  As it is has no drivers 64 bit Windows 7 on Dell Web site, your best chance is to install the 64-bit versions of Vista (if they exist) in compatibility mode, viz:

  Right click on the Vista driver, then select Properties > Compatibility tab. Now choose to run the program in Vista compatibility mode and then apply > OK. Right click on the file and select run as administrator to install it.

  I just upgraded from Vista Home to Vista Ultmate and my Dell Inspiron reboot correctly... remember to come by saying she does not restart... gives me a lot of options (safe mode,..., normally).  The only way to get it to start is to force a complete power down (holding the button power for 10 seconds) and then try to restart about 3 or 4 times.  Very weird.

  I have seen a lot of posts on this same problem with Maxx Audio in Windows 10, however, I tried to fix it by trying different solutions, that users have given and I had no chance. I uninstalled the driver and reinstalled the Dell expects W10 and Maxx Audio controls do not work.   I use a Dell Inspiron 1420 system. I hope that what I say below apply to your model, because most of the users of other brands could not follow my method.

  Right-click on a free space of the desktop > customize > mouse pointers (Yes, the mouse pointer) > here's where others could not follow...
