptop and then select the Test drive and check...

Satellite P750 - formatting the disk deletes C recovery files?
I own a Toshiba Satellite P750 and I want to install Windows 8 on my laptop, I wonder if the recovery files will be deleted which is what I mean is that after formatting the C drive and install a new OS, I'll be able to restore the laptop to factory settings (the out-of-box state).
After the installation of clean operating system, you will not be able to install the recovery image using HARD drive recovery facility.
You can install the clean version of the OS, but before we do this create recovery disc following the advice and instructions described in manuals s user document. -
How can I restore my factory settings.i deleted my recovery files
"How can I restore my laptop compaq presario cq57 windows computer factory settings 7", I deleted my recovery files.
Hello
If you have deleted the recovery Partition, you will not be able to create your own set of recovery disks, then you will need to order a replacement, set as described in my previous post.
If you use these replacement disks to reinstall the operating system, they will also recreate the hard disk recovery Partition - this will allow to use the 'method f11' reinstall Windows if you wish.
Kind regards

I would like to delete the files from recovery
Hello
Until I take my computer to get fixed, I did a complete backup of my files, etc. Because the computer has not crashed as I thought it might, I needed only to recover the portion of the music from my backup. I ran the restore files and the computer restored a full copy of my hard c drive. It takes a majority of space on my hard drive and I would like to know if I can delete these files. They are stored on c: / / System Recovery / and then two cases: c - what is a complete copy of my c drive and the music that is a copy of my music files.
Thank you
Hello
Yes, you can delete the files that you find is not necessary in this case. Make sure that you back up the files you need to another location so that you can use them later if necessary.

If the recovery partition is deleted, it is not possible to restore the system to factory settings. You must order the kit of recovery to restore the system to factory settings. See the following link for the procedure:

Hello
If you could not ask about your db, you can watch in the log_archive_dest_1 parameter, which is in the init.ora file, to know where are your archived log files.
my previous post would not be the solution to your problem, if so you can manually delete the archived logs and then delivers the command of rman below
overlap archivelog all

Stop deleting the recovery files
I wanted to recover a file that I closed without saving the changes, I knew I really needed. Photoshop saves the AutoRecover files in a certain folder, but only the files that are currently open. How can I get Photoshop do NOT delete these files from recovery?
Hi Vidap,
I don't think that there is a way to recover lost data from Photoshop, except for the restoration of a backup or something like Time Machine instant or history files of Windows 8. When you save/close your Photoshop document clears the data auto-sauvé.
ASR works you have an accident.
If you close the file that all temporary files are also deleted.
The AutoRecover folder location:
In Mac
~/Library/application support/Adobe /
/AutoRecover In Windows
C:\Users\[your username] \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\

Hello
By "file recovery", you mean the recovery Partition?
Who was photographed by the manufacturer of the computer's hard disk and there is nothing to do with Windows or Microsoft.
It is general information on the recovery Partition:
Your recovery Partition was photographed on your hard drive during the production of your computer by the manufacturer for all of these reasons.
1. If you want to reinstall Windows from in the case of a failure of the system, based on individuals or the keys at startup.
F10 or Alt + F10 or F11 are a couple of different manufacturers use sequences.
You will need to ask your manufacturer for proper sequence.
2. to make the recovery disks on if your drive hard breaks down, so that you can then reinstall the operating system on a new hard drive.
Also ask them how to make records.
Your D: Recovery Drive is should not be used for backups, defragmented, etc..
There are backups on an external hard drive.
To fix any problems that have occurred with the D: Partition Recovery, you need to contact the manufacturer of your computer to remove everything that was added on.
See you soon.

Hello
What is the best way to retrieve deleted mp3 files? I had a lapse of attention and I deleted a folder containing most of my music files. It is for the most part, the mp3 but there was regular audio files and some wav files in there also. I am running OSX Leopard 10.5.8 on a PowerPC G5 tower. I have another PPC machine to help the recovery, if I need, but at the moment, he is not appearing on my network (3 computers). I'm trying to change this soon. I'll be really grateful for any help in this matter.
Thanks to Chris
If you emptied the Recycle Bin after you move the folder to the trash, and you don't have a time Machine or another backup, then it is lost, sorry.

