  I have a MacBook Pro (mid 2009) running 10.11.6.  When I delete the items that they don't end up in the trash, as they disappear.  I no longer get the message asking if I want to delete these items.  I have this option checked in my Finder preferences, but it doesn't seem to work.

  Try to repair your home folder permissions.

  You need to boot into Recovery.

  In the main window, choose Terminal from the Utilities menu.

  Enter the following command and press return:

  ResetPassword

  Don't worry, you will not change your password.

  When the password reset utility opens, select your hard drive, and the user account.

  Click on the ACL button and the Reset folder permissions.

  Quit the utility, restart normally.

  Option not to get:

  Do one of the following:

  • Remove the item from your iTunes library only: click on a file to keep.
  • Remove the item from your computer: click on move to the trash. The item is deleted the next time you empty the trash.

  I think you need to delete the queue. For Windows, try it please:

  Hold down the Windows key and press R.
  from the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.
  If the computer asks you to Admin, you have to accept that,
  regarder watch down to the print spooler service, right-click and select Properties
  Click the Stop button,
  Go to C:\Windows\System32\Spool\printers
  delete the job inside this folder
  restart the machine.

• Impossible to delete some items from the library

  I open the .acsm file by Digital Editions to download ebooks on my Windows PC (I allowed my Adobe ID for it). Then I tried to delete these items ebook in library of Digital Editions. Unfortunately, once I restarted Digital Editions, these ebooks reappears in the shelves.

  I tried to allow out of my Adobe ID and to re - authorize, or to uninstall and reinstall Digital Editions. Unfortunately, if I allow my ID Adobe Digital Editions, these ebooks will appear in my shelves. It seems that these elements ebook have been download on Adobe's cloud servers. But there is a bug that I can't delete them. The same problem appears in Digital Editions on Android.

  Anyone encounter the same problem? Have a solution?

  It's quite common - there are several discussions about this.

  Simplest solution is to an empty folder on the disc, and drag it to the trash. LR will then work until you restart. You can empty the trash or not. Don't forget to make a different folder when you restart the computer.

• Removing items from Array Collection

  Hello. I have a collection of table that consists of the elements defined in the PlayListEntry class. I want to delete all items that have the property value select is set to false. That's what I came up with, it works fine, but only removes half of the items at once. I think it's because when you delete and point with removeitemat() it shifts the indexes of the items. How can I get around this?

  I have to see if the table 1 contains elements of table 2 and then form another array that contains elements that are not present in the table Array1.

  I tried to go an and compare other but does not know this exceptionas of arrayIndexoutOfBound gives the length of table 1.

  There are several ways to do so. Where is the best depends on how many items it can be in each table, if the elements, or both, the tables are already in a sorted order, and if these are real berries or instances of a Collection class.

  If you want to just brute force, then we forget about loops nested and just do the simple way. Here is pseudocode, which should be enough for you to write correct code. This method is very effective for all but very little evidence of the table

  For a larger number of items you could order to each of the tables in the order, then through table array1 array2 looking for the item. You would keep track of each index value of paintings. If the first element of the array array2 is smaller than the first element of the array array1 it cannot therefore in the table because the list is sorted. So you increment the index of table 1 and test again.

  This method is similar to the way in which two sorted files are merged or mapped.

  Another way is to create a GAME (does not allow duplicates) for the elements of the array array1 and then use the 'contains' to check each element of the array array2 to see if it belongs to the whole.

  Recently, I moved my library of Photos from a hard drive on the mac. I am only looking at these photos, just what is on iCloud is duplicate or irrelevant. As soon as I opened the library (after import) it showed an error message saying "to download the complete library, delete the incomplete items, then set this library as the library of the system preferences and activate iCloud photo library. This will disable the iCloud photo library on other libraries. I don't want to do that, I know that it will remove some of my pictures. Is there a way to stop this from happening?   You get warned about 'incomplete elements', if you use iCloud photo library with the option "Optimize Mac Storage".  In this case, some of the photos of your IDP photo library are only in smaller versions optimized on your Mac and full resolution originals are only in iCloud.  Photos tells you, that he may not use small, optimized versions of the pictures and need to remove them and needs to download full icloud versions. When you try to use a copy of a photo library with optimized versions and do not your iCloud photo library, Photos will remove elements optimized library, because the originals are not available with iCloud disabled for this copy. You can't prevent it.
