  Finally I figured out the AutoHotKey
  My game Hegemonia works now...
  Dell Inspiron 1545 with Windows Vista, I have...
  My keyboard doesn't have the Pause/break key which is needed to pause the game Hegemonia...
  So I remapped my right Alt key in Pause button...

  Here's what I did and what you should do if you have problem like this:

  -Download and install AutoHotKey software.

  -Then go to my programs on the Start Menu and open the program "AutoHotKey."

  -Now, let him register a file where it asks to save it in.

  -If the icon does not appear upward again in the lower right of your screen then go and open the program to 'AutoHotKey' once again, now it should appear in the lower right.

  -Right-click on the icon 'H' of the clock in the bottom right of your screen and select "edit this Script.

  -Remove all of this notebook and just put this code in it:

  RAlt: ^ break

  -And then save the file and close it.

  -Then right click on that 'H' icon again and choose "reload this Script.

  I regularly use accented letters in formal and informal contexts in several languages and I need a numeric keypad for typing these. I bought the Dell Studio 1555 without realizing account as the keyboard completely lacking a numeric keypad integrated. I can't switch back between, say, Spanish and German keyboards standard because I use the Dvorak layout and feel that force me to change the layout I use natively just for a missing feature on a keyboard is not a real solution to the problem.

  Is it possible to assign keys fn key to, say, the top row? No combination of Fn, shift, NumLock (reassigned to F6) allows me to type alt codes.

  I was given a Dell Studio 1555 and finally had time to reload a new installation of the OS from the disk of the factory.   Did you install The Dell software system utility and drivers Intel PM45 Express Chipset Family, GM45 Express Chipset Family, PM55 Express Chipset Family, Chipset, HM57 Express Chipset Family, v.9.1.1.1015, A01 Cantiga first? The combination of these two drivers know what is connected to your system.

  Does not turn my dell studio 1555 laptop computer. I tried all the troubleshooting option provided in the dell forums.

  Here are the steps:

  • Disconnected all external devices on the computer, including the battery and the AC adapter / CC.
  • Press and hold the power button for 20 seconds.
  • Reconnected the battery and the adapter.

  After checking all the options of this still my laptop does not turn. I am not able by any beeps as well.

  I even checked the video output connect my laptop with an HDMI cable on other devices (TV). The screen is blank.

  Kindly let me know what we can do more.

  Check that the LED on the adapter lights before plugging the end of the book.  If this is not the case, replace the card.

  Try without the battery - if it will then light up, the battery is bad.

  Unplug, remove the battery, press power for 30 seconds and remove and reinstall the bars of memory.  Try again.

  If it lights with a good map and without the battery, replace the motherboard.