Hello
I'm looking at a friends by Satellite C50D-B-120. It does not start. There OpenOffice files on it, but I don't know exactly where. If I try the "Refresh your PC" option troubleshooting it will delete all files?

Hi Matt
I found very interesting Toshiba technical support document in the Knowledge Base, and I think it might be useful to you.
Windows Recovery 8 & repair
APS2. Toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB2A03ES0000R01.htmThe 'Refresh' option is primarily a repair technique. It is a good method to return your PC to a known good state while preserving your files and a large part of your configuration. With the option "Refresh your PC", accounts of users, data files and some settings are retained on your PC without the need to create a backup or make choices about what to keep or delete.
This means that the data should not be affected by using the update your PC option.

General file recovery
If you stop using the drive, it is possible to recover files that have not been overwritten by using the recovery software such as MAC Data Recovery, Data Rescue II, recovering files or TechTool Prodeleted. Each of the previous ones come on a bootable CD for use without risk of writing, more data on the hard drive. Two free alternatives are disc drill and TestDisk. Look for them and demos to MacUpdate or CNET downloads. Recovery software generally provide trial versions that allows you to determine if the software would help before actually paying for it. Beyond that, or if the drive has completely failed, you must send the drive to a recovery service which is very expensive.
The hard drive remains the most widely used and the data are recorded, the greater the chance that your deleted files will be overwritten.
Also, visit The FAQ XLab and read the FAQ on data recovery.

Hi people,
I accidentally deleted some files in EZmedia NAS.
Trash? Any application? Nothing to do?
Thank you!
Hi JoeSRV,
Unfortunately, there is no such thing on these devices. We always recommend to have at least two locations to backup your data, just in case. You will need data recovery or file.

deleted recovery partition - but not additional disk space?
Hi all
I recently bought a HP pavilion x 2. My first job has been upgraded to Windows 8.1, which she leaves me until I have 20 GB of available. It is at this time, I realized just how much the memory of 64GB has been taken over - including a 15 GB recovery partition - odd.
So, next work was to remove that. I have created a backup according to the instructions and deleted the partition by using the HP Recovery Wizard. However, the total memory usage is not passed down. I'm now 18GB total free on a drive rather than 16 GB on a partition and 2 GB on another partition (raw numbers). This suggests that recovering the files themselve have not been deleted. I think I found the recovery of files in the appdata/temp folder (4 x 4 GB file which seems to live up to those on the recovery disc).
So my question is: is it safe to delete these files? Is there an 'official' way to make using the hp recovery tool, that I would like to delete all files recovery which are now obsolete because I have an external backup, not only the large memory those?
In addition, can provide advice on which programs are "secondary market" and therefore safe for me to uninstall I should consider their Needless to release me until a short memory. I realize how fickle computers can be when you try to get rid of things pre-installed.
Can't find this on the forums, but apologies if this has been asked before.
Any help appreciated. Thank you.
Hello
Given that you have created a backup copy according to the instructions. It should be ok to remove the partition recovery (already deleted anyway) so very sure to remove all the files KNOWN.
Kind regards.

My dell PC crashed then I followed the news online & tried to reinstall windows XP from my original CD. However, the keyboard & mouse stop working when the installation gets to the 33 minute section which requires me to a box on the screen. I saw tips online who says lets you check the setupapi log & delete the file question (s) that prevents the installation but it required that use you SHIFT & F10 to enter the command prompt screen, but my keyboard is isolated at this time. So I went in the recovery console (I think it's the command prompt)? but I don't know which of the listed commands to use to perform the advice. I would be very grateful for help.
Thank you
Repair installs being problematic, I would not waste any more time at this stage. You are ready to perform a clean installation?
