  LCM 1.0.2 supports this operating system for customization. Most likely, the problem is in VCenter himself.

  Can take you a look at the VC newspapers to see what the problem with the customization?

  In addition, you can try the same cloning/customization directly from VCenter to see if he succeeds?

  If you receive the same error, LCM cannot do much in this situation.

  The data source is not actually defined for the model, but for the entity. Add a DMS annotation with a data source item in the model element:

  The source of data for an entity definition is OK when you override the default data source that is defined in the model.

  Here is the procedure to improting FVO temeplate VMWare workstation.

  Double click on the ovf template file, it will automatically import to vmware workstation.

  Or try to deploy template ovf 64bits to esx server. ?

  If you try to deploy vMA 64bits snoring within esxi server its not going to work. (this is not viritualitation properly nested)

  Deploying the model through WAN may not always a good idea. See your condition I can suggest an alternative.

  Three servers NFS in each installation location and configuration mirrored across these (not sure how effectively and easily, this can be done)

  In each server ESX locations, mount the local sharing NFS n keep models VM. tesmplates must be synchronized/updates mirrored slowly on the other serversdepending on the configuration

  Option 1. Create the model of the ADF BC and deploy it in a library of the ADF. Import the library of the ADF in the application template project and reuse it for your building view
  Option 2. Deploy the model BC ADF of EJB and hook up to it via JNDI
  Option 3. Deploy the ADF BC as an SDO Service and build the model of your deployed service application

  For a web application - honestly - only option 1 makes sense. If you deploy ADF BC as an EJB, then you don't win all benefit when parts of two applications are deployed on the same server. So the question is, what would be the advantage of the deployment of the model on server1 and the viewLayer on server server2?

  It doesn't matter if this host joins the cluster or remains outside the cluster, as long as it's part of your vCenter inventory.

  You can deploy virtual machines of your models that exist in your vCenter inventory. No need to export these as the OVF.

  But Yes if this fourth host you have in place will not join the vCenter inventory you need your vCenter templates to export OVF models so they can be used to deploy virtual machines to your hosts of stand-alone esxi (not managed by vCenter).

  (Environment: vCenter and ESXi 10 5.1 hosts running Build #3070626)

  We have a model 2012R2 and a file specification of customization that allows us to deploy the VMs 2012R2 server. It worked well for a while. After the Christmas break, it seems more work correctly and we havn't knowingly changed anything to cause this. We have fixed our ESXi hosts Build #3070626 October 6, but have deployed VMs of model since, without problem.

  We have all staged for the VM in advance (IE AD entry of objects and DNS). And then powered the deployed virtual computer, sysprep runs, but does not seem to apply settings in the customization file (IE rename the virtual computer, set the Admin password, join the domain etc.). If feed us the cycle of the VM, sysprep is running again, but even once, does nothing.

  I have attached the contents of my file guestcust.log of a computer deployed virtual (see below), but I do not see the clues about the problem. I thought initially the error on the first line was important, until I've found it is also present on the virtual machines that have been successfully deployed from this template in the past, so it's maybe a Kipper.

  Does anyone have advice for troubleshooting this?

  OK, I myself fixed the end.

  I created a new customization file with exactly the same settings as the old file, and it worked. I can only assume that the old customization file has been altered somehow.

  I have created a new model for 2012 Server R2 and I created a specification tailored to go with it. I went to test the deployment of the other day and it seemed that the personalised has not quite finished. He had put the local administrator password and baptized, but he does not join the domain. I finally understood that after the deployment, the NETWORK adapter is not connected despite having me 'connect to light' checked in the model. We are using the VMXNET 3 card.

  I've been messing around with the template for the past 2 days and I am stuck as to why it does not work. I tried the following...

  -checked the windows firewall is disabled (3 options) (Re: ESXi 5 VM / Server 2008 R2 loses the network connection after reboot)

  -removed NIC; cleaned up the registry to the HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network\; restarted; readded NIC (it was to eliminate any ghost NICs) (http://vnetwise.wordpress.com/2012/06/09/vmware-template-deploymentspart-1-trying-to-modify/)

  -Remove vmware tools and reinstall. (http://vnetwise.wordpress.com/2012/06/09/vmware-template-deploymentspart-1-trying-to-modify/)

  -card network in the operating system, unchecked "allow the computer to turn off to save energy" (Re: ESXi 5 VM / Server 2008 R2 loses the network connection after reboot)

  -checked that my new 2012R2 model uses the same host cluster and storage as my 2012 model that works. Also on the same port group distributed. (Essentially, all parameters of vcenter are identical between the two models)

  -also tried disabling the NETWORK card in the model (Windows Server 2012 comments customization)

  I have re-deployed the same server about 10 times and each time after deployment, you can see restart and try starting the customization but it crashes. If I manually turn the NIC on it is completed successfully. The problem is that I don't want to have to do that each time I deploy a server. Why is it disable the NIC and unchecking my option to connect to turn on and how to fix this?

  Based on tests (as detailed below):

  5.1 U2 - when patterns of deployment Server R2 2012 using a custom form, the NIC is not on after the deployment despite having ' connect at power on "checked.

  Problem solved: you need to update the hardware VM version from 8 to 9 on the template (also be sure to check "running on check and put vmtools")

  When you create a new virtual machine from scratch in 5.1 U2, he apparently uses VM Hardware version 8 instead of the latest v9. Once I upgraded it, made sure to check the box to have check and tools upgrade vm market, deploying with customization works and the NETWORK adapter is enabled when lit!
