I always get a migwiz Windows window at startup. How can I get rid of him?
Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!
Ideas:
- You have problems with programs
- Error messages
- Recent changes to your computer
- What you have already tried to solve the problem
Migwiz belongs to the Windows Easy Transfer program. If you have used (or something like the easy transfer Belkin software), uninstall it if you are done with it. Once you have made the transfer you have no more. If you have already uninstalled the program, and then follow the instructions of MVP Ramesh on the link below. Substitute 'Folder Dell' information for your own.

I was wondering, is - this happened when you were NOT on the admin account?
If so, log into your admin account > open a porgram office > click on accept > exit Office program > sign out of the account admin > login to your normal user account.
The popup appears again?P.S. you are using Vista or Win7?
If Win7, try to go into safe mode > open Office program > click on accept > exit Office > restart. For the benefits of others looking for answers, please mark as answer suggestion if it solves your problem.

When I connect to the net with my broadband prepaid, (error tk_scandr) keeps popping up. How can I get rid of him.
Hi StevoD1,
(1) if it works well before?
(2) remember to make changes?
(3) what version of Windows you are running on the computer?
(4) what is the complete error message you receive?
Put the computer to boot and then check if the problem persists
Follow step 1 in the link below,
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7
If everything works well after a clean boot, you can deduce that some third-party services are at the origin of the problem.
Continue with the remaining steps to pin-point on the third party service.
After find you the program that is causing the problem, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program, if you rarely use that you should consider uninstalling the software.Important: n ' forget not to put the computer to a normal startup follow step 7 in the link.

I have Acrobat professional 9. I moved it to my new computer Windows 10. Whenever I have printed on a home printer it ask again me if I want to improve and I only have 12 days to do it. How can I get rid of him. I have a valid license. What is the cost and benefits, the upgrade to Acrobat 9 professional to the latest version (I think it's X)
No, X is not the last. In fact, X, as 9 is now unsupported. After X XI, after that XI was DC. DC is the current version. No upgrade price from 9 more, unfortunately. You can subscribe to DC, and this is recommended because it gets new features faster and includes future updates (probably will be necessary as Microsoft moves to Windows 10 edition when they feel like it, instead of waiting for Windows 11/12 etc..)

Flash Player pop up box "requesting permission to store information on my computer" does not and will not disappear. How can I get rid of him. It is most annoying that there is in the middle of the screen.
Move the cursor over the video. Right-click. Click on settings, click on the box "don't ask again". And then click Close. This will work.
For some reason, always worked for me, but in the last two days, it does not work, and it seems to freeze on the
video. See if it works for you.

Desktop Explorer folder appears on my desktop in Windows 7. How can I get rid of him?
I have a "Desktop browser" folder on my desktop on my system (64-bit) Windows 7 Professional. I don't remember whether there when I installed the operating system. I can't delete the file or open it. What is this and how do I get rid of him? I guess it's a folder only because its icon appears as my 'Work' folder on my desktop.
Thank you for your help.
JammersHammer
There is no part of Windows 7 called "Explorer desktop. Something you have installed perhaps put it there.
Left icon when you click on the desktop, and then press the F5 key to refresh?
The icon seems to have 'life' - i.e., anything or change the cursor when you go over it or click it? It is not perhaps part of the wallpaper you are using is it?
