  I created a form of dependent drop-down list in Acrobat X Pro using the example in the tutorial:

  This code works very well, however, this tutorial only works if the options for dropdwon lists are complete words. Several words separated by spaces cannot be used because the main list options are used in the form of tables. In this tutorial, for example, the main list options are: Chassis, clutch, etc. (a Word). This technique does not work is for example, if the options in this list are 'Cylinder Ring', 'Insert', etc.

  Any ideas on how to implement function dropdow lists using multi-word options?

  Just put in quotes the properties of the object. For example:

  I have a form that has a dependent drop-down list, that is, if a user selects a value, another drop-down list is filled with other choices. This works with success, however if a user saves the form with these selected values, when they open the form again the first drop-down list value disappeared; is it possible to validate this value when the form registers so it does not disappear on reopen?

  using invokeAction is not a strong implementation as it fails for applications PPT. It only loads when the page is refreshed and there, it is not very reliable. The best option is to write code in the valueChangeListener for the departmentId field and run the query programmatically.

  I'm a poster for the first time, but I found valuable information here in the past, so I hope someone can help me with a PDF form that I created.

  I'm looking to have a choice from a drop-down list (departments) complete 4 other drop-down lists (software available for the selected Department).

  For example: in box1, the user selects 'Graphics' Box2, Box, Box 4 and 3 Box5 is filled with the same exact options (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)

  Currently, I can fill Box1 and according to what is selected framed 2 fills correctly.  However, I can't get the other boxes to be filled. I've been using the referenced scripts here and I will paste it below.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Let's say you have two combo - box1 and box2 boxes.

  And let's give box1 chooses 3: Blank, a and b.

  If the user chooses option, box2 will contain choices C and D.

  If the user chooses option, box2 will contain the choice E and F.

  Don't forget to check the "selected value Commit immediately" for the boxes.

• Dependent drop-down box ADF problem

  I use Jdev 11 g and trying to implement two dependent drop-down list boxes (change of a drop-down list box will invoke the change list in another dynamic). I followed the steps exactly from this link,

  However, once I start the page, only the Department box appears. The box of the employee shows ever upward. When I look at the newspaper, it is the following warning message.

  WARNING: ADFv: selected item corresponding to the value of 100 type could not be found: oracle.jbo.domain.Number in the list of values.
  
  If I choose one of the elements in the service box, the area still used does not appear and the right warning message printed in the newspaper.

  In my subpage, there are three areas of drop-down list D1, D2 and D3.
  
  D3 is grid to level 1 on a secondary page and the quick Table in D3 have 3 Keys.Key 1 and 2 keys are the same field as D1 and D2. As the D3 is dependent on the D1 and D2.
  The first time, D3 empty remains same I selects values D1 and D2, but when I EndModal (1) and then come back, D3 has values.
  
  What is going on?

  Yes, this seems ok, as D3 is dependent on the key high level D1 and D2 and you delete all lines, which leaves a new line empty.
  I thought that if you select auto on on your grid values of D1 and D2 should automatically be copied at level 1.
  If this isn't the case, it has no harm to set these values as you.

  Note that this will change the buffer and the user receives a message that the changes have been made and if the user want to continue or go back and save.
  So a DoSave() somewhere in your code would be nice.

  Looks like I'm '0' batting today. For some reason I'm not able to get a number of things working today... Maybe I should just write off that day as a loss... ; >)

  Another way; I'm trying, unsuccessfully, to get forms to become visible depending on what is selected from a drop-down list. I tried to use "switch" (see below), but I end up getting the famous error "syntax".

  I also tried an 'if' statement (see below), but that doesn't seem to work either.

  What I would like to ask you is when a user selects 1 of 2 choices 1 2 forms sub becomes visible.

  So, if the user has selected in the drop-down list of the bad and they choose now to select the right pair, I want the form incorrect sub to again become invisible.

  I'd appreciate any help

  What statements do not use "else". You must specify each value. But you can nest another code in a statement that.

  Using a drop down you need to get the new value when the selection is made.

  Thus (guess what you did 'Specify the item values' liaison for the DDL tab):

  Hi, im doing a form that only shows some options based on the previous selections.

  So far I have buttons which allow a user to select a specific product, and then by using the drop-down combo boxes select some optional features.

  I then have a simple javascript code that bears the name of a product at a price (i.e. the user selects product 'A', the review sections shows priced at $ 99).

  My problem is with additional customization options that depend on previous choices.

  Is it possible to have some drop-down list boxes become visible depending on the selection in a previous drop-down list box? If yes how could I impliment it?

  Currently my best idea is to have a button that could ask the user if he or she had previously chosen a certain selection and then reveal areas of correct drop-down list accordingly.

  With a small change I think that the code works as expected. I changed your mainDD.value to event.value, as on the validate event the mainDD.value property cannot be updated as expected.

  I think you should be able to use the following code in the event change of the dropdownlist control.

  Hi all, I would like to implement the task of today + 2 days due date IF the drop-down list type is a known value AND if the deadline is today.

  I don't think that default post won't work here. You can use the workflow to update expiration date field if the type is known.
  Create a workflow wiith the following criteria
  Registration type: activity
  Active: Y
  Triggering event: when the new record
  Workflow rule condition: [] = "To Do" AND [] = today()

  Workflow actions
  Action1
  Wait
  Active: Y
  Reassess the rule Conditions after waiting: Y
  Duration: 0 minutes
  Action2
  Update field after the Action of waiting
  Active: Y
  Field name: Due Date
  Value: Today () + 2
  Replace the existing values: Y

• Subforms appear depending on a drop-down list selection

  I need several subforms to appear in function which is selected from a drop-down list. I've specified 7 item values, if the person chooses the item 1, I would like to point 1 subform to appear.

  If the person chooses point 2 or 3 point as well. I would like to both subforms to appear.

  How can I do this?

  I also, for items for does not appear on the once selected drop-down list. I know that JavaScript will appear in the case of "change."

  Based on what you have asked, I made a simple example with 2 subforms. If the option of the subform drop 1 will be shown then if you select drop-down list will appear 2 2 subform

  Try first with the variables so please bear with me.  Two drop-down lists.  The user selects a location of the Court.  Based on the selection the fall of the second list provides a list of employees. Barnstable & Bristol selections work as expected.  But the list of officer of probation of Berkshire 'empty' on the bottom.  How the heck can I get rid of "empty"?  I've included some notes with the script in the sample.

  Everything is displayed properly on the page.  onDDChange is called and it shows a Toast that the option has been selected.  Here is what I currently have in onDDChange:
