  It's a 2 machines virtual OVF (vcOPS). I tried to create the virtual machine and adding the VMDK but there are has so many OS errors when starting the operating system I think that maybe (hopefully), there is an easier way to do it.

  I checked all my services are up and actually I am not able to understand the origin of trace the error information. I checked in the logs folder, but was not helpful. Please advice how to solve this problem.

  I use EMP 11.1.2.3 application and Essbase created in the new library of the Application. But I'm not able to deploy this application to Essbase server.

  Please find the journal of validation below folder. The result indicates success. But when I checked the status in the console work, it is abandoned. Please could you help me to deploy the application.

  Did you do a right click on the application in the application library and run the diagnostics, have you checked the epma and essbase, newspapers is essbase studio works ok as epma use studio to deploy.

  Copy the folder "Report Style Sheets" of

  \\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\products\FinancialManagement\Server working folder

  TO

  \\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\products\FinancialManagement\Server working folder

  After you have copied the folder, if it please redeploy the application and check if it works.

  I was working at the request of the MAF with old android SDK, which has been downloaded a few months back.

  I downloaded the latest SDK the android site form. But now the app is not deployed.

• Unable to deploy the NOR-XNET database on target RT

  Currently, I am expierencing trouble with NOR-XNET databases on an RT target deployment.

  When I check my alias on my local computer, all right. The problem is the target, it is stuck on the alias used previously, and I can't add new ones.

  When I open "Manage aliases" database editor and enter the target IP, the program crashes. Same thing with LabView; When I click on "Manage the deployment of the database" in the drop-down list where I choose LabView crashes database files. When I simply click 'Browse for database file', nothing happens. With the databases that are currently in memory, I get a dropdown list out all signals in this database.

  Who knows what could cause the link broken between my computer and the target, it is impossible to deploy new database?

  I'm using Labview 2010 SP1 with NOR-XNET 1.5, and I've attached all drivers installed on the target.

  Disabling the firewall did the trick! I could update all the databases on the target, and the two problems have disappeared.

  So, if you can't deploy a NOR-XNET database, disable the windows firewall!

• OBIEE 11.1.1.7.1 Cluster - unable to deploy the RPD on Node1 (node2 works very well)

  We found a problem after the upgrade of our Cluster OBIEE of 11.1.1.5 to 11.1.1.7.1. The system works as expected and all operational services. However, we discovered a problem with the Fusion Middleware control.

  When you deploy a new version of the RPD file, the system copies the RPD to:

  -Ocfs folder shared (for example: < Filename > 0028.rpd.000001) as expected

  (- Node2 RPD file < OBI_INSTANCE > / bifoundation/OracleBIServerComponent/coreapplication_obis1/repository) as expected

  2 problems that happened during the deployment process:

  (- It has NOT copied in the folder of prd Node1 < OBI_INSTANCE > / bifoundation/OracleBIServerComponent/coreapplication_obis1/deposit)

  -In addition, it has not changed on the NQSConfig.INI with the new version of the RPD (Star = PROD_BI0027.rpd, default value);.

  As a result, the RPD on Node1 is out of sync. Only Node2 integrates the latest version of the RPD. Everything worked fine before the upgrade process.

  We have seem some newspapers being generated on the BI system when this problem happened. We upload files to this SR for your appreciation. Some errors are related to the:

  By the documentation of the OVFTool (at http://www.vmware.com/support/developer/ovf/ovf20/ovftool_201_userguide.pdf), it seems that you should be able to deploy an OVF to a resource pool by using something like:

  ovftool.exe -ds myDatastore01 testAppliance.ovf vi://myVCenterServer/TestDatacenter/host/esx-host1.example.com/Resources/SmallResourcePool
  

  You do not use the correct values for the vCenter server, data center name, host name and the name of the resource pool.  The other key words, 'host' and 'Resources' need to stay, because they are static components of the path.  The document addresses the Party on the path to the list of resources on page 19.

  And, through my tests, I found that if you deploy all right to a host (vs through vCenter), the syntax would be something like:

  ovftool.exe -ds=myDatastore01 testAppliance.ovf vi://esxiHostName.example.com/myResPool0
  

  which excludes the path to the list of resources and just uses the name of the list of resources, probably due to the different 'context' when it is connected directly to a host.

  It is not as it should be so difficult, but I can't make it work.

  Here's the deal, I have several different models that we deploy since.  I also have a different customization for each of these models.

  In the customization, the only information that must be provided at deployment time is intellectual property information.

  For example, if I want to deploy a VM of Windows 2003, I would use my 2003 Windows and customization model.  In this file, all information Windows are specified and the only items that I need to specify is what will be IP from Nic 1 and what will be the nic 2 IP.  Does anyone know how to pass these variables in order to deploy the machine?

  This command also works a long time that I do not specify the intellectual property information.

• Possible to deploy the OVF model directly from the local data store?

  I'm trying to optimize the consumption of resources and the speed of deployment of models of the FVO in ESXi 4.  Of course, the fastest and most effective way to do so would be to have the models of the FVO in a data store and deploy them directly to another (two stores on the same host).  That's what I'm trying to accomplish.

  Problem seems to be that when you use the vSphere client to deploy templates of the FVO, even when you point to the URL of the model on the same host (via http to the data store access) system, the vSphere client again retrieves the ESXi host files, then transfer their return.  So using twice the bandwidth on the host and the client system necessary.

  Does anyone know if it is possible to perform the deployment of a model of the FVO keeping all internal transfer to the ESXi host?  If anyone knows another method more effective than what I'm trying to achieve, I'm open to suggestions.

  The only way I can see that you can keep the internal traffic to the ESX host would be to have the vSphere client in a virtual machine running on the host computer, and configure your internal network Ms keep all traffic to the host

  4. remove the WCS WLC.
  5. Add WLC to WCS.
  6 try to set up the model again.

  Also, you can upgrade to 6.0.170 as there are to many model feature bugs that have been fixed in this version.

  We have vSphere 5.5 to 6 ESXi servers in a cluster and windows 2012R2 model to deploy virtual machines

  How can I deploy the template on this server 'stand-alone '?

  Can I copy the template to this server, register and deploy virtual machines.

  It doesn't matter if this host joins the cluster or remains outside the cluster, as long as it's part of your vCenter inventory.

  You can deploy virtual machines of your models that exist in your vCenter inventory. No need to export these as the OVF.

  But Yes if this fourth host you have in place will not join the vCenter inventory you need your vCenter templates to export OVF models so they can be used to deploy virtual machines to your hosts of stand-alone esxi (not managed by vCenter).
