Dell Repository Manager Server Update Utility (SUU) plug-ins do not install

Hello..

I am trying to create a USB for my filing of server Dell SUU and whenever I'm trying to export my package, it says:

"The required plugin is not found."

"Click here to install the plugin.

I click on the link to install and it starts to download SUU_720.cab (240MB) (the have done a few time now) file and confirms that it has been downloaded successfully. But as soon as I click on finish, it will pop up with an error saying:

"SUU directory creation failed with error, SUU plugin is not available.

Although I just downloaded and installed the plugin!

And checked the cab file exists: C:\Users\***\AppData\Local\RepositoryManager\Payloads

I have attached a few screenshots below to show what I mean.

Any help is very appreciated!

Thank you

Hello Traoré

What version do you use? If you're not in version 1.5 so I recommend the update to her.

http://en.community.Dell.com/TechCenter/systems-management/w/wiki/1767.Dell-Repository-Manager.aspx

The ACR 7.2 just came out a few days ago, and this is the first I've heard of this issue. If we find that there is a compatibility issue with a specific version of the repository Manager, or a problem with the cab itself, then I'll let our development team to know. Please let me know the version you are using.

Thank you

  • Error checking DELL Repository Manager signature

    Members of the Forum-

I get an error with Dell Repository Manager 1.4.104 trying to create my first deposit.  I choose Create-> New name the repository and then select repository Dell Online (ftp.dell.com) as my source repository.  When I click Next, I get the following error: "error loading repository.  Check digital signature to 'ftp://ftp.dell.com/catalog/Catalog.cab' error' ideas about what causes this error?  I can access the FTP site from the computer that I use the repository Manager, so I'm pretty sure that it isn't a problem with the network.

I must apologize for the problems you are having. Not excuses, but we had the "perfect storm" internally with some elements and its been interesting to say the least. I promise you, we are working on this literally around the clock for this to be resolved. I was hoping I could get the steps you follow for this to fail, end to end so I can reproduce here. As I type this, I'm importing the catalog 9Gig together to see where issues can be always appearing.

I couldn't make you, who clears the cache of your Certificate Revocation list? You must close all applications before running the command.  from a command prompt run as Administrator: certutil - urlcache * delete

Then repeat the import/export. I tried to import only single file as part of a bundle, he correctly imported and exported to the SUU directory correctly. I did it on my system and a newly installed system, and it worked perfectly.

  • Stop indicates a ready to install update ready but the judgment does not install anything

Using a Windows 7, 16 k RAM system, always had normal installation of updates when there is a "!" stated in the stop start button. Today, there is an indication that an update is ready to install, but when I stop, there is no indication that one or more updates is installed. and when I start the computer the "!" is still there in the start stop button. I tried see if there are specific updates available for the instillation, and no seems to be there. But, as noted, every time I'm going to stop there is indication of an update ready for instillation that is not installed with the computer of the system/stop. Direction/advice/thoughts?

Once the Fixit has been downloaded and the system is started in the pure State, check that the native Windows Firewall is now on if a 3rd party firewall has been used previously. Now run the Fixit and choose the default mode. Restart once it's done and see if the system can be connected to the update servers. If he can't, then rerun the Fixit and choose aggressive mode. Turn it back on when he finished the race and updates.

I suggest before you stop and install the updates, disconnect from the Internet, first.

    Hello

It's true that the upgrade to DC will remove Acrobat XI and plug-ins is automatically deleted as well.

However your settings or preferences will not carry over, so it would be clean, wipe and install.

You can save your work and access with Acrobat DC.

  • VMware Host Update Utility 4.1 VI does not settle with the VI Client?

I installed the VI Client 4.1 and noticed that it is not seeking to install the VI host update utility.  After installation, it is not installed.  I don't see a separate download for VI host updated.  Does anyone know how to install it now?  Thank you.

As far as I can tell the vSphere Host Update Utility has been abandoned and you must use the vihostupdate through the CLI.  Good luck, thank you.

  • Updates 2478658 KB and KB2518864 could not install and cause a loss of internet connectivity

    Hello

Updates KB2478658 and KB2518864 cannot be installed in my SBS 2003 and caused a loss of internet connectivity.

A while ago, I had a similar problem, i.e. do not install and loss of internet connectivity after you apply Windows Server 2003 SP2 on SBS. In this case, we have solved the problem with the support of a Customer Support person Microsoft, a service through which we paid.

According to the suggestions that I found in the Microsoft Web sites, I managed to remove everything that was installed by the KB2478658 and KB2518864 updates and the reinstalled successfully. I did these manually because I don't have an internet connection.

After you have reinstalled the above mentioned security updates, I repeated all the steps that led to the problem of the previous time. Among the steps taken, have been indicated in:

Common problems of networking after you apply Windows Server 2003 SP2 on SBS

    http://support.Microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB; EN-US; 948496

Unfortunately, I was unable to restore connectivity to the internet this time.

There is connection between the NETWORK card and router. I could ping the NIC IP address, but not that of the router (I get an "unreachable" message).

I look forward to suggestions and recommendations to solve this problem. I have already paid once resolved a problem that was not directly caused by me and do not wish to do it again.

    Thanks in advance.
